RÉSUMÉ

The blind randomized placebo-controlled study of the efficacy of bladder peptide bioregulator Chitomur for the treatment of older age groups of men with benign prostatic hyperplasia was conducted. The effect of the drug on the main urodynamic parameters, symptoms dynamic of the lower urinary tract function disturbances, prostate volume and the quality of life of men with benign prostatic hyperplasia in age from 62 to 83 years was evaluated. It was found that the course application of peptide bioregulator Chitomur in elderly and senile patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia significantly improves the basic parameters of urination. That was accompanied by improved quality of life of the patients. The achieved improvement of urodynamic parameters and quality of life does not reduce during the month following the end of treatment. No adverse effects of the drug were found during the study, which is important for elderly patients and distinguishes it from the conventional drugs used for the treatment of patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia.

RÉSUMÉ

118 patients with gastric ulcer and 112 healthy people (control set) were examined. It is established that determination of connections between phenotype, responsiveness of general circulation, variability of cardiac rhythm, types of personality and levels of reactive anxiety allows to diagnose not only the prenosological and initial forms of gastric ulcer, but also to determine the tactics of conservative and surgical treatment of this disease.

RÉSUMÉ

Timely diagnostics and treatment of the stomach cancer and its relapse in patients of different age is one of the complex problems in geriatrics, surgery and oncology. The peculiarities of clinic course of stomach cancer and its relapse were analyzed in 600 histories. The study revealed the dependence on age of development of stomach cancer and its possible relapse; period of preoperative preparation and effectiveness of the treatment in dependence on the age of the patient. The results demonstrate that elderly and senile patients are of high risk to get the stomach cancer and its relapse; they also often have many complications of the disease. The disease is diagnosed at generalized stage in 70% of the cases; at the same time 52% of patients, especially elderly and senior ones, come to the hospital as first aid patients, which confirms the necessity to improve the methods of early diagnostic of the disease.

RÉSUMÉ

Early diagnosis of stomach cancer and its recurrences in patients of different age groups is one of the urgent problems in geriatrics, abdominal surgery and oncology. The purpose of our investigation consists in the development of the optimal examination scheme of the patient admitted to a multifield hospital with stomach cancer or its relapse under diagnosis. There has been suggested a diagnostic algorithm, permitting optimization of major disease and concomitant pathology detection, carrying out preoperative preparation, including adequate treatment of somatic diseases, development of most effective medicinal programme.

RÉSUMÉ

Some results of a complex medical study of Chernobyl disaster liquidators and its contaminated catchment areas population. The immunity status of 279 women had been analyzed as compared to that of control groups of 92 women, living in similar conditions. It was found out, that long after the disaster factors' disappearance, in the women's immunity system a derangement has been noticed in the form of T-lymphocyte increased content and a suppressed functional activity of immune-competent cells, which should be born in mind at the regular medical check-ups. Long-time and low-intensive radiation usually resulted in cell and humoral immunity disorders. That in combination with chemical factors lead to a secondary immunodeficiency state development with a following pharmacological correction necessity (by cytokines).
