RÉSUMÉ

The dataset explores the relationship between emotional intelligence and teamwork results of university students. This study was based on a survey of 372 university students in Vietnam. Four dimensions of emotional intelligence: emotional awareness, emotion's usage, emotional understanding and emotional controlling were measured with the 18-item scale designed by Mayer and Salovey (1997) and Schutte et al. (1998). Teamwork results was assessed by using the 6-item developed by Volet and Mansfield (2006). The respondent's characteristics also explored through the survey include: gender, what year students are from, how often they work in teams. The dataset was collected to study the direct effects of emotional intelligence on teamwork performance of university students and give some recommendations to managers, lecturers and university students to promote teamwork performance of university students in general and in Vietnam in particular.

RÉSUMÉ

The dataset explores the factors affecting the sustainable consumption intention of Vietnamese consumers. The research model was built based on a combination of the theory of planned behavior (TPB) and norm activation model (NAM) with 7 factors and 26 items. The data set was the result of a large-scale survey of 551 Vietnamese people with different demographic characteristics conducted in November 2021. The data set was the basis for identifying factors that influence the sustainable consumption intention of Vietnamese consumers, thereby making recommendations to state management agencies and enterprises to promote sustainable consumption intentions in Vietnam.

RÉSUMÉ

The dataset presents factors influencing consumer behavior towards bringing own shopping bags instead of using plastic bags in Vietnam. The survey was designed based on the theoretical integration model of theory of planned behavior (TPB) and norm activation model (NAM) including 8 factors, 25 items inherited from the studies. 7 other items were used to find out the respondent's characteristics, including: gender, age, educational qualification, marital status, job, number of family members and income. The questionnaires were sent in two forms: direct distribution and collection at some supermarkets; online survey via Google Docs tool to some consumers in Vietnam in November 2020. 536 valid questionnaires were collected to study factors influencing consumer behavior towards bringing own shopping bags instead of using plastic bags in Vietnam. The data set was collected as a reference source for later research on consumer behaviors to protect the environment in general and the behavior to bring own shopping bags instead of using plastic bags in particular.

RÉSUMÉ

How to attract knowledge human resources, namely graduate students for the economics development of the rural regions is a big question for any government. The patterns of young graduates' move during the transition from universities to the labour market: stay in the big city or return back to their rural hometown to begin their work life, why do people return rural hometown to settle their careers, are needed to be deeply considered in various contexts. The data represents a quantitative study to assess the relationship between working location choice of graduate and its determinants in Vietnam - a developing country context. This data consists of the demographic characteristics of the sample and two main variables. First, place attractiveness with three sub-dimension including quality of life, job opportunities, and place attachment. Second, social dimension with two sub-dimension which are social norms and family supports. The data were collected using a cross-sectional questionnaire and was analysed using SPSS version 22. Analyses of the data can provide insights into determinants of return hometown to work decision that may be useful for researchers in the field to understand workplace choice of graduates, for business managers who want to attract high skilled staff and for rural communities and provincial policymakers. It may serve as a reference to expand research and to develop interventions to encouraging student return back hometown to work after university graduation.

RÉSUMÉ

This paper presents a survey dataset on factors influencing farmers' intention to produce organic farming in Hanoi, Vietnam. The survey was designed based on the theoretical integration model of theory of planned behavior (TPB) and norm activation model (NAM) including 7 factors, 33 items inherited from previous studies to collect information of the respondents and 5 other items used to find out the respondent's characteristic include: gender, age, educational qualification, farming experience and farming annual income. Questionnaires were sent directly to farmers at their home or farm in October 2019. 318 valid questionnaires were collected for the study of intentions for organic farming. The dataset was obtained as a reference source for later studies on organic farming development and organic farming production intent/behavior promotion.

RÉSUMÉ

Plasmodium lactate dehydrogenase (pLDH) is a strong target antigen for the determination of infection with Plasmodium species specifically. However, a more effective antibody is needed because of the low sensitivity of the current antibody in many immunological diagnostic assays. In this study, recombinant Plasmodium vivax LDH (PvLDH) was experimentally constructed and expressed as a native antigen to develop an effective P. vivax-specific monoclonal antibody (mAb). Two mAbs (2CF5 and 1G10) were tested using ELISA and immunofluorescence assays (IFA), as both demonstrated reactivity against pLDH antigen. Of the 2 antibodies, 2CF5 was not able to detect P. falciparum, suggesting that it might possess P. vivax-specificity. The detection limit for a pair of 2 mAbs-linked sandwich ELISA was 31.3 ng/ml of the recombinant antigen. The P. vivax-specific performance of mAbs-linked ELISA was confirmed by in vitro-cultured P. falciparum and P. vivax-infected patient blood samples. In conclusion, the 2 new antibodies possessed the potential to detect P. vivax and will be useful in immunoassay.
