ABSTRACT
Mesenteric panniculitis is a nonspecific inflammation involving the mesentery. Its clinical presentation is variable depending on the stage of the disease. Clinical signs are usually pain but half of the patients remain asymptomatic. Palpable abdominal mass, weight loss, nausea and vomiting. There may be an inflammatory syndrome of variable intensity. Panniculitis is suspected based on scan showing hyperdense mesentery with adhesions to adjacent organs. Histologically there is adipocyte degeneration causing foreign body reaction and appear lymphoplasmacytic inflammatory lesions. We report a new case of mesenteric panniculitis associated with acute pancreatitis.

Since the advent of laparoscopic surgery of cholelithiasis the incidence rate of bile duct injuries has increased significantly in the literature in relation to the operators' learning curve. Unknown injuries can have dramatic, immediate consequences and progress to bile peritonitis. Moreover surgical repair of external biliary fistula at the stage of bile duct dilatation requires biliodigestive anastomosis or liver resections "réglées".

Pancreatic heterotopias (HP) are rare. They can occur at any age with a slight male predominance. These lesions are usually asymptomatic and they are often found incidentally during upper or lower GI endoscopy or during the anatomo-pathological examination of an organ which was resected for other reasons; they can be isolated or associated with a digestive pathology. We report, through observation, the association of HP with serous cystadenoma of the pancreas discovered during examinations to identify the etiology of isolated abdominal pain. The aim of this study is to analyse clinical and histological features of this rare pathology.
