RÉSUMÉ

In the most recent era, the extensions of the probability models via trigonometry methods have received great attention. This paper also offers a novel trigonometric version of the Weibull model called a type-I cosine exponentiated Weibull (for short "TICE-Weibull") distribution. The identifiability properties for all three parameters of the TICE-Weibull model are derived. The estimators of the TICE-Weibull model are derived by implementing the maximum likelihood approach. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the TICE-Weibull model, two applications from real-world phenomena are analyzed. In addition, the proposed statistical model is established for an attribute control chart based on a time-truncated life test. The advantage of the developed charts is examined based on the average run length (ARL). The necessary tables of shift sizes and various sample sizes are offered for numerous values of the distribution parameters, as well as specified ARL and shift constants. Some numerical examples are discussed for various scheme parameters to study the performance of the new TICE-Weibull attribute control charts. According to our search and a brief study of the statistical literature, there is no published work on the development of a control chart using new probability models that are introduced using the cosine function. This is the key motivation of this work, which fills this amazing and interesting research gap.

RÉSUMÉ

The modern trend in distribution theory is to propose hybrid generators and generalized families using existing algebraic generators along with some trigonometric functions to offer unique, more flexible, more efficient, and highly productive G-distributions to deal with new data sets emerging in different fields of applied research. This article aims to originate an odd sine generator of distributions and construct a new G-family called "The Odd Lomax Trigonometric Generalized Family of Distributions". The new densities, useful functions, and significant characteristics are thoroughly determined. Several specific models are also presented, along with graphical analysis and detailed description. A new distribution, "The Lomax cosecant Weibull" (LocscW), is studied in detail. The versatility, robustness, and competency of the LocscW model are confirmed by applications on hydrological and survival data sets. The skewness and kurtosis present in this model are explained using modern graphical methods, while the estimation and statistical inference are explored using many estimation approaches.

RÉSUMÉ

We hope to assess the different processing methodologies or the effectiveness of the devices or systems applied in this nonparametric statistical test by observing the failure behavior of the recorded survival data. The proposed second-order approach of new better than used (NBU 2) will be employed, which requires that the test data behaves either like NBU 2 property or exponentially. If the survival data is NBU 2, the proposed treatment method is likely to be beneficial. If the data are exponential, on the other hand, the recommended treatment method has no positive or negative influence on patients, as shown in the application section. To establish the validity of the test, we calculated the power of the proposed test and efficiency on both complete and censored data, compared the results to those of existing tests, and then applied the test to a range of real-world data.

RÉSUMÉ

The purpose of the nonparametric statistical test used in this study is to compare different treatment options by looking at failure behavior in recorded survival data. Patients' survival times are documented after using the proposed approach. The observed data's behavior was assumed to be based on used better than aged in the moment generating function order (UBAmgf) characteristic or a constant failure rate in this study (exponential scenario). Suppose that the survival data is UBAmgf, then the treatment or the machine or system in use produces a better or a higher expected total present value than an older machine governed by an exponential survival function; if the data is exponential, the suggested treatment strategy is ineffective (the recommended treatment approach has neither positive or negative effects on the patients). To guarantee that the suggested statistical test is used correctly, the efficiency and critical values are calculated and compared to those of other tests, and the technique is then applied to medical data.

RÉSUMÉ

The purpose of this research is to develop a maximum likelihood estimator (MLE) for lifetime performance index C L for the parameter of mixture Rayleigh-Half Normal distribution (RHN) under progressively type-II right-censored samples under the constraint of knowing the lower specification limit (L). Additionally, we suggest an asymptotic normal distribution for the MLE for C L in order to construct a mechanism for evaluating products' lifespan efficiency. We have specified all the steps to carry out the test. Additionally, not only does hypothesis testing successfully assess the lifetime performance of items, but it also functions as a supplier selection criterion for the consumer. Finally, we have added two real data examples as illustration examples. These two applications are provided to demonstrate how the results can be applied.

RÉSUMÉ

In the field of life testing, it is very important to study the reliability of any component under testing. One of the most important subjects is the "stress-strength reliability" term which always refers to the quantity P (X > Y) in any statistical literature. It resamples a system with random strength (X) that is subjected to a random strength (Y) such that a system fails in case the stress exceeds the strength. In this study, we consider stress-strength reliability where the strength (X) follows Rayleigh-half-normal distribution and stress (Y 1, Y 2, Y 3, and Y 4) follows Rayleigh-half-normal distribution, exponential distribution, Rayleigh distribution, and half-normal distribution, respectively. This effort comprises determining the general formulations of the reliabilities of a system. Also, the maximum likelihood estimation approach and method of moment (MOM) will be utilized to estimate the parameters. Finally, reliability has been attained utilizing various values of stress and strength parameters.
