RÉSUMÉ

Background: Aspergillus, a widespread fungus in the natural environment, poses a significant threat to human health by entering the human body via the airways and causing a disease called aspergillosis. This study comprehensively analyzed data on aspergillosis in published articles from mainland China to investigate the prevalence of Aspergillus, and risk factors, mortality rate, and underlying condition associated with aspergillosis. Methods: Published articles were retrieved from Google Scholar, PubMed, and Science Direct online search engines. In the 101 analyzed studies, 3558 Aspergillus isolates were meticulously collected and classified. GraphPad Prism 8 was used to statistically examine the epidemiology and clinical characteristics of aspergillosis. Results: Aspergillus fumigatus was prominently reported (n = 2679, 75.14%), followed by A. flavus (n = 437, 12.25%), A. niger (n = 219, 6.14%), and A. terreus (n = 119, 3.33%). Of a total of 9810 patients, 7513 probable cases accounted for the highest number, followed by confirmed cases (n = 1956) and possible cases (n = 341). In patients, cough emerged as the most common complaint (n = 1819, 18.54%), followed by asthma (n = 1029, 10.48%) and fever (1024, 10.44%). Of total studies, invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA) was reported in 47 (45.53%) studies, exhibiting an increased prevalence in Beijing (n = 12, 25.53%), Guangdong (n = 7, 14.89%), and Shanghai (n = 6, 12.76%). Chronic pulmonary aspergillosis (CPA) was reported in 14 (13.86%) studies. Among the total of 14 studies, the occurrence of CPA was 5 (35.71%) in Beijing and 3 (21.42%) in Shanghai. Allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA), was reported at a lower frequency (n = 8, 7.92%), Guangdong recorded a relatively high number (n = 3, 37.5%), followed by Beijing (n = 2, 25.0%), and Shanghai (n = 1, 12.5%). Percentage of death reported: IPA had the highest rate (n = 447, 68.87%), followed by CPA (n = 181, 27.88%) and ABPA (n = 14, 2.15%). Among the aspergillosis patients, 6220 had underlying conditions, including chronic lung disease (n = 3765, 60.53%), previous tuberculosis (n = 416, 6.68%), and organ transplant or organ failure (n = 648, 10.41%). Aspergillosis was also found in patients using corticosteroid therapy (n = 622, 10.0%). Conclusion: This review sheds light on the prevalence patterns of Aspergillus species, risk factors of aspergillosis, and gaps in surveillance that could be helpful for the control and treatment of aspergillosis and guide the researchers in future studies. Registration: This systematic review was prospectively registered on PROSPERO: Registration ID CRD42023476870.

RÉSUMÉ

BACKGROUND: Strawberry, being an important economic crop, requires a large amount of human labor for harvesting operations. Efficient and non-destructive harvesting by strawberry harvesting robots requires the precise location of the picking points. Current algorithms for locating picking points encounter significant issues with location errors and minimal effective information in complex situations. RESULTS: To improve the accuracy of the location of picking points, this study proposes a visual location method based on composite models. This method employs object detection and instance segmentation models to detect fruits and segment peduncles sequentially, thereby enabling the identification of picking points and inclination on the peduncle. Different object detection algorithms and instance segmentation models were validated to explore the optimal model combination, and the Convolutional Block Attention Module (CBAM) was integrated into YOLOv8s-seg to construct YOLOv8s-seg-CBAM. Test results show that the composite model built with YOLOv8s and YOLOv8s-seg-CBAM achieved a peduncle detection accuracy of 86.2%, with an inference time of 30.6 ms per image. CONCLUSION: The picking point visual location method based on YOLOv8s and YOLOv8s-seg-CBAM composite models can better balance accuracy and efficiency and can provide more accurate guidance for automated harvesting. © 2024 Society of Chemical Industry.

RÉSUMÉ

The misuse of herbicides in fields can cause severe toxicity in maize, resulting in significant reductions in both yield and quality. Therefore, it is crucial to develop early and efficient methods for assessing herbicide toxicity, protecting maize production, and maintaining the field environment. In this study, we utilized maize crops treated with the widely used nicosulfuron herbicide and their hyperspectral images to develop the HerbiNet model. After 4 d of nicosulfuron treatment, the model achieved an accuracy of 91.37 % in predicting toxicity levels, with correlation coefficient R² values of 0.82 and 0.73 for soil plant analysis development (SPAD) and water content, respectively. Additionally, the model exhibited higher generalizability across datasets from different years and seasons, which significantly surpassed support vector machines, AlexNet, and partial least squares regression models. A lightweight model, HerbiNet-Lite, exhibited significantly low complexity using 18 spectral wavelengths. After 4 d of nicosulfuron treatment, the HerbiNet-Lite model achieved an accuracy of 87.93 % for toxicity prediction and R² values of 0.80 and 0.71 for SPAD and water content, respectively, while significantly reducing overfitting. Overall, this study provides an innovative approach for the early and accurate detection of nicosulfuron toxicity within maize fields.

RÉSUMÉ

The advent of Industry 4.0 has significantly promoted the field of intelligent manufacturing, which is facilitated by the development of new technologies are emerging. Robot technology and robot intelligence methods have rapidly developed and been widely applied. Manipulators are widely used in industry, and their control is a crucial research topic. The inverse kinematics solution of manipulators is an important part of manipulator control, which calculates the joint angles required for the end effector to reach a desired position and posture. Traditional inverse kinematics solution algorithms often face the problem of insufficient generalization, and iterative methods have challenges such as large computation and long solution time. This paper proposes a reinforcement learning-based inverse kinematics solution algorithm, called the MAPPO-IK algorithm. The algorithm trains the manipulator agent using the MAPPO algorithm and calculates the difference between the end effector state of the manipulator and the target posture in real-time by designing a reward mechanism, while considering Gaussian distance and cosine distance. Through experimental comparative analysis, the feasibility, computational efficiency, and superiority of this reinforcement learning algorithm are verified. Compared with traditional inverse kinematics solution algorithms, this method has good generalization and supports real-time computation, and the obtained result is a unique solution. Reinforcement learning algorithms have better adaptability to complex environments and can handle different sudden situations in different environments. This algorithm also has the advantages of path planning, intelligent obstacle avoidance, and other advantages in dynamically processing complex environmental scenes.

RÉSUMÉ

The application of interleukin-17 (IL-17) inhibitors, including secukinumab, ixekizumab, brodalumab, and bimekizumab, are associated with elevated risk of candidiasis. These medications interfere with the IL-17 pathway, which is essential for maintaining mucosal barriers and coordinating the immune response against Candida species. The observational data and clinical trials demonstrate the increased incidence of candidiasis in individuals treated with IL-17 inhibitors. Brodalumab and bimekizumab pose a greater risk than secukinumab in eliciting candidiasis, whereas the data regarding ixekizumab are equivocal. Higher doses and prolonged treatment duration of IL-17 inhibitors increase the risk of candidiasis by compromising the immune response against Candida species. Prior to prescribing IL-17 inhibitors, healthcare professionals should comprehensively evaluate patients' medical histories and assess their risk factors. Patients should be educated on the signs and symptoms of candidiasis to facilitate early detection and intervention. Future research should focus on identifying the risk factors associated with candidiasis in patients receiving IL-17 inhibitors. Prospective studies and long-term surveillance are required to explore the impact of specific inhibitors on the incidence and severity of candidiasis and to evaluate the effectiveness of combination therapies, such as concurrent use of IL-17 inhibitors and prophylactic antifungal agents.

RÉSUMÉ

Interleukins (ILs) are vital in regulating the immune system, enabling to combat fungal diseases like candidiasis effectively. Their inhibition may cause enhanced susceptibility to infection. IL inhibitors have been employed to control autoimmune diseases and inhibitors of IL-17 and IL-23, for example, have been associated with an elevated risk of Candida infection. Thus, applying IL inhibitors might impact an individual's susceptibility to Candida infections. Variations in the severity of Candida infections have been observed between individuals with different IL inhibitors, necessitating careful consideration of their specific risk profiles. IL-1 inhibitors (anakinra, canakinumab, and rilonacept), IL-2 inhibitors (daclizumab, and basiliximab), and IL-4 inhibitors (dupilumab) have rarely been associated with Candida infection. In contrast, tocilizumab, an inhibitor of IL-6, has demonstrated an elevated risk in the context of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) treatment, as evidenced by a 6.9% prevalence of candidemia among patients using the drug. Furthermore, the incidence of Candida infections appeared to be higher in patients exposed to IL-17 inhibitors than in those exposed to IL-23 inhibitors. Therefore, healthcare practitioners must maintain awareness of the risk of candidiasis associated with using of IL inhibitors before prescribing them. Future prospective studies need to exhaustively investigate candidiasis and its associated risk factors in patients receiving IL inhibitors. Implementing enduring surveillance methods is crucial to ensure IL inhibitors safe and efficient utilization of in clinical settings.

RÉSUMÉ

Material patterning through templates has provided an efficient way to meet the critical requirement for surface function in various fields. Here, we develop a self-releasing photolithographic process to make large-area freestanding templates with precise patterns. The low surface energy of substrates by hydrophobic treatment with proper silane modification ensures the template self-releasing. This method eliminates the need of mechanical separation or any sacrificial layers. Major steps including UV exposure and baking are optimized to realize high-quality structures and the final release of templates. The negative photoresists of SU-8 and polyimide are chosen to confirm the feasibility of this process. Wafer-scale freestanding templates with uniform microhole arrays are obtained with high structural fidelity, smooth surfaces and excellent flexibility. The hole size ranges from several to several tens of micrometers with an extremely low variation (<1%). These advantages could promote the application of precisely structured templates for surface patterning in material and surface science.

RÉSUMÉ

Enzyme-based biosensors commonly utilize the drop-casting method for their surface modification. However, the drawbacks of this technique, such as low reproducibility, coffee ring effects, and challenges in mass production, hinder its application. To overcome these limitations, we propose a novel surface functionalization strategy of enzyme crosslinking via inkjet printing for reagentless enzyme-based biosensors. This method includes printing three functional layers onto a screen-printed electrode: the enzyme layer, crosslinking layer, and protective layer. Nanomaterials and substrates are preloaded together during our inkjet printing. Inkjet-printed electrodes feature a uniform enzyme deposition, ensuring high reproducibility and superior electrochemical performance compared to traditional drop-casted ones. The resultant biosensors display high sensitivity, as well as a broad linear response in the physiological range of the serum phosphate. This enzyme crosslinking method has the potential to extend into various enzyme-based biosensors through altering functional layer components.

RÉSUMÉ

Establishing low-resistance ohmic contact is critical for developing electronic devices based on traditional silicon and new low-dimensional materials. Due to unprecedented electronic and mechanical properties, the one-dimensional carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have been used as source/drain, gate, or tunnel to fabricate transistors. However, the mechanism causing low-resistance ohmic contact is not clear yet. Here, the hybrid atomic force microscopy-scanning electron microscopy (AFM-SEM) instrument was developed to establish lower-resistance ohmic contact between a radial compressed deformed multiwalled CNT bundle and high work function metal (platinum and gold). The radial compression structure under strong van der Waals attraction was in situ characterized through the SEM image to obtain the diameter and width and through AFM to get height and to perform nanoindentation, indicating that Pt has the smaller radial compression deformation. Molecular dynamics simulations exhibit that compared to Pt, a wider ribbon-like graphene layer formed when the radial compressed CNTs contacted with Au. The bond forming and electron orbital overlapping between C atoms of deformed CNTs and the high work function metal atom is beneficial for good electrical contact.

RÉSUMÉ

Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) have been recognized as safe microorganism that improve micro-flora disturbances and enhance immune response. A well-know traditional herbal medicine, Acanthopanax senticosus (As) was extensively utilized in aquaculture to improve growth performance and disease resistance. Particularly, the septicemia, skin wound and gastroenteritis caused by Aeromonas hydrophila threaten the health of aquatic animals and human. However, the effects of probiotic fermented with A. senticosus product on the immune regulation and pathogen prevention in fish remain unclear. Here, the aim of the present study was to elucidate whether the A. senticosus fermentation by Lactobacillus rhamnosus improve immune barrier function. The crucian carp were fed with basal diet supplemented with L. rhamnosus fermented A. senticosus cultures at 2 %, 4 %, 6 % and 8 % bacterial inoculum for 8 weeks. After trials, the weight gain rate (WGR), specific growth rate (SGR) were significantly increased, especially in LGG-6 group. The results confirmed that the level of the CAT, GSH-PX, SOD, lysozyme, and MDA was enhanced in fish received with probiotic fermented product. Moreover, the L. rhamnosus fermented A. senticosus cultures could trigger innate and adaptive immunity, including the up-regulation of the C3, C4, and IgM concentration. The results of qRT-PCR revealed that stronger mRNA transcription of IL-1ß, IL-10, IFN-γ, TNF-α, and MyD88 genes in the liver, spleen, kidney, intestine and gills tissues of fish treated with probiotic fermented with A. senticosus product. After infected with A. hydrophila, the survival rate of the LGG-2 (40 %), LGG-4 (50 %), LGG-6 (60 %), LGG-8 (50 %) groups was higher than the control group. Meanwhile, the pathological damage of the liver, spleen, head-kidney, and intestine tissues of probiotic fermentation-fed fish could be alleviated after pathogen infection. Therefore, the present work indicated that L. rhamnosus fermented A. senticosus could be regard as a potential intestine-target therapy strategy to protecting fish from pathogenic bacteria infection.

RÉSUMÉ

Aspergillosis is a rising concern worldwide; however, its prevalence is not well documented in China. This retrospective study determined Aspergillus's epidemiology and antifungal susceptibilities at Meizhou People's Hospital, South China. From 2017 to 2022, the demographic, clinical, and laboratory data about aspergillosis were collected from the hospital's records and analysed using descriptive statistics, chi-square test, and ANOVA. Of 474 aspergillosis cases, A. fumigatus (75.32%) was the most common, followed by A. niger (9.92%), A. flavus (8.86%), and A. terreus (5.91%). A 5.94-fold increase in aspergillosis occurred during the study duration, with the highest cases reported from the intensive care unit (52.74%) - chronic pulmonary aspergillosis (79.1%) and isolated from sputum (62.93%). Only 38 (8.02%) patients used immunosuppressant drugs, while gastroenteritis (5.7%), haematologic malignancy (4.22%), and cardiovascular disease (4.22%) were the most prevalent underlying illnesses. In A. fumigatus, the wild-type (WT) isolates against amphotericin B (99.1%) were higher than triazoles (97-98%), whereas, in non-fumigatus Aspergillus species, the triazole (95-100%) WT proportion was greater than amphotericin B (91-95%). Additionally, there were significantly fewer WT A. fumigatus isolates for itraconazole and posaconazole in outpatients than inpatients. These findings may aid in better understanding and management of aspergillosis in the region.

RÉSUMÉ

In recent years, pollution caused by disinfection by-products (DBPs) has become a global concern. Initially, there were fewer contaminants, and the mechanism of their generation was unclear; however, the number of contaminants has increased exponentially as a result of rapid industrialization and numerous economic activities (e.q., during the outbreak of COVID-19 a surge in the use of chlorinated disinfectants was observed). DBP toxicity results in various adverse health effects and organ failure in humans. In addition, it profoundly affects other forms of life, including animals, plants, and microorganisms. This review comprehensively discusses the pre-treatment methods of traditional and emerging DBPs and the technologies applied for their detection. Additionally, this paper provides a detailed discussion of the principles, applicability, and characteristics of traditional large-scale instrumentation methods (such as gas/liquid/ion chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry) for detecting DBPs based on their respective detection techniques. At the same time, the design, functionality, classification, and characteristics of rapid detection technologies (such as biosensors) are also detailed and analyzed.

RÉSUMÉ

Objective: Cryptococcosis is a fatal infection that can affect both immunocompetent and immunocompromised patients, and it is little understood in China's various regions. This research aimed to look at the epidemiology, risk factors, and antifungal susceptibility pattern of Cryptococcus neoformans in eastern Guangdong, China. Methods: A six-year (2016-2022) retrospective study was conducted at Meizhou People's Hospital, China. Demographical, clinical, and laboratory data of cryptococcal patients were collected from hospital records and statistically analyzed using the chi-square and ANOVA tests. Results: Overall, 170 cryptococcal infections were recorded, of which meningitis accounted for 78 (45.88%), cryptococcemia for 50 (29.41%), and pneumonia for 42 (24.7%). The number of cases increased 8-fold during the study duration. The median age of patients was 58 years (Inter quartile range: 47-66), and the high proportion of cases was from the male population (n = 121, 71.17%). The underlying diseases were identified only in 60 (35.29%) patients, of which 26 (15.29%) were severely immunocompromised, and 26 (15.29%) others were mildly immunocompromised. A statistically significant difference was reported for chronic renal failure, and anemia (p < 0.05) persisted in cases of three infection types. A high number of non-wild type (NWT) isolates were found against amphotericin B (n=13/145, 8.96%), followed by itraconazole (n=7/136, 5.15%) and voriconazole (n=4/158, 2.53%). Only six isolates (3.79%) were multidrug-resistant, four of which were from cryptococcemia patients. Compared to meningitis and pneumonia, cryptococcemia revealed a higher percentage of NWT isolates (p < 0.05). Conclusion: In high-risk populations, cryptococcal infections require ongoing monitoring and management.

RÉSUMÉ

Escherichia coli O157:H7 is the primary serotype of enterohaemorrhagic E. coli (EHEC), which can cause diarrhea, hemorrhagic colitis, and hemolytic uremic syndrome. It is considered as a major health concern due to it being a zoonotic disease that is transmitted through food. In this study, a pathogenic bacterium was isolated from infected carp, which identified as E. coli O157:H7 named X21 through genetic sequencing, phylogenetic analysis, physiological and biochemical tests. In the experiment, crucian carp was used as a model to study the pathogenicity of the isolate, the pathological histological observations and cytokines expression of fish tissues were determined after bacterial challenge. The results showed that severe pathological damage observed in the liver, spleen, headkidney of fish infected with isolate X21. Besides, we found that accumulation of IgT+ B cells in the lamina propria of intestine, and up-regulation of SUCH-r, IL-1ß, IL-10, IL-11, MyD88, and TNF-α gene in various tissues. After challenged, the survivability of crucian carp infected with isolate X21 stands at a mere 14.27%. To our knowledge, this is the first report that E. coli O157:H7 infected the freshwater fish C. carpio, which indicates that this bacterium is a potential threat to public health and freshwater fish aquaculture.

RÉSUMÉ

Candidiasis is a life-threatening disease that increases mortality in critically ill patients. However, such epidemiological data are still lacking in underdeveloped regions of China. A retrospective analysis (2016 to 2021) was conducted in Meizhou People's Hospital, China to study the burden of candidiasis, particularly candidemia, and antifungal susceptibilities of the species among hospitalized patients. Of the 7,864 candidiasis cases, 461 (5.86%) were candidemia cases. Candida albicans (64.25%) was the most identified species, followed by C. tropicalis (12.61%), C. glabrata (10.79%), and C. parapsilosis (9.79%). In non-C. albicans (NCA) candidemia cases, the number of C. glabrata cases was higher (102/461, 22.37%) than C. tropicalis (64/461, 14.04%). Gastrointestinal pathology, respiratory dysfunctions, septic shock, and malignancies were common underlying comorbidities, respectively. A central venous catheter was an independent risk factor for both C. albicans and NCA candidemia. The mortality rate was not statistically significant for either C. albicans or NCA. Amphotericin B and 5-flucytosine were highly effective (98 to 100%), while azoles were least effective (67.74 to 95.66%). Candidemia cases caused by C. tropicalis and C. glabrata had significantly lower azole susceptibility than non-candidemia-causing isolates. This study provides valuable information for prescribers to choose the right empirical therapy, for researchers to explore different resistance mechanisms, and for health care managers to control candidiasis better. IMPORTANCE This study provides important information on the burden of candidiasis, particularly candidemia, and the antifungal susceptibility of Candida species among hospitalized patients in an underdeveloped region of China. First, the finding that azoles were least effective against Candida species causing candidemia is particularly noteworthy, as it suggests the possibility of resistance to this class of antifungal agents. This information can guide the choice of empirical therapy and help in the selection of appropriate antifungal agents for the treatment of candidemia, thereby reducing the risk of resistance development. Second, the study provides important information for researchers to explore different resistance mechanisms in Candida species. Finally, the study has important implications for health care managers in controlling the spread of candidiasis. The high prevalence of candidemia cases in the study highlights the need for appropriate infection control measures to prevent the spread of the disease.

RÉSUMÉ

Agricultural drought hazard is a complex time-delayed system affected by multiple hazard factors. The ability to estimate agricultural drought hazard accurately is crucial for guaranteeing food security. A TDMGM(1,m,N) prediction model coupling the time-delayed cumulative driving effect of multi-factor and the development characteristics of multi-system is constructed by introducing the time-delayed driving term and simultaneous formula with the goal of solving the problem of multivariate time-delayed prediction modeling of agricultural drought hazard. The definition form and derivation form of the TDMGM(1,m,N) model are given under the two cases of small and large variations of relevant variables, and the nonlinear solutions of the optimal delay parameters are given by using the fmincon function in Matlab. The solution method for model parameter estimation is also provided. It is proved that GM(1,1), GM(1,N), time-delayed GM(1,N), MGM(1,m) and MGM(1,m,N) are all special forms of TDMGM(1,m,N) model. The effect of multiplier transformation on model parameters, simulation prediction value, and model accuracy is also investigated. Finally, the TDMGM(1,m,N) model is applied to predict agricultural drought hazard in Henan Province. The findings demonstrate that the model can address the prediction problem of multiple system characteristic variables when multiple relevant variables exhibit time-delayed properties with good fitting and prediction accuracy.

RÉSUMÉ

Aeromonas veronii is an important aquatic zoonotic, which elicits a range of diseases, such as haemorrhagic septicemia. To develop an effective oral vaccine against Aeromonas veronii infection in carp, the Aeromonas veronii adhesion (Aha1) gene was used as a target molecule to attach to intestinal epithelial cells. Two anchored recombinant. Lactic acid bacteria strains (LC-pPG-Aha1 1038 bp and LC-pPG-Aha1-LTB 1383 bp) were constructed by fusing them with the E. coli intolerant enterotoxin B subunit (LTB) gene and using Lactobacillus casei as antigen delivery vector to evaluate immune effects of these in carp. Western blotting and immunofluorescence were used to confirm that protein expression was successful. Additionally, levels of specific IgM in serum and the activities of ACP, AKP, SOD, LYS, C3, C4, and lectin enzymes-were assessed. Cytokines IL-10, IL-1ß, TNF-α, IgZ1, and IgZ2 were measured in the liver, spleen, kidney, intestines, and gills tissue by qRT-PCR, which showed an increasing trend compared with the control group (P < 0.05). A colonization assay showed that the two L. casei recombinants colonized the middle and hind intestines of immunized fish. When immunized carp were experimentally challenged with Aeromonas veronii the relative percentage protection of LC-pPG-Aha1 was 53.57%, and LC-pPG-Aha1-LTB was 60.71%. In conclusion, these results demonstrate that Aha1 is a promising candidate antigen when it is displayed on lactic acid bacteria (Lc-pPG-Aha1 and Lc-pPG-Aha1-LTB) seems promising for a mucosal therapeutic approach. We plan to investigate the molecular mechanism of the L. casei recombinant in regulating the intestinal tissue of carp in future studies.

RÉSUMÉ

Intestinal inflammation is a protective response that is implicated in bacterial enteritis triggered by gastrointestinal infection. The immune mechanisms elicited in teleost against the infection of Aeromonas veronii are largely unknown. In this study, we performed a de novo northern snakehead (Channa argus) transcriptome assembly using Illumina sequencing platform. On this basis we performed a comparative transcriptomic analysis of northern snakehead intestine from A. veronii-challenge and phosphate buffer solution (PBS)-challenge fish, and 2076 genes were up-regulated and 1598 genes were down-regulated in the intestines infected with A. veronii. The Gene Ontology (GO) enrichment analysis indicated that the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were enriched to 27, 21 and 20 GO terms in biological process, cellular component, and molecular function, respectively. A Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analysis showed that 420 DEGs were involved in 194 pathways. Moreover, 33 DEGs were selected for quantitative real-time PCR analysis to validate the RNA-seq data. The results reflected the consistency of the expression levels between qRT-PCR and RNA-seq data. In addition, a time-course analysis of the mRNA expression of 33 immune-related genes further indicated that the intestinal inflammation to A. veronii infection simultaneously regulated gene expression alterations. The present study provides transcriptome data of the teleost intestine, allowing us to understand the mechanisms of intestinal inflammation triggered by bacterial pathogens. RÉSUMÉ

Aeromonas veronii is a widespread pathogenic microorganism that can infect humans, animals, and a variety of aquatilia, at the same time, can cause diseases, mainly sepsis and ulcer syndrome. In this research, we first deleted the gene of lsrB's nucleotide sequences by homologous recombination. The results showed that the median lethal dose (LD50) of the mutant strain (ΔlsrB) for zebrafish was 1.28-times higher than that of the TH0426 strain. The toxicity of TH0426 to epithelioma papulosum cyprini (EPC) cells was 1.15-times and 1.64-times higher than that of ΔlsrB, 1 and 2 h after infection. The production ability of the biofilm of ΔlsrB decreased by 1.38-times, and the adhesion ability of ΔlsrB to EPC cells greatly decreased by 1.96-times than the TH0426. The result of motility detection pointed out that the swimming ability of ΔlsrB was down by 1.67-times. The results indicated that almost all of them lost their flagella after deleting the lsrB gene. In general, the virulence of TH0426 was reduced after deleting the lsrB gene. The final results point out that the lsrB gene of TH0426 is related to motility, biofilm formation, adhesion, and virulence.
