[Echographic differential diagnosis in oculo-orbital tumors]. / Diagnostic diferential ecografic în unele tumori oculo-orbitare.

Within the period October 1987-September 1990, the authors submit 130 patients to clinical examination and ultrasonography the latter performed by adapting commercially available ultrasonograph type Bruel and Kjaer 3405 and Shimasonic. Among the investigated individuals, 25 exhibited oculo-orbital tumours of various types. The cases are assessed considering the following for establishing the diagnosis: clinical examination, ultrasonography, fluorescein angiography, radiotracer and morphopathological examinations. Besides the use an adapted device, the authors propose a simple and fast morphopathological method: the fixation in formaldehyde solution as long as 48 hours.

[Our experience in testing the lacrimal drainage system using radionuclides (nuclear dacryocystography with 99mTc O4)]. / Experienta noastra în testarea sistemului de drenaj lacrimal, cu radionuclizi (dacriocistografia nucleara cu 99mTc O4).

The function of the lacrimal drainage system was tested in 5 patients and 3 controls by scintigraphy with a Pho-GAMMA HP-1206 Nuclear scanner Chicago, coupled with a visualization system and data processing device of type MB 9101-GAMMA.

[Massive bilateral orbito-palpebral hematoma complicating acute myeloblastic leukemia]. / Hématome massif orbito-palpébral bi-latéral au cours d'une leucémie aiguë myéloblastique.

The authors present a case of acute mieloblastic leucemia, having as an unique symptom a massive bilateral orbito-palpebral hematoma, but having not other symptoms of the hemoragipar syndroms common in acute leucemiae. After a short period of retreat of the disease, the goeson, leading to death.
