RESUMO

Taking the Xiushui township of Baisha county in Hainan province as the research area, the random forest algorithm with obvious advantages in feature selection and classification extraction was used to extract the information of the Callicarpa nudiflora planting in the study area. Firstly, four kinds of different characteristic variables were generated based on World View-3 data, including spectral features, principal component features, vegetation index and texture features. Secondly, the spatial distribution of the C. nudiflora in the study area was extracted by remote sensing by random forest classification algorithm. Finally, the feature space of the random forest classification algorithm was optimized based on the feature importance to obtain the best random forest classification results, and this result is compared with the classification result of the random forest algorithm of the unoptimized feature space. The results showed that:①The overall accuracy of the C. nudiflora extracted by World View-3 image was 89. 97%,and the Kappa coefficient was 0. 84,which indicates that the random forest algorithm had higher classification accuracy and better applicability in Hainan C. nudiflora recognition.② The overall accuracy of extracting C. nudiflora with the dimension reduction feature was 90. 4,and the Kappa coefficient was 0. 85,which indicates that the random forest algorithm can effectively select features. At the same time as the feature variable data mining, the precision of the information extraction of the C. nudiflora was still guaranteed, and the operation efficiency was improved. This study provides a new idea, method and technical means for information extraction of cultivated medicinal plant resources in terms of feature selection and method selection.

RESUMO

In order to solve the problem of manual area measurement, the traditional methods of medicinal planting area statistics are difficult to meet the needs of rapid area survey application. This paper uses the UAV remote sensing method with the advantages of unmanned, automatic, high efficiency, high score and short production cycle to monitor the shape of Callicarpa nudiflora. A solution for aerial photography, image data acquisition and data processing of drones were designed for characteristics and planting conditions. After data processing and statistical analysis, detailed information on the location and area of the C. nudiflora in the target area was obtained. Then the accuracy comparison analysis was carried out with the measured results of the C. nudiflora. The results show that the UAV is feasible for the monitoring of C. nudiflora, and has a good application prospect in the monitoring of Chinese herbal medicine planting.

RESUMO

In recent years, with deepening research on the division of traditional Chinese medicine, the application of new technologies and new methods have provided support for the division of traditional Chinese medicine. Some relevant scholars have carried out researches on the distribution of some Chinese herbal medicines based on different methods. In this paper, for the same kind of Chinese herbal medicine under different data conditions,we studied the distribution of Polygoni Multiflori Radix by different methods such as qualitative description, similar ecological environment and niche model, and compared the similarities and differences between the distribution results of the same Chinese medicine resources based on different data and methods. The results showed that with the restriction of the researcher's understanding of Chinese herbal medicines and related background data, the zoning results were also in various forms, and there might also be some differences between different zoning results. But in the macroscopic layer, they could reflect the distribution range of Chinese herbal medicines, and they have certain application values to some extent. For example, the study focused on the ancient and modern data and found that with the continuous enrichment of data and information, the understanding of the distribution of Polygoni Multiflori Radix gradually expanded from the southeast coast to the central and southwestern regions to the northwest. But the number of Polygoni Multiflori Radix in the western and northern regions is relatively small than the southeastern regions. The results of relevant zoning can provide scientific basis for carrying out the rational cultivation of Polygoni Multiflori Radix.

RESUMO

In this paper, the fingerprint of different varieties of chrysanthemum were established with " Similarity Evaluation System for Chromatographic Fingerprint of Chinese Materia Medica" and the content of chlorogenic acid, galuteolin and 3,5-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid in 29 batches of different varieties of chrysanthemum in Futianhe town,Huangtugang town and Wuhan city were compared. At the same time, similarity evaluation and common peak clustering analysis were carried out. There were 11 common peaks in the fingerprints of 29 batches of different varieties of chrysanthemum, and the similarity ranged from 0. 802 to 0. 975. Hangju and Gongju were divided into one group by cluster analysis, and Huangju into another category. The established fingerprint method provides a basis for the identification of chrysanthemum cultivars. The content of 29 batches of chlorogenic acid was between 4. 092 and 11. 723 mg·g-1,luteolin was between 1. 010 and 11. 713 mg·g-1,and 3,5-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid was between 8. 828 and 33. 435 mg·g-1,both reach the pharmacopoeia standard, but the effective components of different varieties of chrysanthemum were quite different. Based on the contents of three active ingredients and the diversity of fingerprint peaks, the quality of the characteristic germplasm resource of local Fubaijuin Macheng is superior, and the protection of local characteristic germplasm resource should be strengthened in production.

RESUMO

Aiming at the phenomenon of heavy metal Cd exceeding the standard of Chuanxiong medicinal materials, the accumulation of 12 inorganic elements, including heavy metals,in Ligusticum chuanxiong was studied in this paper. It was found that the contents and distribution of most inorganic elements in the stems and leaves of L. chuanxiong were higher than those in the rhizomes at seedling and shooting stages. The content of most elements in rhizome reached the highest at harvest stage, and the distribution ratio of some elements in rhizome was higher than that in stem and leaf at harvest stage. But rhizome, stem and leaf of L. chuanxiong have relatively stable absorption capacity and enrichment effect on different elements, and are less affected by growth period and position. Rhizomes and stems and leaves of L. chuanxiong were enriched with Cd,and stems and leaves also accumulated Pb at seedling stage and stem stage. The absorption capacity of Pb in stems and leaves of L. chuanxiong was higher than that of rhizomes, and the ability of absorbing Cd was less than that of rhizomes at harvest time. The total uptake of Cd and Pb by L. chuanxiong decreased with the prolongation of growth time, but the proportion of Cd and Pb in rhizome increased,so that the content of Cd and Pb increased with the prolongation of growth time.

RESUMO

Rhizosphere bacteria play a vital role in plant nutrition absorption, growth and disease resistance. In this study,high-throughput sequencing technology was used to analyze the rhizosphere bacterial communities of Salvia miltiorrhiza and S. miltiorrhiza f. alba. Moreover, the function of dominant rhizosphere bacterial communities was analyzed. We found that Sphingobacteriales,Sphingomonadales and Nitrosomonadaceae were both dominant and specific bacteria in the rhizosphere of S. miltiorrhiza. The main functions of dominant rhizosphere bacteria communities in both species include promoting transformation of soil nutrients, improving plant immunity and ability of stress tolerance. This study was the first to compare rhizobacterial communities structure and function of S. miltiorrhiza and S. miltiorrhiza f. alba, which provided a new theoretical reference for studing the rhizosphere mechanism of healthy S. miltiorrhiza planting in the future.

RESUMO

Lycii Fructus is a commonly used Chinese herbal medicine. Due to limited wild resources,Lycii Fructus is mainly derived from the cultivation of Lycium barbarum when it circulate in the market. Related studies have shown that there are some differences in the quality of Lycii Fructus from different regions. In August 2017,our research team went to the county areas of Ningxia,Gansu,Qinghai,Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia, which included 13 counties and planted L. barbarum. The county areas obtained 71 batches of samples. According to the content of four chemical components of polysaccharides, protein, vitamins and naringin in 71 batches, the quality of zoning was studied by SPSS and Arc GIS. The results showed that there were significant differences in the contents of polysaccharides, protein, vitamins and naringin in the sampling area. Among them, the vitamin content in Inner Mongolia was relatively high. The content of polysaccharide in Xingjiang was relatively high, the protein content of Ningxia was relatively high. The content of naringin in Inner Mongolia was relatively high. The quality of Lycii Fructus from different producing areas requires a comprehensive evaluation of multiple indicators. Through the analysis of the four chemical components and the eco-environmental factors, the chemical composition with high percentage of percentage content is affected by climatic factors, and the chemical composition with low proportion is greatly affected by soil factors. The literatures such as " Chinese Flora" are mostly recorded that L. barbarum are planted in the northwest and south central areas. There is no record of artificial planting L. barbarum in the northeast region. Through this study,it is found that Liaoning and Jilin province also have a small amount of L. barbarum cultivated. The result shows that in the middle temperature zone and warm temperature zone there are also the cultivation of L. barbarum.

RESUMO

Although smoke-isolated karrikins (KAR1) could regulate secondary metabolism in medicinal plants, the signal transduction mechanism has not been reported. This study highlights the influence of KAR1 on tanshinone I (T-I) production in Salvia miltiorrhiza and the involved signal molecules. Results showed KAR1-induced generation of nitric oxide (NO), jasmonic acid (JA) and T-I in S. miltiorrhiza hairy root. KAR1-induced increase of T-I was suppressed by NO-specific scavenger (cPTIO) and NOS inhibitors (PBITU); JA synthesis inhibitor (SHAM) and JA synthesis inhibitor (PrGall), which indicated that NO and JA play essential roles in KAR1-induced T-I. NO inhibitors inhibited KAR1-induced generation of NO and JA, suggesting NO was located upstream of JA signal pathway. NO-induced T-I production was inhibited by SHAM and PrGall, implying JA participated in transmitting signal NO to T-I accumulation. In other words, NO mediated the KAR1-induced T-I production through a JA-dependent signaling pathway. The results helped us understand the signal transduction mechanism involved in KAR1-induced T-I production and provided helpful information for the production of S. miltiorrhiza hairy root.

RESUMO

Nowadays, the cultivation of traditional Chinese medicinal materials is faced with the problems of pesticides illegal uses and pesticides residues. In the early period of eco-agriculture of Chinese materia medica, the uses of pesticides in special time is still inevitable. However, the registration of pesticides for Chinese medicinal materials now is far from enough to meet demand. So it is necessary to publish policies to expand the pesticides registration for Chinese medicinal materials. We collected and analyzed the data of pesticide registration for Chinese medicinal materials, the results showed that till March 2018, there were 10 kinds of Chinese medicinal materials, 91 pesticide products and 46 kinds of pesticide ingredients registered. Based on the current status of the pesticide management in China and the experience of the registration pesticide for minor crops in countries around the world, we point out that the pesticide registration for Chinese medicinal materials should be carried out in the form of minor crops and some specific methods are also provided in this paper.

RESUMO

A headspace solid-phase microextraction gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (HS-SPME-GC-MS) method was developed and optimized for qualitative and semi quantitative analysis of volatile components from Schisandra propinqua, a kind of Yi Nationality herb medicine. This method was used for analysis and evaluation of volatile components from S.propinqua from four different geometrical origins (Yunnan Wuding, Yunnan Luoping, Guizhou Qingzhen and Hubei Shennongjia). 51, 53, 52, 50 compounds were identified from the above four kinds of samples respectively, in which 46 volatile components were contained in all of these four origins. The volatile components in these samples from different geographical origins were then compared by using principal component analysis, cluster analysis and other chemometrics methods. The results suggested that the analysis of volatile components can be used to distinguish the S.propinqua from four origins, and those samples from close geographical origins were more similar in volatile components. The developed method was stable, reliable, and suitable for rapid analysis of volatile components from S.propinqua, providing reference for quality control, drug development and scientific utilization of the herb.

RESUMO

At the end of 2017, the former China Food and Drug Administration promulgated " the Guiding Principles for the Assessment of Chinese Medicine Resources" whose purpose is establishing the concept of " the production of Chinese traditional medicines, herbal pieces and etc. should be based on the premise of ensuring the production and quality of Chinese medicine resources" for a licensed holder of a drug listing or a production enterprise of Chinese Medicine by assessing this work through the resources of Chinese Medicine which finally achieves the strategic significance of promoting the sustainable utilization of Chinese medicine resources. Under the guidance of the overall idea of "the total amount is not reduced and the supply is guaranteed", this paper focuses on the following two methods of assessment: ①"family property assessment" of Chinese medicine resources based on "fixed total amount". ② "Supply and demand balance assessment" of Chinese medicine resources based on "supply guarantee". In this paper, we discuss the difference and relationship between the national survey of Chinese medicine resources and the assessment of Chinese medicine resources. Finally, we put forward a basic strategy called" supply and demand balance assessment" of Chinese medicine resources based on "supply guarantee" that will guide the Industrial production of traditional Chinese medicine.

RESUMO

Siraitia grosvenorii, vine plant of Cucurbitaceae family, has been used as natural sweetener and folk medicine. The major components and sweet substances are both known as mogrosides which are cucurbitane-type tetra-triterpenoids. Squalene epoxidase (SQE) has been generally recognized as the common rate-limiting enzyme in triterpenes and phytosterols, catalyzing into their common precursor 2,3-oxidosqualene (OS); however, in the biosynthesis of mogrosides, the precursor was 2,3,22,23-dioxidosqualene (DOS) instead of OS. To explore the specific SQE in S. grosvenorii, we cloned two full-length SQEs (SgSQE1, SgSQE2), performed bioinformatic analysis, analyzed the expression patterns in different periods of fruits by Real-time PCR, and induced the prokaryotic expressions. Finally, the interactive sites between SQE and substrate were predicted by docking, which would provide evidence for SQE gene function study of mogrosides and also lay foundation for triterpene biosynthesis in other plants. SgSQE1 and SgSQE2 both encoded predicted proteins of 524 amino acids, and shared 84% identity to each other at residues level, but had high specificity at N-terminal region. They both accumulated in fruits, but with different patterns, SgSQE1 increased rapidly and reached the highest level at 15 d, which had identical co-expression pattern with cucurbitadienol synthase (CS). SgSQE2 had a relatively constant level. The docking results showed that predicted proteins of SgSQE1 and SgSQE2 can interact with OS, with different contact sites (R348 for SgSQE1, H349 for SgSQE2). The recombinant proteins had no activities by prokaryotic expression, which were caused by transmembrane regions. However, all the results strongly suggested that SgSQEs were both involved in secondary metabolites biosynthesis in S. grosvenorii. SgSQE1 might be involved in mogrosides biosynthesis and SgSQE2 might participate in other cucurbitane-type triterpenes or phytosterols biosynthesis.

RESUMO

The seventy samples of Polygoni Multiflori Radix were collected from three producing areas: Bozhou, Anhui province, Jingmen, Hubei province and Xichang, Sichuan province. Three stable isotope ratios and contents of 44 elements in the Polygoni Multiflori Radix samples were determined by EA-IR-MS and HR-ICP-MS. Three data mining methods, including partial least square discriminant analysis (PLS-DA), fisher linear discriminant analysis (FLDA) and decision tree CHAID were employed to establish a model for geographical origin discrimination. The study results showed that the stable isotope ratios expressed significant difference followed with the different producing areas, and will be used to discern the samples from different producing areas, effectively. Combined with the data of elemental analysis, the accuracy rates of model can be further improved. All the three methods showed the accuracy rates of external sample were over 90% using training dataset. These results confirmed that stable isotope ratios and multi-elemental analysis combined with chemometric method was effectiv in geographical tracing of Polygoni Multiflori Radix. The analysis method has great potential and prospect in geographical origin discriminant of Chinese medicinal materials, and provids a new study method to identify origin information of Chinese medicinal materials.

RESUMO

This paper comprehensively analyses the background and meaning of The Technological Guiding Principle for Assessment of Chinese Medicine Resources enacted by the former CFDA ( China Food and Drug Administration), moreover, it also points out that the Chinese medicine resources assessment with the purpose of guaranteeing the sustainable supplying capacity of Chinese medicine resources is the premise of new drug development; the Chinese medicine resources assessment which takes quality guarantee as the core is a significant action to promote the fixing of place of origin and quality-management antedisplacement for the traditional Chinese medicine industry; in this regard, the Chinese medicine resources assessment which aims at realizing the whole-process traceability is the key to building the high-quality modern traditional Chinese medicine brand. The Chinese medicine resources assessment which takes the classical prescription as the entry point is the embodiment of the protection of traditional Chinese medicine resources and international vision of regulation, which aims at clarifying the thinking for the relevant enterprises to carry out the Chinese medicine resources assessment. Base on the general thinking of ensuring that the "total amount of Chinese medicine resources is fixed and the supply is guaranteed", this paper clarifies two methods of Chinese medicine resources assessment: "family property assessment" of Chinese medicine resources based on "fixed total amount", "supply and demand balance assessment" of Chinese medicine resources based on "supply guarantee". In this regard, the basic strategy of "supply and demand balance assessment" of Chinese medicine resources based on "guaranteed supply" is put forward and it is believed that the resources assessment will lead to the significant adjustment of traditional Chinese medicinal materials production. It becomes the only way for the development of various Chinese medicine production enterprises to realize the comprehensive improvement of Chinese medicine quality, brand construction, the establishment of preferential price mechanism.

RESUMO

The Harpin protein Hpa1 can induce defense responses in plant. This study aimed at investigating the role of jasmonate (JA) signal pathway in the process of biosynthesis of secondary metabolite in Sorbus aucuparia cell eliciting by Hpa1 crude extract (Hpa1 CE). The results showed that Hpa1 crude extract (Hpa1 CE) could induce phytoalexin synthesis in S. aucuparia cell, most of which was noraucuparin and its glycosides. Meanwhile Hpa1 CE treatment resulted in methyl jasmonate (MeJA) production increased and noraucuparin was de novo synthesized in large quantities. Combination of Hpa1 CE and salicylhydroxamic acid (SHAM, JA signaling inhibitor) caused the decreased MeJA and noraucuparin in the S. aucuparia cell compared with that in Hpa1 CE group. Real-time PCR results indicated that Hpa1 CE treatment caused down-regulation of JAZ and up-regulation of mcy2 in transcription level. Therefore Hpa1 CE elicited defense mechanism and JA signaling pathway involved in phytoalexin biosynthesis in S. aucuparia cell. It presented information to elucidate the role of JA signal pathway in stress response in the perspective of secondary metabolism of plant.

RESUMO

Danshen (Salvia miltiorrhiza) is a perennial herbal plant as a bulk commodity of traditional Chinese medicinal material. With the growing market demand, the planting scale of Danshen has been fast enlarged. The occurance of diseases on Danshen has become as a major threaten of its production. Root diseases are most devastated on Danshen. Rootrot is the most important disease, and Fusarium wilt comes second. Leaf spot occurs most on aerial part of Danshen. In the Danshen industry, the chemical control is most commonly used, with biological agents as supplements. This review summarized the symptom, pathogen, epidemiology, and control method of 7 diseases on Danshen (rootrot, Fusarium wilt, southern blight, root knot nematode, leaf spot, leaf red and virus diseases), providing guidelines for disease diagnostics, pathogen isolation and identification, proper pesticide application and integrated control.
