We present the experience of pathological laboratory of la Rabta hospital in extra-pulmonary tuberculosis. We report an epidemiologic retrospective study of 830 cases occurring in our service over a period of 10 years from 1991 to 2000 and diagnosed by histopathological examination. Various epidemiological, clinical, pathological and diagnostic aspects are discussed.

[Linguinal metastasis from clear cell carcinoma of the kidney]. / Metastase linguale d'un carcinome a cellules claires du rein.

Clear cell carcinoma is the most frequent cancer of the kidney (60-80% of cases). This tumour has a great propensity to metastasis. Metastasis lesions appear 15 to 20 years after nephrectomy and differential diagnosis with can be difficult to establish. We report an exceptional case of renal cell carcinoma metastasis to the tongue in a 63-years-old male patient who had a nephrectomy 20 years previously. To our knowledge, this is the second case reported in the literature.
