RESUMO

Aim To investigate the effects of starfish saponins(Sfs) on insulin signaling pathway in orotic acid-induced NAFLD rats. Methods 1% orotic acid was used to establish NAFLD model in male Wistar rats for six weeks. The NAFLD rats were randomly divided into two groups(eight rats in each group) and then fed with the corresponding diets: Model group(1% orotic acid)and Sfs group(1% orotic acid containing 0.04% starfish saponins). After starfish saponins feeding for 8 weeks, hepatic lipids content, liver function indices and relevant protein expression in muscle insulin signaling pathway were measured. Results Compared with model group, starfish saponins reduced hepatic lipids content and improved liver functions. In addition, it effectively ameliorated insulin resistance by improving insulin signaling pathway and improved glucose uptake in muscle. Conclusion The amelioration effect of starfish saponins on impaired insulin signaling pathway in muscle is observed in orotic acid-induced NAFLD rats.

RESUMO

ObjectiveTo investigate the characteristics of trace elements and amino acid metabolism in the blood of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and to guide clinical treatment. MethodsThis study included 125 untreated patients with primary HCC in Tangshan Maternal and Child Health Hospital and Tangshan Guzhi District Hospital from March to November, 2013, as well as 50 healthy controls who underwent physical examination in Tangshan Maternal and Child Health Hospital. Blood trace elements were measured by atomic absorption spectrophotometry, and the levels of amino acids were determined by an amino acid analyzer. Comparison of continuous data was made by t test. ResultsCompared with the controls, the HCC patients had a significantly higher Cu level (t=6.30, P<0.05) and significantly lower Zn, Fe, and Mg levels (t=10.15, 3.98, and 2.25, all P<0.05). The HCC patients showed significant increases in tyrosine, phenylalanine, and methionine levels (t=10.10, 13.46, and 2.34, all P<0.05) and significant decreases in valine, isoleucine, leucine, and arginine levels (t=3.65, 2.98, 5.67, and 8.35, all P<0.05). ConclusionHCC patients show changes in various amino acids and trace elements in blood. Measurement of trace elements and amino acids is of certain significance for evaluating HCC patients′ condition and guiding clinical treatment.

RESUMO

Objective To explore the effects of reoperation on treatment of recurrent pelvic endometriosis(RPEM).Methods The clinical data of 47 cases of RPEM reoperation in our hospital from April 2005 to October 2010 was investigated, and the efficacy was analyzed compared with the first operation data. Results The cases of painful nodules was significantly different between reoperation group and the first operation group(28 vs 14,x2 =8.436,P =0.004 ).There was significant difference on laparoscopic surgery cases between reoperation group and the first operation group (25 vs 40,x2 =7.259,P =0.007 ).The operation time in reoperation group was significantly longer than that in the first operation group( [ 106.4 ±41.0] min vs [ 78.4 ± 26.4 ] min,t=3.995,P < 0.01 ),and the amout of intraoperative hemorrhage in reoperation group was more than that in the first operation group ( [ 143.2 ± 118.3 ] ml vs [ 70.6 ± 68.1 ] ml,t =3.660,P < 0.01 ).However, there was no significant difference on symptoms, cyst location and clinical stage between these two groups(P >0.05).Conclusion Due to the pelvic adhesion would be dense and extensive in RPEM,it should be carefully dissected during reoperation. At the same time, the operator should pay attention to the anatomical location and try to restore the normal anatomy of the pelvic organs and physiological state, and try to reduce postoperative adhesions.Complete removal of the lesions is the key to improve the treatment effect and prevent recurrence and reoperation.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the early period cesarean scars pregnancy diagnosis and its influence on prognosis. Methods Clincal data of 42 cases diagnosed as cesarean scar pregnancy from May 2006 to February 2011 treated in our hospital were retrospective analysed. Results All cases underwent B ultrasound examination, which showed gestational sacs or inhomogeneous echo-enclosed mass in the lower segment of anterior wall of uterus. Thirty-nine cases were successfully eonservatively treated,3 cases underwent cleanrance of focal lesion and neoplasty. Conclusion The cesarean scar pregnancy diagnosis depends on a B ultra-sound examination, and the color Doppler ultra sound is reliable for the diagnosis. Floss plants in the crater of scar and developed to uterus wall. Curettage guided by B ultra-sound after uterine artery embolization is a safe and efficient treatment method.

RESUMO

A multi-channel central monitoring system based on B/S mode is designed. It is consistent of the central monitoring server software, the Internet Explorer in the client PC, and a physiological signal collector. The server software can accept two client's request of data transfer, and real-time monitor several patients through Internet. The client uses the B/S mode, and just need to install an ActiveX control. The only thing users should to do is opening the Intemet Explorer, from which the waveform and signals are shown and transferred. The system extends the central monitoring service from hospital to the community, and is benefit for patient's long-term observation and cutting fees. Additionally, it can be a new solution of network based health care devices.

RESUMO

Objective To study the clinical diagnostic value of transvaginal ultrasonic in early cervical carcinema and cervical neoplasis.Methotis The suspected patients with cervical carcinoma and cervical neoplasis were detected with transvaginal ultrasonography, liquid based cytology and cervical biopsy. The sonograms of transvaginal ultrasonic were retrospectively analyzed. Results In early cervical carcinoma and cervical neoplasis, the diagnostic sensitivity of transvaglnal ultrasonic was 90.9%and 83.3%;and the diagnostic specifity of transvaginal ultrasonic was 70.6% and 60.0%;the rate of missed diagnosis of transvaginal ultrasonic was 9.1% and 16.7%.Conclusion Transvaginal ultrasonic plays an important part in the clinical diagnosis of early cervical carcinoma.

RESUMO

A real-time tele-monitoring system for physiological multi-parameter based on Internet is introduced, and physiological signals are transmitted by P2P network technology. The experiment results show that the speed of data transfer has been improved greatly using P2P technology, and physiological signals, such as ECG,can be monitored in real-time.
