BACKGROUND: Cyclin-dependent kinase subunit 2 (CKS2) is a member of cyclin dependent kinase subfamily and the relationship between CKS2 and osteosarcoma (OS) remains to be further analyzed. METHODS: 80 OS and 41 non-tumor tissue samples were arranged to perform immunohistochemistry (IHC) to evaluate CKS2 expression between OS and non-tumor samples. The standard mean deviation (SMD) was calculated based on in-house IHC and tissue microarrays, and exterior high-throughput datasets for further verification of CKS2 expression trend in OS. The effect of CKS2 expression on clinicopathological parameters of OS patients, and single-cell in OS tissues was analyzed through public high-throughput datasets and functional enrichment analysis was conducted for co-expression genes of CKS2 in accordance with weighted correlation network analysis. RESULTS: A total of 217 OS samples and 87 non-tumor samples (including tissue and cell line) were obtained from in-house IHC, microarrays and exterior high-throughput datasets. The analysis of integrated expression status demonstrated up-regulation of CKS2 in OS (SMD = 1.57, 95%CI [0.27-2.86]) and the significant power of CKS2 expression in distinguishing OS samples from non-tumor samples (AUC = 0.97 95%CI [0.95-0.98]). Clinicopathological analysis of GSE21257 indicated that OS patients with higher CKS2 expression was more likely to suffer OS metastasis. Although Kaplan-Meier curves showed no remarkable difference of overall survival rate between OS patients with high and low-CKS2, CKS2 was found up-regulated in proliferating osteosarcoma cells. Co-expression genes of CKS2 were mainly assembled in function and pathways such as cell cycle, cell adhesion, and intercellular material transport. CONCLUSIONS: In summary, up-regulation of CKS2 expression in OS tissue was found through multiple technical approaches. In addition, scRNA-seq and co-expression analysis showed that CKS2 may have an impact on important biological process linked with cell cycle, cell adhesion, and intercellular material transport. Present study on CKS2 in OS indicated a promising prospect for CKS2 as a biomarker for OS.

BACKGROUND: Although some robotic systems have been developed to improve conventional flexible ureteroscopy (FURS), a widely used intervention in urology, these robots rarely have a comprehensive force feedback function which is important for master-slave controlled surgical robots. METHODS: Here, we design and fabricate a novel FURS robot with a comprehensive force feedback function. Moreover, to realize better force feedback, a neural network-based method is also demonstrated to estimate the interactive forces between the flexible ureteroscope and the environment. RESULTS: We show that when teleoperating the flexible ureteroscope with our robot, the operator can accurately feel the obstruction if the interactive axial force or torque exceeds 1.2 N or 15.6 mN·m respectively. For bending movement, augmented force feedback greatly improves the accuracy of the operator's perception of obstruction. CONCLUSIONS: The developed robotic system with force feedback is expected to improve the safety of robot-assisted FURS.

BACKGROUND: Robotic-assisted cardiovascular interventional surgery is an effective means to reduce the exposure of X-ray radiation to surgeons. However, some of the existing design structures cannot meet the surgical requirements for the coordinated delivery of multiple instruments or lack force sensing function. METHODS: This article proposes a novel cardiovascular interventional surgery robot, which is in line with the operating habits of surgeons. Meanwhile, the force sensing function is integrated under the premise of satisfying the smaller size. RESULTS: Experimental results show that the proposed cardiovascular interventional surgery robot can quickly and accurately deliver multiple surgical instruments. Furthermore, it can accurately measure the force and torque experienced by the guidewire during the delivery process, which conforms to the derived dynamic model. CONCLUSIONS: The results demonstrate the effectiveness of force sensing and indicate the promise of the presented master-slave robotic system for cardiovascular interventional surgery.

Prochlorococcus is the key primary producer in marine ecosystems, and the high-light-adapted clade II (HLII) is the most abundant ecotype. However, the genomic and ecological basis of Prochlorococcus HLII in the marine environment has remained elusive. Here, we show that the ecologically coherent subclade differentiation of HLII corresponds to genomic and ecological characteristics on the basis of analyses of 31 different strains of HLII, including 12 novel isolates. Different subclades of HLII with different core and accessory genes were identified, and their distribution in the marine environment was explored using the TARA Oceans metagenome database. Three major subclade groups were identified, viz., the surface group (HLII-SG), the transition group (HLII-TG), and the deep group (HLII-DG). These subclade groups showed different temperature ranges and optima for distribution. In regression analyses, temperature and nutrient availability were identified as key factors affecting the distribution of HLII subclades. A 35% increase in the relative abundance of HLII-SG by the end of the 21st century was predicted under the Representative Concentration Pathway 8.5 scenario. Our results show that the ubiquity and distribution of Prochlorococcus HLII in the marine environment are associated with the differentiation of diverse subclades. These findings provide insights into the large-scale shifts in the Prochlorococcus community in response to future climate change. IMPORTANCE Prochlorococcus is the most abundant oxygenic photosynthetic microorganism on Earth, and high-light-adapted clade II (HLII) is the dominant ecotype. However, the factors behind the dominance of HLII in the vast oligotrophic oceans are still unknown. Here, we identified three distinct groups of HLII subclades, viz., the surface group (HLII-SG), the transition group (HLII-TG), and the deep group (HLII-DG). We further demonstrated that the ecologically coherent subclade differentiation of HLII corresponds to genomic and ecological characteristics. Our study suggests that the differentiation of diverse subclades underlies the ubiquity and distribution of Prochlorococcus HLII in the marine environment and provides insights into the shifts in the Prochlorococcus community in response to future climate change.

Effects of ginkgo biloba powder (GBP) on the chemical, physicochemical properties and quality of dough and fresh wet noodles were investigated. Lower contents of gluten and starch, and higher contents of fibre, amylose and flavonoids in GBP than wheat flour, were detected. Water absorption of dough increased and the development time and stability time of dough were decreased with GBP addition. Meanwhile, the pasting properties results showed that the addition of GBP reduced the aging degree of starch and improved the thermal stability of dough. Scanning electron microscopy results showed that addition of GBP smoothed the surface of raw noodles while increasing the hole size of the cooked noodles. With increased GBP addition (0~40%), the chewiness and extensibility of the fresh wet noodles increased significantly (p < 0.05), and the sensory scores changed, ascending from 0~20% substitution, and then descending from 20~40% substitution. The digestibility and estimated glycemic index (eGI) values of the GBP fresh wet noodles decreased significantly (p < 0.05). In general, 20% GBP addition could improve the chewiness, extensibility, taste and nutrition of fresh wet noodles, and decrease the digestibility and eGI values of noodles. Thus, GBP has potential for application in the noodle industry.

BACKGROUND: Augmented reality (AR) is a new technology that increases users' perception of the real world. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of augmented reality navigation system in treatment with craniofacial fracture reduction. METHODS: This will be a single-center prospective randomized controlled trial. Twenty-two patients will be assigned to two groups of 11, and those with zygomaticomaxillary complex fractures will undergo preoperative three-dimensional CT modeling and have operational plans designed. The control team will use traditional optical navigation to perform the surgery, and the experimental team will use an AR navigation system. The primary outcome measures will be the accuracy of the key points of surgical area between the preoperational surgical plan and post-operation. The secondary outcome measures will be the blood loss, operation time, bone reduction time, hospital time, and complication rate. The findings obtained through this study are expected to evaluate efficacy and safety of the augmented reality navigation system in the treatment of zygomaticomaxillary complex fractures. DISCUSSION: This controlled trial of augmented reality navigation system in treatment with zygomaticomaxillary complex fracture reduction will clarify the efficacy and safety of this technology by measuring the accuracy of the key points of surgical area and blood loss, operation and bone reduction times, hospital stay duration, and complication rates. This is a single-center study, and the results are expected to promote the application of augmented reality in craniofacial fracture reduction to improve surgery accuracy and efficacy. BACKGROUND: Intravascular fasciitis (IVF) is a rare nodular fasciitis that often involves the layers and lumens of blood vessels; therefore, it is easily misdiagnosed as a malignant tumor with invasion into blood vessels. CASE SUMMARY: A 13-year-old boy was admitted due to a mass on the left side of his neck. Duplex ultrasonography revealed a circular solid hypoechoic mass in the external jugular vein, and magnetic resonance imaging revealed an enhanced longitudinal mass-like lesion in the left supraclavicular fossa. Surgical treatment was arranged and completed, histopathological analysis showed a large amount of spindle cell proliferation, and immunohistochemistry showed that the spindle cells were positive for the expression of vimentin, caldesmon, and smooth muscle actin and negative for the expression of S-100 protein, desmin, CD34, and c-kit; Ki-67 staining revealed a low proliferative index (5%-10%), which confirmed the differentiation characteristics of myofibroblasts. Fluorescence in situ hybridization detected the rearrangement of USP6. IVF was subsequently diagnosed. CONCLUSION: IVF is characterized by intraluminal, intramural and extramural involvement of small to large arteries or veins. Unless the doctor has a deep understanding of the disease or suspects that there is an initial indicator, IVF may be confused with other intravascular malignancies, leading to unnecessary radical surgery. Imaging examination combined with histopathological examination can improve the diagnostic accuracy of this disease.

Chinese red sour soup is a traditional fermented product famous in the southwestern part of China owing to its distinguished sour and spicy flavor. In the present study, the effect of inoculation of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) on the microbial communities and metabolite contents of the Chinese red sour soup was investigated. Traditional red sour soup was made with tomato and red chilli pepper and a live count (108 CFU/mL) of five bacterial strains (including Clostridium intestinalis: Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus: Lactiplantibacillus plantarum: Lacticaseibacillus casei: Lactobacillus paracei) was added and fermented for 30 days in an incubator at 37 °C. Three replicates were randomly taken at 0 d, 5 d, 10 d, 15 d, 20 d, 25 d and 30 d of fermentation, with a total of 21 sour soup samples. Metabolomic analysis and 16S-rDNA amplicon sequencing of soup samples were performed to determine microbial diversity and metabolite contents. Results revealed that fermentation resulted in the depletion of native bacterial strains as LAB dominated over other microbes, resulting in differences in the relative abundance of bacteria, and types or contents of metabolites. A decrease (p < 0.01) in Shannon and Simpson indices was observed at different fermentation times. The metabolomic analyses revealed a significant increase in the relative content of 10 metabolites (particularly lactic acid, thymine, and ascorbic acid) in fermented samples as compared to the control. The correlation network revealed a positive association of Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus with differentially enriched metabolites including lactic acid, ascorbic acid, and chlorogenic acid, which can desirably contribute to the flavor and quality of the red sour soup.

Demand response (DR) is rapidly gaining attention as a solution to enhance the grid reliability with deep renewable energy penetration. Although studies have demonstrated the benefits of DR in mitigating price volatility, there is limited work considering the choice of locations for DR for maximal impact. We reveal that very small load reductions at a handful of targeted locations can lead to a significant decrease in price volatility and grid congestion levels based on a synthetic Texas grid model. We achieve this through exploiting the highly nonlinear nature of congestion dynamics and by strategically selecting DR locations. We demonstrate that we can similarly place energy storage to achieve an equivalent impact. Our findings suggest that targeted DR at specific locations, rather than across-the-board DR, can have substantial benefits to the grid. These findings can inform energy policy makers and grid operators how to target DR initiatives for improving grid reliability.

BACKGROUND: Noninvasive diagnostic technologies that can dynamically monitor changes in liver inflammation are highly important for the management of chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients and thus warrant further exploration. This study assessed the diagnostic efficacy of FibroScan for liver inflammation in CHB patients. METHODS: A total of 1185 patients were selected, and ultrasound-guided liver biopsy was performed within 1 month after the FibroScan test. The liver stiffness measurement (LSM), the reliability criteria (IQR/M) of LSM, the quality of liver biopsy (complete portal area, PA), and the liver inflammation grades were the main observation items of this study. With liver biopsy as the control, the diagnostic efficacy of FibroScan for liver inflammation in CHB patients was evaluated by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis. RESULTS: The grade of liver inflammation was positively correlated with the stage of fibrosis (rho = 0.829, P < 0.001). Different grades of inflammation will have significant rise in LSM values within the same fibrosis stage, and LSM values were positively correlated with liver inflammation grade and fibrosis stage, and the rho is 0.579 and 0.593 respectively (P < 0.001). Significant differences in the LSM of FibroScan were observed among different grades of liver inflammation (P < 0.0001). Liver biopsy (PA > 10) served as the control, and the cutoff point and the area under ROC curves (AUCs) of the LSMs for different inflammation grades were as follows: G2, 8.6 kPa, 0.775; G3 9.8 kPa, 0.818; and G4, 11.0 kPa; 0.832. With LSM cutoff values of 8.6 kPa, 9.8 kPa and 11.0 kPa, FibroScan showed certain diagnostic value for CHB patients with G2, G3 and G4 liver inflammation, especially those with G4 inflammation. CONCLUSIONS: The grade of liver inflammation was positively correlated with the stage of fibrosis, different grades of inflammation will have significant rise in LSM values within the same fibrosis stage. In addition to liver fibrosis, FibroScan could evaluate liver inflammation in CHB patients in a noninvasive manner.

PURPOSE: Currently, self-retaining laryngoscopic surgery is not suitable for some patients, and there are dead zones relating to surgical field exposure and operation. The quality of the surgery can also be affected by the long periods of time required to complete it. Teleoperated continuum robots with flexible joints are expected to solve these issues. However, at the current stage of developing transoral robotic surgery systems, their large size affects the precision of surgical operative actions and there are high development and treatment costs. METHODS: We fabricated a flexible joint based on selective laser melting technology and designed a shallow neural network-based kinematic modeling approach for a continuum surgical robot. Then, human model and animal experiments were completed by master-slave teleoperation to verify the force capability and dexterity of the robot, respectively. RESULTS: As verified by human model and animal experiments, the designed continuum robot was demonstrated to achieve transoral laryngeal surgical field exposure without laryngoscope assistance, with sufficient load capability to finish the biopsy of vocal fold tissue in living animals. CONCLUSION: The designed continuum robotic system allows the biopsy of vocal fold tissue without laryngoscope assistance. Its stiffness and dexterity indicate the system's potential for applications in the diagnosis and treatment of vocal fold nodules and polyps. The limitations of this robotic system as shown in the experiments were also analyzed.

BACKGROUND: Existing rigid instruments have difficulties in backward inspection and operation. Moreover, the pathway to the maxillary sinus is curved and narrow, resulting in complex and repetitive manual operations. There is a necessity to develop a retro-flexing robot and achieve path-following motion. METHODS: A continuum robotic system is developed for maxillary sinus surgery (MSS). And the system adopts an anatomical constraint-based optimization of the follow-the-leader strategy to generate a safe control scheme along a given path. RESULTS: The accuracy of the system is evaluated, and the task of reaching deep-seated targets is performed in a constrained anatomical space. The simulations and experiments of the path-following motion have validated the feasibility of the proposed method. Furthermore, a preliminary porcine study is performed to assess the capability of instruments. CONCLUSIONS: The developed continuum robotic system can meet the requirements of MSS.

PURPOSE: To evaluate viral loads in children with human adenovirus (HAdV) pneumonia at different stages of disease and compare the viral load between upper and lower respiratory tract samples. METHODS: We prospectively enrolled children who required invasive ventilation for HAdV pneumonia. Nasopharyngeal aspirate (NPA) and tracheal aspirate (TA) samples were collected throughout the entire period of invasive ventilation. Viral detection and quantification were performed using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction. RESULTS: Ninety-four children were enrolled. The median age of the children was 12.0 months (IQR: 11.0-24.0), and > ninety percent of patients were aged between 6 and 59 months. Seven hundred and nine paired NPA-TA samples were collected. The median viral loads of the NPA and TA samples were 7.31 log10 and 7.50 log10 copies/mL, respectively. Viral loads generally decreased steadily over time. The median viral load after 1, 2, 3, and > 3 weeks of the disease course was 8.65, 7.70, 6.69, and 5.09 log10 copies/mL, respectively, in NPA samples and 8.67, 7.79, 7.08, and 5.53 log10 copies/mL, respectively, in TA samples. Viral load showed a significant negative correlation with time since symptom onset in both NPA samples (Spearman r = - 0.607, P = 0.000) and TA samples (Spearman r = - 0.544, P = 0.000). The predicted duration of HAdV shedding was 60.17 days in the NPA group and 65.81 days in the TA group. Viral loads in NPA and TA from the same subjects correlated well with each other (R2 = 0.694). HAdV loads in NPA and TA were most comparable during the early phase of infection (95% limits of agreement, - 1.36 to 1.30 log10 copies/mL, R2 = 0.746). Variation increased during the late phase of infection (i.e., in follow-up samples), with viral loads remaining significantly higher in TA than NPA. CONCLUSIONS: In children with HAdV pneumonia, viral loads in both NPA and TA steadily decreased during the course of the disease, and the predicted duration of viral shedding was more than 2 months. The HAdV DNA load of NPA is highly correlated with that of TA, especially in the initial phase of infection.

METHODS: 80 OS and 41 nontumor tissue samples were arranged to conduct immunohistochemistry (IHC) to evaluate CKS1B expression between OS and nontumor samples. The standard mean deviation (SMD) was calculated based on in-house IHC and tissue microarrays and exterior high-throughput datasets for further verification of CKS1B expression in OS. The effect of CKS1B expression on clinicopathological and overall survival of OS patients was measured through public high-throughput datasets, and analysis of immune infiltration and single-cell RNA-seq was applied to ascertain molecular mechanism of CKS1B in OS. RESULTS: A total of 197 OS samples and 83 nontumor samples (including tissue and cell line) were obtained from in-house IHC, microarrays, and exterior high-throughput datasets. The analysis of integrated expression status demonstrated upregulation of CKS1B in OS (SMD = 1.38, 95% CI [0.52-2.25]) and the significant power of CKS1B expression in distinguishing OS samples from nontumor samples (Area under the Curve (AUC) = 0.89, 95% CI [0.86-0.91]). Clinicopathological and prognosis analysis indicated no remarkable significance but inference of immune infiltration and single-cell RNA-seq prompted that OS patients with overexpressed CKS1B were more likely to suffer OS metastasis while MYC Protooncogene may be the upstream regulon of CKS1B in proliferating osteoblastic OS cells. CONCLUSIONS: In this study, sufficient evidence was provided for upregulation of CKS1B in OS. The advanced effect of CKS1B on OS progression indicates a foreground of CKS1B as a biomarker for OS.

BACKGROUND: Clinical studies reporting on robot-assisted surgery (RAS) in mandibular contouring surgery are lacking. OBJECTIVES: Our objective was to follow up on the effectiveness and safety of RAS for craniofacial bone surgery over a long-term period. METHODS: This small sample, early phase, prospective, randomized controlled study included patients diagnosed with mandibular deformity requiring mandibular contouring surgery. Patients of both genders aged 18-30 years without complicated craniofacial repair defects were enrolled and randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio by a permuted-block randomized assignments list generated by the study statistician. The primary outcomes were the positioning accuracy and angle accuracy of the osteotomy plane 1 week after surgery. Surgical auxiliary measurement index, patient satisfaction scale, surgical pain scale, perioperative period, and complications at 1 week, 1 month, and 6 months after surgery were also analyzed. RESULTS: One patient was lost to follow-up, resulting in a total of 14 patients in the traditional surgery group and 15 in the robot-assisted group (mean [SD] age, 22.65 [3.60] years). Among the primary outcomes, there was a significant difference in the positioning accuracy (2.91mm vs. 1.65mm; P < 0.01) and angle accuracy (13.26º vs. 4.85º; P < 0.01) between the two groups. Secondary outcomes did not significantly differ. CONCLUSIONS: Compared to traditional surgery, robot-assisted mandibular contouring surgery showed improved precision in bone shaving, as well as higher safety.

INTRODUCTION: Cognitive impairment is the main clinical manifestation of cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD). However, the mechanism and structural damage in different domains of cognitive disorders are poorly understood. There is an urgent need to quantify the relation between diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) data and impaired cognitive testing in CSVD, which may help to find biomarkers for early diagnosis or treatment evaluation. We aim to summarise the understanding of association between DTI findings and domain-specific cognitive impairment. METHODS AND ANALYSIS: PubMed, EMBASE, Web of science, Cochrane library, Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure Databases, Wanfang, SinoMed and VIP will be searched, from 1 January 1994 to 1 August 2021. The ClinicalTrials.gov and Chictr.org.cn records will also be searched to identify further potential studies. The included studies should report fractional anisotropy and/or and mean diffusivity/apparent diffusion coefficient data for one or more individual regions of interest in DTI analysis. Meanwhile, cognitive testing scores are also needed. This systematic review will be reported according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses. The quality of cohort or case-control studies will be evaluated by the Newcastle-Ottawa Scale, and the cross-section studies will be evaluated by Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality scale. Meta-analysis, subgroup and sensitivity analyses, and publication bias will be all performed with Stata. ETHICS AND DISSEMINATION: Patients and the public will not be involved in this study. The existing data from published studies will be used. The findings from this research will be relevant information regarding the association of DTI metrics with cognitive disorder, which will be published in a peer-reviewed journal. If we need to amend this protocol, we will give the date of each amendment, describe the change and give the rationale. Changes will not be incorporated into the protocol. RESUMO

Although tendon-driven continuum manipulators have been extensively researched, how to realize tip contact force sensing in a more general and efficient way without increasing the diameter is still a challenge. Rather than use a complex modeling approach, this paper proposes a general tip contact force-sensing method based on a recurrent neural network that takes the tendons' position and tension as the input of a recurrent neural network and the tip contact force of the continuum manipulator as the output and fits this static model by means of machine learning so that it may be used as a real-time contact force estimator. We also designed and built a corresponding three-degree-of-freedom contact force data acquisition platform based on the structure of a continuum manipulator designed in our previous studies. After obtaining training data, we built and compared the performances of a multi-layer perceptron-based contact force estimator as a baseline and three typical recurrent neural network-based contact force estimators through TensorFlow framework to verify the feasibility of this method. We also proposed a manually decoupled sub-estimators algorithm and evaluated the advantages and disadvantages of those two methods.

Genetic testing is the gold standard for exploring the etiology of congenital hearing loss. Here, we enrolled 137 Chinese patients with congenital hearing loss to describe the molecular epidemiology by using 127 gene panel testing or 159 variant testing. Sixty-three deaf children received 127 gene panel testing, while seventy-four patients received 159 variant testing. By use of 127 gene panel testing, more mutant genes and variants were identified. The most frequent mutant genes were GJB2, SLC26A4, MYO15A, CDH23, and OTOF. By analyzing the patients who received 127 gene panel testing, we found that 51 deaf children carried variants which were not included in 159 variant testing. Therefore, a large number of patients would be misdiagnosed if only 159 variant testing is used. This study highlights the advantage of 127 gene panel testing, and it suggests that broader genetic testing should be done to identify the genetic etiology of congenital hearing loss.

This paper proposes a privacy-preserving energy management of a shared energy storage system (SESS) for multiple smart buildings using federated reinforcement learning (FRL). To preserve the privacy of energy scheduling of buildings connected to the SESS, we present a distributed deep reinforcement learning (DRL) framework using the FRL method, which consists of a global server (GS) and local building energy management systems (LBEMSs). In the framework, the LBEMS DRL agents share only a randomly selected part of their trained neural network for energy consumption models with the GS without consumer's energy consumption data. Using the shared models, the GS executes two processes: (i) construction and broadcast of a global model of energy consumption to the LBEMS agents for retraining their local models and (ii) training of the SESS DRL agent's energy charging and discharging from and to the utility and buildings. Simulation studies are conducted using one SESS and three smart buildings with solar photovoltaic systems. The results demonstrate that the proposed approach can schedule the charging and discharging of the SESS and an optimal energy consumption of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in smart buildings under heterogeneous building environments while preserving the privacy of buildings' energy consumption.

BACKGROUND: High intrarenal pressure (IRP) during flexible ureteroscopy (FURS) may lead to severe complications. Reported methods for measuring IRP are often inconvenient to use, expensive and involve instruments that occupy the narrow ureter. METHODS: We proposed an irrigation system, which can noninvasively estimate IRP based on the principle of fluid mechanics. To determine the feasibility of our system, we conducted irrigation experiments on a kidney phantom and a porcine kidney. The estimated IRPs were compared with the ground truth IRPs. RESULTS: When no surgical instrument was inserted into the flexible ureteroscope's working channel, our system can estimate IRP with high accuracy. When a surgical instrument was inserted, our system can approximately estimate the level of IRP. CONCLUSIONS: Our proposed irrigation system can noninvasively estimate IRP, presenting a new thought for clinical practice. In future studies, in vivo experiments are needed to further validate and improve the system.
