RESUMO

We report a new protocol for the fluoroalkylation of alkenes and alkynes by using 2-bromophenol as a catalyst. This reaction can be tailored for different reaction modes by altering the base and solvent, which feature a wide substrate scope and excellent functional group tolerance with high chemo- and regioselectivities. We further propose a mechanism involving an electron donor-acceptor (EDA) complex.

RESUMO

Atom transfer radical addition and Heck-type reaction between alkenes and ethyl iododifluoroacetate by using organophosphine compounds as catalysts have been developed. The reaction proceeds under mild reaction conditions with excellent functional group tolerance and high chemo- and regioselectivities. Mechanistic study indicates that the reaction might be initiated via noncovalent interactions between an organophosphine catalyst and a carbon-iodine bond.

In recent years, with the high incidence of lung cancer and mortality, the disease-relevant mental health problems such as depression began to attract attention. A growing number of studies have also begun to hypothesize and confirm the relationship between depression and survival or mortality in patients with lung cancer, and have made some progress in basic research, prospective cohort research and intervention research. In basic research, cancer can cause depression due to mediating the production of inflammatory factors, and the genotype of tumor epidermis growth factor receptor (EGFR) can explain the high mortality and risk of depression in patients with lung cancer from a certain point of view. Different studies in prospective cohort studies argue that depression is an important predictor of survival in patients with lung cancer and need to be further studied. In the aspect of intervention research, although some studies have confirmed the potential of antidepressants in anti-tumor oxidative therapy, there is no enough evidence in psychological intervention and drug intervention to prove their effectiveness in improving the survival outcome of lung cancer. In the future, it is necessary to further explore the possible mechanisms for antidepressants and psychological intervention to improve the survival time of the patients.

BACKGROUND: Land preparation is an important component of fragrant rice production. However, the effect of tillage on fragrant rice production is unclear, especially regarding the biosynthesis of 2-acetyl-1-pyrroline (2-AP), which is the main compound of the unique aroma of fragrant rice. This study aimed to explore 2-AP biosynthesis in fragrant rice under different tillage regimes. Three tillage methods were applied in the present study: conventional rotary tillage (CK) as the control, plough tillage (PT), and no-tillage (NT). RESULT: Compared with CK, the PT treatment increased 2-AP content in grain, upregulated the activity of ornithine aminotransferase (OAT) and increased contents of 1-pyrroline and pyrroline-5-carboxylic acid (P5C). Furthermore, the PT treatment increased the grain yield and nitrogen accumulation of fragrant rice. Meanwhile, the 2-AP content in the grain produced under the NT treatment was significantly higher than that in the grain produced under both the PT and CK treatments due to the enhancement of proline content and the activities of proline dehydrogenase (PDH) and △1-pyrroline-5-carboxylic acid synthetase (P5CS). However, the present study observed that the overall production of fragrant rice under NT conditions was inferior due to lower yield, nitrogen accumulation, and anti-oxidative enzymatic activities. Moreover, the organic matter content and soil microorganism quantity increased due to PT and NT treatments. CONCLUSIONS: Compared to CK, PT improved fragrant rice grain yield and nitrogen accumulation and induced an increase in OAT activity and led to an increase in 2-AP concentration. No-tillage also produced increased 2-AP content in grain by enhancing PDH and P5CS activities but limited yields and nitrogen accumulation in fragrant rice.

This study aims to observe the intervention effects of Chinese herbal medicine of supplementing Qi and activating blood circulation on chronic intermittent hypoxia(CIH) composite insulin resistance(IR) mediated atherosclerosis(AS) mice model,and to observe the mechanism of SREBP-1 c signaling molecule.IR Apo E-/-mice model was induced by high-fat diet combined with STZ injection.Then the mice were treated with hypoxic animal incubator for 8 h per day and 8 weeks to establish a CIH+IR-ApoE-/-mouse model.Model mice were randomly and averagely divided into normoxic control group(NC),model group(CIH) and SREBPs inhibitor group(betulin),atorvastatin group(WM),TCM low-dose group(TCM-L),TCM middle-dose group(TCM-M) and TCM high-dose group(TCM-H) group.Chinese herbal medicine of supplementing Qi and activating blood circulation including ginsenosides combined with ligustrazine(TMP) were used as intervention drugs.The study observed the effect of drugs on IR,serum lipid,inflammation,stress,AS and SREBP-1 c related molecules.The results showed that fasting blood glucose in TCM-H group decreased compared with other experimental groups(P<0.05).HDL-C level in betulin group,WM group,TCM-H group was higher than that in CIH group(P<0.05).LDL-C level in TCM-M group,TCM-H group is lower than that in CIH group(P<0.05).The level of CRP in CIH group was higher than that in other groups(P<0.05).The level of SOD in TCM-H group was higher than that in CIH group(P<0.05).NC group and CIH group showed obvious AS aortic plaque,while betulin group,WM group,TCM-H group showed reduction in AS plaque(P<0.05).For descending aorta,AS plaque in CIH group was multiple and large,while less and smaller in WM group and TCM-H(P<0.05).The expression of SREBP-1 c and FAS in aorta and skeletal muscle in TCM-H group was lower than that in CIH group(P<0.05).In aorta,the expression of TNF-α and CD106(VCAM-1) was lower in TCM-H group than that in CIH group(P<0.05).In aorta,skeletal muscle and liver,the level of p-IRS-1 in TCM-H group was significantly higher than that in CIH group(P<0.05).In aorta and liver,the expression of HIF-1α in TCM-H group was lower than that in CIH group(P<0.05).The study demonstrated that combination ginsenosides with TMP could improve IR and serum lipid level and inhibit inflammation and oxidative stress as well as ultimately alleviate AS to some extent.And the mechanism of its interventional effects might be related to the inhibition of CIH-induced upregulation of SREBP-1 c related molecules.

Objective: The aim of this study was to establish a 3T3-L1 adipocyte model and ApoE-/- mouse model of intermittent hypoxia (IH) composite abnormal glucose metabolism (AGM) in vitro and in vivo and explore their synergistic damage effect leading to atherosclerosis (AS) and the influence of SREBP-1 signaling molecule-related mechanisms. Methods: Mature 3T3-L1 adipocytes were cultured with complete culture medium containing DEX 1 × 106 mol/L for 96 h to establish an AGM-3T3-L1 adipocyte model. Then, AGM-3T3-L1 adipocytes were treated with IH for 0 cycles, 2 cycles, 4 cycles, 8 cycles, 16 cycles, and 32 cycles and sustained hypoxia (SH). ApoE-/- mice were treated with high-fat diet and injection of STZ solution to establish an AGM-ApoE-/- mouse model. A total of 16 AGM-ApoE-/- mice were randomly and averagely divided into the normoxic control group (NC) and model group (CIH). AGM-ApoE-/- mice of the CIH group were treated with IH, which meant that the oxygen concentration fell to 10 ± 0.5% in the first 90 seconds of one cycle and then increased to 21 ± 0.5% in the later 90 seconds, continuous for eight hours per day (09 : 00-17 : 00) with a total of eight weeks. Eight C57BL/6J mice were used as the blank control group (Con) which was fed with conventional diet. qPCR and Western blotting were used to detect the expression level of SREBP-1c, FAS, and IRS-1. Oil Red O staining was used to compare the plaque of the aorta among each mouse group. Results: As a result, within 32 cycles of IH, mRNA and protein expression levels of SREBP-1c and FAS in AGM-3T3-L1 adipocytes were elevated with the increase in IH cycles; the mRNA expression of IRS-1 was decreased after IH 32 cycles and lower than that of the SH group. For the study in vivo, Oil Red O staining showed a more obvious AS aortic plaque in the CIH group. After CIH treatment of 4 w and 8 w, fasting blood glucose (FBG) of the NC group and CIH group was higher than that of the Con group, and the insulin level of the CIH group was higher than that of the Con group after IH treatment of 8 w. The expressions of the IRS-1 mRNA level in the aorta, skeletal muscle, and liver of the CIH group were lower than those in the Con group. The mRNA and protein expression of SREBP-1c and its downstream molecule FAS in the aorta, skeletal muscle, and liver significantly enhanced in the CIH group in contrast with those in the Con group. Conclusion: The CIH composite AGM could promote the progress of AS, which might be related to the modulation of the expression of SREBP-1-related molecular pathways.

PURPOSE: This study aimed to explore the associated factors of spiritual well-being among cancer patients and the relationship between spiritual well-being (SWB) and quality of life (QOL). METHODS: This cross-sectional study was conducted in 200 Chinese cancer patients in a tertiary cancer hospital. Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-General (FACT-G) and the Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy-Spiritual Well-being (FACIT-Sp) were used to measure SWB and QOL levels of participants. Multiple regression analyses were performed to determine the relationship between SWB and QOL. RESULTS: The mean score of QOL was 59.8 (SD 13.1) with a range of 27-106. The mean score of SWB was 24.4 (SD 6.5), with a range of 8-48. Hospitalization frequency was the only variable associated with SWB. In terms of the relationship between SWB and QOL, the meaning and peace subscales were significantly related to overall QOL. It was also observed that the meaning subscale was positively related to social/family well-being, emotional well-being, and functional well-being. The peace subscale was related to the physical well-being, social/family well-being, and functional well-being. Faith was negatively related to physical and emotional well-being, but it had a positive effect on functional well-being. CONCLUSIONS: Given that the meaning and peace subscales are related to a higher QOL level, it is important to find ways to improve these dimensions of spiritual well-being among cancer inpatients during treatment.

With a long-term nutrition goal for healthy aging, the aim of this study was to compare the bioavailability of amino acids, in particular the leucine, after the ingestion of two solid and isocaloric dairy products (cheese) based either on whey or on caseins, by using pig as an in vivo digestion model. The whey-based cheese contained 25% more leucine than Mozzarella, however its digestion by pigs resulted in a concentration of postprandial plasma leucine between 2 h and 5 h30 twice higher than that produced during the digestion of Mozzarella. Noting that the dry matter of the duodenal effluents were similar after each of the two cheese meals, differences in gastric emptying would not explain the difference in leucine bioavailability. These results suggest the possibility of stimulating more efficiently the muscle synthesis in elderly people with cheese based on whey proteins rather than those based on caseins.

PURPOSE: Spiritual needs are important for many patients with life-limiting illnesses. Knowledge of spiritual needs is a first step to their fulfillment; however, such knowledge is lacking for patients with cancer in mainland China. This study evaluated spiritual needs among patients with cancer in China and analyzed their associations with demographic and clinical characteristics. METHODS: A descriptive, cross-sectional study was performed. A general information questionnaire and a Chinese version of the Spiritual Needs Scale were used to collect information about patients with cancer. A total of 200 participants were recruited, and 182 completed the survey. RESULTS: The overall average spiritual needs score was 3.15. Of five dimensions investigated, the highest and lowest scores were for "hope and peace" (mean = 3.31) and "relationship with transcendence" (mean = 2.96). Of specific needs, "to be accepted," "to take responsibility for my life," and "to alleviate my suffering" (means = 3.36-3.38) were valued as most important by participants. "To talk to someone," "to pray and participate in religious rituals and services," and "to feel God with me during my struggle against disease" (means = 2.71-2.91) were considered least important. Participants' spiritual needs differed significantly according to disease stage (p < 0.001), time since diagnosis (p = 0.002), and hospitalization frequency (p = 0.004). CONCLUSIONS: The spiritual needs of patients with cancer should receive more attention in China. Effective assessment tools and procedures should be established to evaluate the spiritual needs of patients and formulate appropriate interventions at an early stage.

A method for the determination of 37 fatty acids in natural cream and artificial cream was developed by comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC×GC-MS). The samples were extracted with toluene and acetyl chloride-methanol (1:9,v/v) solution was added to the extract for fat esterification. Finally, the fatty acids were analyzed by GC×GC-MS. The GC conditions were as follows:a DB-5 column (30 m×0.25 mm×0.25 µm) was set as the 1st dimensional column and a BPX-50 column (2.5 m×0.1 mm×0.25 µm) was the 2nd dimensional column. The primary oven temperature was programmed from 50℃ (held for 2 min) to 180℃ at a rate of 20℃/min, followed by an increase to 250℃ at 2.5℃/min, then raised up to 300℃ (held for 5 min) at 3℃/min. The ion source temperature was 200℃ with auxiliary temperature of 300℃ in scan mode. All fatty acids were separated effectively and determined accurately while the modulation period was 5s and the scan range of MS was m/z 40-385. This procedure was applied to analyze the fatty acids in commercial natural cream and artificial cream from Chinese markets, among which we found the characteristic components in different kinds of samples. Compared with gas chromatography-flame ionization detector (GC-FID), GC×GC-MS method was more sensitive and more components of fatty acids were detected. Conclusively, this work suggests a new technical approach in analyzing fatty acids in natural cream and artificial cream, which is meaningful to ensure the quality identification and safety of natural cream.

LSD1 (Lysine Specific Demethylase1)/KDM1A (Lysine Demethylase 1A), a flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD)-dependent histone H3K4/K9 demethylase, sustains oncogenic potential of leukemia stem cells in primary human leukemia cells. However, the pro-differentiation and anti-proliferation effects of LSD1 inhibition in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) are not yet fully understood. Here, we report that small hairpin RNA (shRNA) mediated LSD1 inhibition causes a remarkable transcriptional activation of myeloid lineage marker genes (CD11b/ITGAM and CD86), reduction of cell proliferation and decrease of clonogenic ability of human AML cells. Cell surface expression of CD11b and CD86 is significantly and dynamically increased in human AML cells upon sustained LSD1 inhibition. Chromatin immunoprecipitation and quantitative PCR (ChIP-qPCR) analyses of histone marks revealed that there is a specific increase of H3K4me2 modification and an accompanied increase of H3K4me3 modification at the respective CD11b and CD86 promoter region, whereas the global H3K4me2 level remains constant. Consistently, inhibition of LSD1 in vivo significantly blocks tumor growth and induces a prominent increase of CD11b and CD86. Taken together, our results demonstrate the anti-tumor properties of LSD1 inhibition on human AML cell line and mouse xenograft model. Our findings provide mechanistic insights into the LSD1 functions in controlling both differentiation and proliferation in AML.

OBJECTIVE: Parkinson's disease (PD) is featured with motor disorder and nonmotor manifestations including psychological symptoms, autonomic nervous system dysfunction, and paresthesia, which results in great inconvenience to the patients' life. The apolipoprotein (Apo) superfamily, as a group of potentially modifiable biomarkers in clinical practice, is of increasing significance in the diagnosis, evaluation, and prognosis of PD. The present review summarized the current understanding and emerging findings of the relationship between Apo superfamily and PD. DATA SOURCES: All literatures were identified by systematically searching PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane electronic databases with terms "Parkinson disease," "apolipoprotein," and their synonyms until May 2017. STUDY SELECTION: We have thoroughly examined titles and abstracts of all the literatures that met our search strategy and the full text if the research is identified or not so definite. Reference lists of retrieved articles were also scrutinized for additional relevant studies. RESULTS: The levels of plasma ApoA1 are inversely correlated with the risk of PD and the lower levels of ApoA1 trend toward association with poorer motor performance. Higher ApoD expression in neurons represents more puissant protection against PD, which is critical in delaying the neurodegeneration process of PD. It is suggested that APOE alleles are related to development and progression of cognitive decline and age of PD onset, but conclusions are not completely identical, which may be attributed to different ApoE isoforms. APOJ gene expressions are upregulated in PD patients and it is possible that high ApoJ level is an indicator of PD dementia and correlates with specific phenotypic variations in PD. CONCLUSIONS: The Apo superfamily has been proved to be closely involved in the initiation, progression, and prognosis of PD. Apos and their genes are of great value in predicting the susceptibility of PD and hopeful to become the target of medical intervention to prevent the onset of PD or slow down the progress. Therefore, further large-scale studies are warranted to elucidate the precise mechanisms of Apos in PD.

OBJECTIVE: To provide a comprehensive and latest overview of susceptibility-weighted imaging (SWI) in the application of thrombolysis in acute ischemic stroke, and to update the decision-making effect and clinical value of SWI on identifying stroke patients suitable for thrombolytic therapy and possible benefits and risks followed. DATA SOURCES: Literatures referred to this review were collected from PubMed, Medline, and EMBASE published till May 2017, using the search terms including susceptibility-weighted imaging, gradient-echo, T2*, thrombolysis, recombinant tissue plasminogen activator (rt-PA), thrombolytic therapy, and stroke. STUDY SELECTION: Papers in English or with available English abstracts were considered, with no limitation of study design. References were also identified from the bibliographies of identified articles and the authors' files. RESULTS: SWI is of guiding significance for thrombolytic therapy in stroke patients, it can predict the location and length of thrombus and ischemic penumbra. It is worthy of noting that susceptibility vessel sign (SVS) on SWI can be used to predict recanalization after thrombolytic therapy and whether it is better to implement endovascular thrombolectomy in combination or alone. SWI is sensitive in detecting cerebral microbleed (CMB), and CMB might not be a contraindication for thrombolytic therapy, yet CMBs in multiple foci could possibly be related to intracranial hemorrhage (ICH) after thrombolysis. SVS and CMB on SWI sequence are of instructive value in performing antiplatelet therapy after thrombolytic therapy. Cerebral venous change on SWI is related to lower recanalization rate and poor outcome after thrombolysis. CONCLUSIONS: It seems that SWI can be applied to guide individualized thrombolytic therapies and assist clinicians in making better decisions by weighing benefits and risks. However, there still exist controversies about the relationship between signs on SWI and thrombolytic therapy.

Fragile X syndrome (FXS) is a generally hereditary form of human mental retardation that is caused by triplet repeat expansion (CGG) mutation in fragile X mental retardation 1 (fmr1) gene promoter and that results in the absence of the fragile X mental retardation protein (FMRP) expression. The common symptoms of FXS patients include learning disabilities, anxiety, autistic behaviors, as well as other behavioral abnormalities. Our previous results demonstrated the behavioral abnormalities in fmr1 knockout (KO) zebrafish such as fear memory impairment and autism-like behavior. Here, we studied the functional role of fmr1 gene on the development of social behavior by behavioral experiments, including shoaling behavior, shoaling preference, light/dark test, and novel tank task. Our results demonstrated that precocious development of shoaling behavior is found in fmr1 KO zebrafish without affecting the shoaling preference on conspecific zebrafish. The shoaling behavior appeared after 14 days postfertilization (dpf), and the level of shoaling elevated in fmr1 KO zebrafish. Furthermore, the fmr1 KO zebrafish at 28 dpf expressed higher anxiety level in novel tank task. These results suggest that the change of shoaling behavior in fmr1 KO zebrafish may result from hyperactivity and an increase of anxiety.

Coconut (Cocos nucifera L.) is a key tropical crop and a member of the monocotyledonous family Arecaceae (Palmaceae). Few genes and related metabolic processes involved in coconut endosperm development have been investigated. In this study, a new member of the WRI1 gene family was isolated from coconut endosperm and was named CoWRI1. Its transcriptional activities and interactions with the acetyl-CoA carboxylase (BCCP2) promoter of CoWRI1 were confirmed by the yeast two-hybrid and yeast one-hybrid approaches, respectively. Functional characterization was carried out through seed-specific expression in Arabidopsis and endosperm-specific expression in rice. In transgenic Arabidopsis, high over-expressions of CoWRI1 in seven independent T2 lines were detected by quantitative real-time PCR. The relative mRNA accumulation of genes encoding enzymes involved in either fatty acid biosynthesis or triacylglycerols assembly (BCCP2, KASI, MAT, ENR, FATA, and GPDH) were also assayed in mature seeds. Furthermore, lipid and fatty acids C16:0 and C18:0 significantly increased. In two homozygous T2 transgenic rice lines (G5 and G2), different CoWRI1 expression levels were detected, but no CoWRI1 transcripts were detected in the wild type. Analyses of the seed oil content, starch content, and total protein content indicated that the two T2 transgenic lines showed a significant increase (P < 0.05) in seed oil content. The transgenic lines also showed a significant increase in starch content, whereas total protein content decreased significantly. Further analysis of the fatty acid composition revealed that palmitic acid (C16:0) and linolenic acid (C18:3) increased significantly in the seeds of the transgenic rice lines, but oleic acid (C18:1) levels significantly declined.

The elongation factor suppressor of Ty 5 homolog (Spt5) is a regulator of transcription and histone methylation. In humans, phosphorylation of SPT5 by P-TEFb, a protein kinase composed of Cyclin-dependent kinase 9 (CDK9) and cyclin T, interacts with the RNA polymerase II-associated factor1 (PAF1) complex. However, the mechanism of SPT5 phosphorylation is not well understood in plants. Here, we examine the function of SPT5 in Arabidopsis thaliana and find that spt5 mutant flowers early under long-day and short-day conditions. SPT5 interacts with the CDK-activating kinase 4 (CAK4; CDKD;2) and is specifically phosphorylated by CDKD;2 at threonines. The phosphorylated SPT5 binds VERNALIZATION INDEPENDENCE5 (VIP5), a subunit of the PAF1 complex. Genetic analysis showed that VIP5 acts downstream of SPT5 and CDKD;2 Loss of SPT5 or CDKD;2 function results in early flowering because of decreased amounts of FLOWERING LOCUS C (FLC) transcript. Importantly, CDKD;2 and SPT5 are required for the deposition of VIP5 and the enhancement of trimethylation of histone 3 lysine 4 in the chromatin of the FLC locus. Together, our results provide insight into the mechanism by which the Arabidopsis elongation factor SPT5 recruits the PAF1 complex via the posttranslational modification of proteins and suggest that the phosphorylation of SPT5 by CDKD;2 enables it to recruit VIP5 to regulate chromatin and transcription in Arabidopsis.

OBJECTIVE: To explore the protective role of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) on attenuating hydrogen peroxide-induced injury in cultured rat myoblasts. METHODS: Cultured rat myoblasts at growth phase were randomly divided into four groups (n=6):control group (control), bFGF group (bFGF), model group(H2O2) and the treatment group (bFGF + H2O2). Model group was treated with 100 µmol/L hydrogen peroxide for 4h. B-cell lymphoma-2 (Bcl-2) positive particles were detected by immunohistochemistry; Reactive oxygen species (ROS) and expression for Bcl-2 associated X protein (Bax), Bcl-2 and Cytochrome C (Cyt. C) fluorescence were observed under the invented microscope; Cyt. C and Poly ADP-ribose polymerase(PARP)protein were assessed by Western blot. RESULTS: Compared with control group, the myoblats in the model group showed low expression of Bcl-2 positive particles, accompanied by high expression of ROS level and Cyt. C fuorescence (P < 0.05); Compared with model group, bFGF enhanced Bcl-2 activity of the myoblasts, and significantly downregulated Cyt. C and PARP expression (P < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS: bFGF could attenuate oxidative injury of rat myoblasts induced by hydrogen peroxide, which mechanism might be related to enhanced Bcl-2 and reduced ROS, Cyt. C levels.

Cancer metastasis plays a major role in tumor deterioration. Metastatic processes are known to be regulated by hypoxic microenvironment and non-muscle myosin IIA (NMIIA). DT-13, a bioactive saponin monomer isolated from Ophiopogon japonicus, has been reported to inhibit various cancer metastasis, but whether NMIIA is involved in the anti-metastatic activity of DT-13 under hypoxia remains to be determined. Thus, this study aims to clarify the role of DT-13 in regulating 95D cell metastasis under hypoxic microenvironment and to further investigate whether NMIIA is involved in the anti-metastatic mechanism of DT-13. We found that DT-13 significantly inhibited 95D cells metastasis in vitro and in vivo. Furthermore, hypoxia significantly inhibited the expression of NMIIA and redistributed NMIIA to the cell periphery, whereas DT-13 reversed the hypoxic effects by upregulating the expression of NMIIA. Moreover, DT-13 treatment redistributed NMIIA to the nuclear periphery and reduced the formation of F-actin in 95D cells. In addition, we found that the Raf-ERK1/2 signaling pathway is involved in regulation of NMIIA by DT-13. Collectively, these findings support NMIIA as a target of DT-13 to prevent lung cancer metastasis.

A novel multiresidue determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), phthalate esters (PAEs) and alkylphenols (APs) in edible vegetable oils was developed. The samples were extracted with hexane-saturated acetonitrile, and after concentration, the extract was directly qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed by gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS) with multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) in positive ion mode. The calibration curve displayed good linearity in the range of 2-100 µg/L, with correlation coefficients greater than 0.99. The mean recoveries were 70.0-110.8% by analysis of spiked oil, and the relative standard deviations (RSDs) were 2.1-10.2% (n=6), respectively. The limits of detection (LODs) for the 23 PAHs, 17 PAEs and 3 APs were 0.1-1.0 µg/kg, 0.1-4.0 µg/kg and 1.2-3.0 µg/kg, respectively. The established method effectively avoided interference from large amounts of lipids and pigments. It was applied to real sample and shown to be a rapid and reliable alternative for determination and confirmation in routine analysis.
