RESUMO

A mechanism of basic serum blood antioxidant ceruloplasmin interaction with membrane surface of the monolayer from distearoyl phosphatidylcholine was investigated. It was shown that an important component of this interaction is an arising of a bond within negatively charged side chains of ceruloplasmin aminoacids and phosphate groups of monolayer film and change of packing density due to this interaction.

RESUMO

In the article the changes of lipid-protein bilayer of erythrocyte membrane, their structural-functional particularities and activities of lipid peroxidation in interrelation with anemia's parameters in athletes. It was shown that under the intensive prolonged physical load activation of lipid peroxidation in erythrocyte membranes led to significant changes of functional parameters accompanied by increased aggregation and permeability, glycocalix sorption ability and sorption capacity along with simultaneous alteration of phospholipid and protein membrane bilayer. These membrane changes in 75% athletes accociated with anemia development which correlates with degree of biochemical and structural-functional changes in erythrocyte membrane that requires correction by antioxidant and membranoprotective therapy on stage of athletes preparation.

RESUMO

Intensive training process is accompanied by the oxidative stress with alteration of homeostatic balance and functional possibility of cardio-vascular system followed by decrease of oxygen transport and tissue hypoxia. The tissue hypoxia and increase of oxygen active forms level worsen structural and functional status of erythrocyte membranes that led to the temporary anaemia. In this article was shown that Rithmocor corrected these alterations and increased adaptation of sportsmen to the intensive training load (increase of endurance). An improvement of erythrocyte membranes status resulted in the increase of intracorpuscular haemoglobin content the critical parameter for the anaemia development. It has been established that Rithmocor causes an increased of sportsmen endurance to the intensive training load and therefore could be recommended for use in this situation.

RESUMO

A review presents analysis of data on involving the oxygen active forms and products of lipid peroxidation resulted from oxidative stress in carcinogenesis at all its levels and during the treatment of cancer patients. Role of various classes of antioxidants in decrease of damaging effect of oxidative stress on DNA structure, state of plasmatic membrane and extracellular matrix as well as the prevention of development and progression of neoplasm is shown. The authors consider that use of antioxidants is well grounded during cytoreductive therapy in patients with various malignancies.

RESUMO

The antioxidant action of rhenium cluster complexes with isobutiric and gamma-aminobutiric acids were studied in vitro. It was established that strong antiradical properties were found in the reaction with stable radical diphenylpycrylhydrazile Re2(i-C3H7COO)4Cl2, [Re2(GABA)2Cl5(H2O)]Cl.2H2O. The chemiluminescence investigation of antioxidant properties of both substances Re2(i-C3H7COO)4Cl2 and [Re2(GABA)2Cl5(H2O)]Cl.2H2O has established that these properties are realized in the blood plasma and erythrocytes, but to different extent.

RESUMO

The dynamics of lipid peroxidation, antioxidant glutathione system condition in blood and viscerals (brain, heart, liver, spleen) of rats which were fractionally irradiated (10 fractions) in the total dose 1.0 Gy and oxidative homeostasis increase of primary and secondary lipid peroxidation products and glutathione system disturbances were established in the irradiated rats. The administration of splenosid diminished the disturbances of oxidative homeostasis but does not completely normalize the latter. The administration of splenosid during the irradiation course and after its finishing is more effective than only during the irradiation course.

RESUMO

The correlation-regressive and pharmacological analysis of butane acid derivates--ufibrat, Re2(isoC3H7COO)4Cl2Ta[Re2(GABA)2Cl4(H2O)2]Cl2--was made. It is established that among these substances antihypoxic activity on the hypercapnic hypoxic hypoxia have only ufibrat. It decrease mice's temperature of body, increase duration of period to the appearance of sudoms and the life longitudindity at the condition of hypercapnia-hypoxia.

RESUMO

The adaptogenic and antioxidant properties of new Ukrainian plant drug "Poliphytolum" was investigated on the model of stress, which was caused of hypergravitation 2 and 5 N.m2/kg2 action. It was established that hypergravitation makes typical stressory disturbances in oxidative homeostasis. The normalization action of "Polyphytolum" on lipid peroxidation is more strong in liver, spleen and blood, and less more--in brain. It may be caused of low level the drug in the brain tissue.

RESUMO

A study was made of the dynamics of lipid peroxidation (LPO) in rats after the whole-body 1.0 Gy X-irradiation (ten fractions of 0.1 Gy at a 24-hour interval; 0.425 R/min) and the possibility of correction LPO with alpha-tocopherylacetate, ascorbic acid and catechin complex by means of a single and combined administration. The accumulation of primary and secondary LPO products in blood, radiosensitive (spleen and mucosa of small intestine) and radioresistant (brain) organs is established. The administration of mentioned antioxidants diminishes the content LPO products, but does not completely normalize the latter. Administration of antioxidant complex was most effective.

RESUMO

Some pharmaceutical drugs--phenothiazine derivates--which have antioxidant properties were studied. One cannot eliminate the possibility, that such an effect of these drugs plays certain part in their action mechanism. Possible mechanisms of antioxidant effect of the drug are discussed proceeding from the study of kinetics of reactions of NADPH- and ascorbate-dependent peroxidation of lipids. There is a theoretical substantiation of the first-hand application of phenothiazine derivatives (among other neuroleptics) under the correction of psychoemotional stress and other states accompanied by the increase of lipid peroxidation.

RESUMO

The existence of enzymatic NADH-dependent peroxidation of lipids has been established. Some its characteristics in comparison with nonenzymatic ascorbate-dependent and enzymatic NADPH-dependent lipid peroxidation have been found. Some reactions of enzymatic peroxidation of lipids (NADPH- and NADH-dependent) in contrast to nonenzymatic (ascorbate-dependent), is not inhibited by the electron carriers (methylene blue and vikasol). This part of lipid peroxidation is not affected by hypoxia and combined effect of hypoxia as well as the action of carbon oxide (II) both separate and in combination with the electron carriers.
