RESUMO

Deciphering the regulatory network for human naive and primed pluripotency is of fundamental theoretical and applicable significance. Here, by combining quantitative proteomics, phosphoproteomics, and acetylproteomics analyses, we revealed RNA processing and translation as the most differentially regulated processes between naive and primed human embryonic stem cells (hESCs). Although glycolytic primed hESCs rely predominantly on the eukaryotic initiation factor 4E (eIF4E)-mediated cap-dependent pathway for protein translation, naive hESCs with reduced mammalian target of rapamycin complex (mTORC1) activity are more tolerant to eIF4E inhibition, and their bivalent metabolism allows for translating selective mRNAs via both eIF4E-dependent and eIF4E-independent/eIF4A2-dependent pathways to form a more compact naive proteome. Globally up-regulated proteostasis and down-regulated post-translational modifications help to further refine the naive proteome that is compatible with the more rapid cycling of naive hESCs, where CDK1 plays an indispensable coordinative role. These findings may assist in better understanding the unrestricted lineage potential of naive hESCs and in further optimizing conditions for future clinical applications.

The selective exposure of high-index facets at the surface of nanocrystals is an important and challenging research topic. Herein, polyhedral bismuth vanadate (BiVO4) crystals predominantly surrounded by {2 1 3} and {1 2 1} high-index facets were fabricated through the engineering of high-index surfaces by fluorinion (F-) mediated hydrothermal process. The as-prepared BiVO4-0.2F (the feeding amount of NaF was 0.2 g) catalyst exhibited high apparent quantum efficiency of 17.7% under 420 nm light irradiation and 9.3 fold enhancement of O2 evolution relative to its low-index counterparts. Moreover, the growth of high-index facets results in significant enhancement of hydroxyl radical (•OH) production, photocatalytic degradation of Rhodamine B (RhB) and photoelectrochemical (PEC) properties by the BiVO4 polyhedron, relative to its low-index counterparts. The enhanced photoreactivity is the result of the synergistic effect of F- on the surface of the BiVO4 crystals and exposed high-index facets. For one thing, F- on the surface of the BiVO4 facilitate the separation and transport of photo-induced charge carriers. For another, the exposed high-index facets on polyhedral BiVO4 provided much more reactive sites for photocatalytic reactions. Hopefully, this F- mediated method will be a useful guideline for designing and synthesizing novel high-index faceted micro-/nanostructures for overcoming the practical energy and environment problems.

PURPOSE: The early diagnosis of lymph node metastasis (LNM) in papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) is clinically important, as it can aid in treatment decision-making and improve prognosis. In the present study, we aimed to identify whether plasma exosomal miRNAs could be potential diagnostic markers of LNM in PTC. METHODS: Profiles of plasma exosomal miRNAs were screened using miRNA microarrays. Quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) was performed in the validation and diagnostic sets to select candidate exosomal miRNAs. Finally, receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were generated to evaluate the efficiency of target exosomal miRNAs in distinguishing PTC-N1 patients from PTC-N0 patients. RESULTS: In total, 197 miRNAs were found to be differentially expressed in the testing set. Based on the qRT-PCR results, the expression of miR-6774-3p (p < 0.001) and miR-6879-5p (p < 0.001) in the PTC-N1 patients was significantly higher than that in the controls. The AUC values of plasma exosomal miR-6774-3p (0.802; 95% CI, 0.724-0.879) and miR-6879-5p (0.787; 95% CI, 0.706-0.867) and their combination (0.914; 95% CI, 0.865-0.962) were higher than those of the total miRNAs directly isolated from plasma. Moreover, the expression of exosomal miRNAs was stable after treatment with RNase A, prolonged incubation, or repeated freezing and thawing. CONCLUSIONS: The two plasma exosomal miRNAs (miR-6774-3p and miR-6879-5p) and their combination could serve as new promising biomarkers for the diagnosis of LNM in PTC patients.

SOX2, a well-established pluripotency factor supporting the self-renewal of pluripotent stem cells (PSCs), is also a crucial factor for maintaining the properties and functionalities of neural progenitor cells (NPCs). It regulates the transcription of target genes by forming complexes with its partner factors, but systematic comparison of SOX2 binding partners in human PSCs versus NPCs is lacking. Here, by deciphering and comparing the SOX2-protein interactomes in human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) versus the NPCs derived from them, we identified 23 proteins with high reproducibility that are most differentially associated with SOX2, of which 9 are DNA repair proteins (PARP1, PARP2, PRKDC, XRCC1, XRCC5, XRCC6, RPA1, LIG3, DDB1). Genetic knocking-down or pharmacological inhibiting two of the DNA repair proteins (PARP1 and PRKDC) significantly up-regulated certain NPC or ectodermal biomarkers that are transcriptionally-suppressed by the SOX2/DNA repair protein complexes. These findings point to a crucial role of DNA repair proteins in pluripotent state transition and neural induction.

Fumonisin B1 (FB1) is the most common food-borne mycotoxin produced by the Fusarium species, posing a potential threat to human and animal health. Pigs are more sensitive to FB1 ingested from feed compared to other farmed livestock. Enzymatic degradation is an ideal detoxification method that has attracted much attention. This study aimed to explore the functional characteristics of the carboxylesterase FumDSB in growing pigs from the perspective of brain-gut regulation. A total of 24 growing pigs were divided into three groups. The control group was fed a basal diet, the FB1 group was supplemented with FB1 at 5 mg/kg feed, and the FumDSB group received added FumDSB based on the diet of the FB1 group. After 35 days of animal trials, samples from the hypothalamus and jejunum were analyzed through HE staining, qRT-PCR and immunohistochemistry. The results demonstrated that the ingestion of FB1 can reduce the feed intake and weight gain of growing pigs, indicating that several appetite-related brain-gut peptides (including NPY, PYY, ghrelin and obestatin, etc.) play important roles in the anorexia response induced by FB1. After adding FumDSB as detoxifying enzymes, however, the anorexia effects of FB1 were alleviated, and the expression and distribution of the corresponding brain-gut peptides exhibited a certain degree of regulation. In conclusion, the addition of FumDSB can reduce the anorexia effects of FB1 by regulating several brain-gut peptides in both the hypothalamus and the jejunum of growing pigs.

Background: The preoperative systemic immune-inflammation index (SII) is correlated with prognosis in several malignancies. The aim of this study was to investigate the prognosis value of SII in patients with resected breast cancer. Materials and Methods: A total of 784 breast cancer patients who underwent surgical resection were consecutively investigated. The optimal cutoff value of SII was evaluated using the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. The collection of SII with clinicopathological characteristic and prognosis was further evaluated. Results: The optimal cutoff value for SII in the prediction of survival was 514 according to ROC curve analysis. A high SII was significantly correlated with younger age (P = 0.037), PR status (P < 0.001), and HER2 status (P = 0.035). Univariate analysis revealed that SII (P < 0.001), T-stage (P < 0.001), lymph node involvement post-surgery (P = 0.024), and histological grade (P < 0.001) were significantly related to DFS, and SII (P < 0.001), T-stage (P = 0.003), lymph node involvement post-surgery (P = 0.006), and histological grade (P < 0.001) were significantly associated with OS. In multivariate analysis, a high SII was an independent worse prognostic factor for DFS (HR, 4.530; 95% CI, 3.279-6.258; P < 0.001) and OS (HR, 3.825; 95% CI, 2.594-5.640; P < 0.001) in all the enrolled patients. Furthermore, subgroup analysis of molecular subtype revealed that SII was significantly associated with prognosis in all subtypes. Conclusion: Preoperative SII is a simple and useful prognostic factor for predicting long-term outcomes for breast cancer patients undergoing surgery.

Window composting with inoculation or frequent turning is a superior way to improve traditional composting efficiency. However, the relationship between the innocent treatment in composting with inoculation or turning and microbial dynamics is unclear. Here, the impact of inoculation and turning for full scale composting on core bacterial community and their co-occurrence network as well as harmless level were compared by network analysis. Results showed that composts with both inoculation and turning had 46% increase of total organic carbon degradation compared to traditional composting and decreased the abundance of potential pathogens. The relative abundance of thermophilic bacteria and Galbibacter, Methylocaldum, Steroidobacter, etc. increased during composting with turning and inoculation. Luteimonas, Sphaerobacter, Turicibacter and Flavobacterium as core bacteria had significant difference between control and composting with enhanced innocent treatment efficiency. Network analysis suggested that turning increased the number of indigenous core bacteria and inoculation enhanced the interaction among key bacterial network.

Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a mini-invasive therapy on malignancies via reactive oxygen species (ROS) induced by photosenitizer (PS) upon light irradiation. However, poor target of PS to tumor limits the clinical application of PDT. Compared with normal tissues, tumor tissues have a unique enzymatic environment. The unique enzymatic environment in tumor tissues has been widely used as a target for developing smart materials to improve the targetability of drugs to tumor. Enzyme-responsive materials (ERM) as a smart material can respond to the enzymes in tumor tissues to specifically deliver drugs. In PDT, ERM was designed to react with the enzymes highly expressed in tumor tissues to deliver PS in the target site to prevent therapeutic effects and avoid its side-effects. In the present paper, we will review the application of ERM in PDT and discuss the challenges of ERM as carriers to deliver PS for further boosting the development of PDT in the management of malignancies.

Cadmium (Cd) and arsenic (As), two common heavy metals that are toxic to living bodies, are often commonly coadsorbed onto minerals in the soil environment and influenced by many surrounding factors. Among them, pH is the critical factor in determining the As(V)-Cd(II) interaction during coadsorption processes; hence, this study aimed to elucidate the regulatory mechanisms in determining the As(V)-Cd(II) interactions on γ-Al2O3 interface after excluding pH interference. At pH 6.0, Cd(II) adsorption sharply increased at first and then decreased with increasing As(V) concentrations, and the turning point of As(V)/Cd(II) molar ratios was approximately 5. For comparison, As(V) adsorption remained stable at the beginning and then sharply increased with increasing Cd(II) concentrations, with the turning point at Cd(II)/As(V) molar ratios = 1. Through analysis by zeta potential, X-ray diffraction and high resolution transmission electron microscope, electrostatic adsorption and formation of ternary complexes were proven to be the critical mechanisms in deciding the reactivity of Cd(II), whereas formation of ternary complexes and surface precipitation were the dominant mechanisms controlling the stability of As(V). The results in this study allowed us to infer that the mechanism for the coadsorption of Cd(II) and As(V) at stable pH conditions included both competitive and synergistic effects.

Proper development of mammalian skeletal muscle relies on precise gene expression regulation. Our previous studies revealed that muscle development is regulated by both mRNA and long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs). Accumulating evidence has demonstrated that N6-methyladenosine (m6A) plays important roles in various biological processes, making it essential to profile m6A modification on a transcriptome-wide scale in developing muscle. Patterns of m6A methylation in lncRNAs in developing muscle have not been uncovered. Here, we reveal differentially expressed lncRNAs and report temporal m6A methylation patterns in lncRNAs expressed in mouse myoblasts and myotubes by RNA-seq and methylated RNA immunoprecipitation (MeRIP) sequencing. Many lncRNAs exhibit temporal differential expression, and m6A-lncRNAs harbor the consensus m6A motif "DRACH" along lncRNA transcripts. Interestingly, we found that m6A methylation levels of lncRNAs are positively correlated with the transcript abundance of lncRNAs. Overexpression or knockdown of m6A methyltransferase METTL3 alters the expression levels of these lncRNAs. Furthermore, we highlight that the function of m6A genic lncRNAs might correlate to their nearby mRNAs. Our work reveals a fundamental expression reference of m6A-mediated epitranscriptomic modifications in lncRNAs that are temporally expressed in developing muscle.

Traditional microwave absorbers can hide target objects from the detection of radar waves without tackling optical waves. However, in actual scenarios, the objects might still be observed by a hyperspectral remote sensor or an imaging system from comparison with environmental optical features, in particular for variable backgrounds. For this aspect, a comprehensive stealthing technique able to deal with microwaves and optical features simultaneously adapting to the variable environment is highly desired. In this work, an ultrathin flexible metamaterial that can simultaneously realize wideband microwave absorption and controllable visible and near-infrared luminescence spectra is proposed. The designed artificial coat can absorb more than 80% of the incident energy in the X-band (8-12 GHz) within a large incidence angle range up to 54° at low polarization sensitivity, while its real-time visible and near-infrared luminescence spectrum can be electrically adjusted through an integrated emission system. The method proposed here can be extended to broader wave bands and find important applications in multifunctional stealthing technologies.

The emergence of hypervirulent and carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (hv-CRKP) has become a hot topic and confounding problem for clinicians and researchers alike. Conjugative virulence plasmids have the potential to cause more threatening dissemination of hv-CRKP strains. We previously identified K2606, a CG23 clinical hypervirulent strain of Klebsiella pneumoniae harboring a conjugative virulence plasmid designated pK2606. In this study we examined hypervirulence levels using assays of biofilm formation, serum resistance, and wax larvae and mouse in vivo infection models. Moreover, to define the transfer ability of pK2606 and whether this confers hypervirulence to other strains we performed plasmid transconjugation experiments between K2606 and the ST11 CRKP strain HS11286 along with E. coli J53. We found that although biofilm formation and serum resistance were not significantly increased, the transconjugants acquired the ability of produce high level of siderophores and also caused high mortality of wax larvae and mice. Furthermore, we identified pK2606-like conjugative virulence plasmids in GenBank, providing evidence that such plasmids may have begun to spread throughout China. These findings provide an evidence base for the possible mechanisms of the emergence of hv-CRKP strains and highlight the potential of pK2606-like conjugative virulence plasmids to spread worldwide.

Bacterial infections are common diseases causing tremendous deaths in clinical settings. It has been a big challenge to human beings because of the antibiotics abuse and the newly emerging microbes. Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a reactive oxygen species-based therapeutic technique through light-activated photosensitizer (PS). Recent studies have highlighted the potential of PDT as an alternative method of antibacterial treatment for its broad applicability and high efficiency. However, there are some shortcomings due to the low selectivity and specificity of PS. Growing evidence has shown that drug delivery nanoplatforms have unique advantages in enhancing therapeutic efficacy of drugs. Particularly, stimuli-responsive nanoplatforms, as a promising delivery system, provide great opportunities for the effective delivery of PS. In the present mini-review, we briefly introduced the unique microenvironment in bacterial infection tissues and the application of PDT on bacterial infections. Then we review the stimuli-responsive nanoplatforms (including pH-, enzymes-, redox-, magnetic-, and electric-) used in PDT against bacterial infections. Lastly, some perspectives have also been proposed to further promote the future developments of antibacterial PDT.

Series elastic actuators (SEAs) have widely been adapted in robots where safe human-robot interaction is required for accurate and robust force control. Recent research on the SEAs has shown that the SEA with a user-defined variable stiffness possesses several advantages over the constant stiffness SEA, such as large force range and bandwidth while keeping low output impedance and high force fidelity. However, a limitation of this type of SEA is that an obvious hysteresis effect exists and the associated torque curves are nonlinear and vary with amplitudes. Conventional mathematical hysteresis models are usually developed with some kind of black-box modeling, and the model parameters are adjusted through parameter identification methods. It is challenging to tune the model parameters to match the experimental data well among inputs with different amplitudes, let alone the inverse model of the hysteresis, which is necessary to compensate the hysteresis effect in control. In this paper, a rotary SEA (rSEA) with nonlinear stiffness is proposed. A concept called "virtual deformation" is introduced to mathematically transform the nonlinear curve into a polyline hysteresis model. This eases torque estimation with respect to the deformation of the rSEA. A hysteresis compensation torque controller is implemented for precise torque control. A prototype of the rSEA was fabricated, and the experimental results verified modeling accuracy of the proposed model. Our results showed that, with the new model, the computation cost was greatly reduced while keeping the modeling accuracy almost the same compared with the nonlinear backlash model.

The 2020 Nobel Prize in Chemistry was awarded to Emmanuelle Charpentier and Jennifer Doudna for the development of the Clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats/CRISPR-associated nuclease9 (CRISPR/Cas9) gene editing technology that provided new tools for precise gene editing. It is possible to target any genomic locus virtually using only a complex nuclease protein with short RNA as a site-specific endonuclease. Since cancer is caused by genomic changes in tumor cells, CRISPR/Cas9 can be used in the field of cancer research to edit genomes for exploration of the mechanisms of tumorigenesis and development. In recent years, the CRISPR/Cas9 system has been increasingly used in cancer research and treatment and remarkable results have been achieved. In this review, we introduced the mechanism and development of the CRISPR/Cas9-based gene editing system. Furthermore, we summarized current applications of this technique for basic research, diagnosis and therapy of cancer. Moreover, the potential applications of CRISPR/Cas9 in new emerging hotspots of oncology research were discussed, and the challenges and future directions were highlighted.

Background: Contactin 2, encoded by CNTN2 on chromosome 1q32.1, is a neural-specific glycoprotein and plays important roles in neurodevelopment. A deleterious homozygous variant in the CNTN2 gene was previously reported to cause autosomal recessive cortical myoclonic tremor and epilepsy. Since then, there has been no further report confirming the association of CNTN2 and epilepsy. Here, we reported one new case, who presented with epilepsy, carrying a novel homozygous frameshift variant in CNTN2. The clinical and genetic features of the patient were reviewed. Case presentation: The male patient presented with preschool age-of-onset neurodevelopmental impairment and focal seizures of temporal origin, and responded to valproate. A trio-whole exome sequencing revealed a novel homozygous frameshift variant in CNTN2 (c.2873_c.2874delCT, p.Thr958Thrfs). The patient's mother was a heterozygous carrier while his father was wild-type; they were both unaffected and non-consanguineous. Further study revealed that maternal uniparental disomy (1q32.1) unmasked the heterozygous variant of CNTN2 in the proband. Conclusions: This case enhanced the gene-disease relationship between CNTN2 and epilepsy, which will help to further understand this emerging disorder.

To evaluate the application of outcome indicators in randomized controlled trials(RCTs) concerning the treatment of tension-type headache(TTH) with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) in recent five years, so as to provide a basis for the study of core outcome set(COS) for TCM intervention in TTH. The RCTs on TCM treatment of TTH in recent five years were systematically retrieved from CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, CBM, EMbase, PubMed, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, ClinicalTrials.gov and China Clinical Trial Registry. After literature screening, data extraction and evaluation of the risk of bias, the outcome indicators in the included RCTs were subjected to qualitative analysis. The preliminary search yielded 19 042 articles, and 10 983 were left after the elimination of duplication. Finally, 52 RCTs(48 in Chinese and 4 in English) were included for qualitative analysis. The outcome indicators of RCTs included in this study were classified into seven domains: TCM syndrome, symptom and sign, physical and chemical detection, quality of life, long-term prognosis, economic evaluation, and safety event. The findings demonstrated that headache characteristic index in the symptom and sign domain was the index with the highest reporting frequency and reporting rate. Seventeen RCTs used TCM syndrome score as the outcome indicator. Further analysis revealed that there existed such problems in research design as non-distinction between primary and secondary outcome indicators, great difference in the adopted measurement tools for outcome indicators, and the neglect of measurement time of outcome indicators. Moreover, the syndrome indicators reflecting TCM advantages, objective evaluation indicators, safety and health-economic indicators were lacking. These limitations have affected the quality and reliability of RCTs on TTH treatment with TCM. It is suggested that the efficacy and characteristics of TCM should be combined into current clinical research, and the COS in RCTs regarding TCM treatment of TTH should be established according to internationally recognized standard procedures.

The efficacy of gastrodin as a Chinese herbal medicine extract in the treatment of tension-type headache has been confirmed. This paper systematically reviewed the efficacy and safety of gastrodin in the treatment of tension-type headache, aiming to provide a new choice for the treatment of this disease. In this study, four Chinese databases, four English databases and two trial registries were searched from the date of establishment to September 2020. The related randomized controlled trials(RCTs) were screened out according to the predetermined criteria. The bias risk assessment tool developed by Cochrane collaboration was used to evaluate the quality of the reports. RevMan 5.4.1 was used for Meta-analysis, and GRADE system for the evidence-based evaluation on the quality of outcome indicators. A total of 177 articles were retrieved and 8 articles were finally included for analysis, with a total sample size of 1 091 cases, which included 565 cases in the treatment group and 526 cases in the control group. The overall quality of included stu-dies was not high. The results of Meta-analysis are as follows:(1)In terms of headache frequency, gastrodin group was better than wes-tern medicine group(MD=-2.90, 95%CI[-3.76,-2.03], P<0.000 01).(2)In terms of number of abnormal blood vessels in TCD, gastrodin group was better than western medicine group(MD=-88.96, 95%CI[-102.36,-75.55], P<0.000 01).(3)In terms of effective rate, gastrodin group was better than western medicine group(RR=1.47, 95%CI[1.29, 1.68], P<0.000 01). The results of subgroup analysis are as follows:(1)Effective rate based on age, for the patients upper age limit 40-46 years old, gastro-din group was better than western medicine group(RR=1.69, 95%CI[1.50, 1.90], P<0.000 01); for the patients upper age limit 55-60 years old, gastrodin group was better than western medicine group(RR=1.27, 95%CI[1.16, 1.38], P<0.000 01).(2)Effective rate based on dosage form, both the gastrodin capsules and injection groups were better than western medicine group(RR_(capsules)=1.42, 95%CI[1.08, 1.88], P=0.01; RR_(injection)=1.50, 95%CI[1.26, 1.77], P<0.000 01). GRADE evaluation showed that the above outcomes had low quality of evidence. Only one article detailed the occurrence of adverse reactions and thus the present study cannot make a positive conclusion on the safety of gastrodin in the treatment of tension-type headache. The small number and low quality of the included reports affected the reliability of the results. In the future, more high-quality randomized controlled trails are needed to improve the evaluation on the efficacy and safety of gastrodin in the treatment of tension-type headache.

RESUMO

This study aims to systematically evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Toutongning Capsules in the treatment of tension-type headache(TTH), so as to provide a corresponding basis for clinical treatment. Eight commonly used medical research databases and two clinical trial registration systems were retrieved with the time interval from the establishment of the database or system to November 2020. The randomized controlled trials of Toutongning Capsules in the treatment of TTH were screened out according to the pre-set criteria. The quality of the included papers was evaluated by the bias risk assessment tool in Cochrane Reviewers Handbook 6.1 and the data were statistically analyzed by RevMan v5.4 provided by Cochrane collaboration. A total of 13 studies were included and the quality of methodology was generally low. Meta-analysis showed that Toutongning Capsules assisted with western medicine therapy can effectively reduce the pain intensity(MD_(VAS)=-1.94,95%CI[-2.50,-1.38],P<0.000 01;MD_(NRS)=-0.83,95%CI[-0.86,-0.80],P<0.000 01), headache duration(SMD=-0.98,95%CI[-1.17,-0.79],P<0.000 01), headache frequency(MD=-1.01,95%CI[-1.16,-0.85],P<0.000 01), headache index(MD=-11.13,95%CI[-12.10,-10.16],P<0.000 01), anxiety and depression scale score(MD_(HAMA)=-4.02,95%CI[-6.58,-1.46],P=0.002;MD_(HAMD)=-2.67,95%CI[-4.04,-1.29],P=0.000 1), while Toutongning Capsules as monotherapy only reduced the headache score(MD=-2.24,95%CI[-2.97,-1.51],P<0.000 01). The available clinical studies demonstrate that Toutongning Capsules combined with western medicine in the treatment of TTH can improve the related outcome indicators, but the clinical safety and efficacy of Toutongning Capsules alone remain unclear. Due to the small number and low quality of the included studies, large-sample, multi-center, high-quality and strictly designed randomized controlled trials are still needed to verify the clinical efficacy in the future.

Phosphate additives especially superphosphate can reduce nitrogen loss, and increase phosphorus availability in composting. This study investigated the changes of different heavy metals fractions and their relationship with bacterial community and abiotic factors during pig manure composting with adding equimolar H3PO4, H2SO4 and K2HPO4. Results showed that both acidic and alkaline labile phosphate increased the potential ecological risk of heavy metals compared to control, but K2HPO4 decreased the accumulation of exchangeable Zn and Mn by 12% and 15% than that with H3PO4 and H2SO4 addition. Network analysis showed that K2HPO4 enhanced the proportion of negative links in bacterial species with heavy metals, but H3PO4 decreased the stability of bacterial network. Redundancy analysis demonstrated that pH was the key factor on metal speciation and risk with phosphate additives than bacterial role. The study presented theoretical basis for additive selection in controlling composting nitrogen fixation and environmental risk.
