RESUMO

Treatment of [Ir(PPh3)3Cl] with 2-[5-(pyridin-2-yl)-1H-pyrrol-2-yl]pyridine (Hdpp) in refluxing toluene affords an unexpected pyrrole-metalated iridium(III) hydride complex, [Ir(K2C,N-dpp)(H)(Cl)(PPh3)2] (1), via Cpyrrole-H activation, while the presence of the base KOtBu as the deprotonation reagent produces a pyridine-metalated iridium(III) hydride complex, [Ir(K3C,N,N-dpp)(H)(PPh3)2] (2), via Cpyridine-H activation. Treatment of [Ir(PPh3)3Cl] prepared by a convenient method with Hdpp in the presence of KOtBu under the refluxing mixture solvent toluene/methanol (2:1, v/v) generates the N,N-chelating complex [Ir(K2N,N-dpp)(H)(Cl)(PPh3)2] (3) together with 1 and the N,N-chelating dihydride complex [Ir(K2N,N-dpp)(H)2(PPh3)2] (4). Complex 4 is also readily produced by the reaction of [Ir(PPh3)3Cl] and Hdpp in the presence of KOtBu under refluxing methanol or by the reaction of IrCl3 and PPh3 in refluxing 2-ethoxyethanol. Complexes 1-4 are fully characterized by NMR, IR, and UV-vis spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis. The dpp-/dpp2- ligand shows rich coordination capability, of which pyridine- and pyrrole-cyclometalated coordination modes are first reported. The formation of structural isomers 1 and 3 involved the selective activation of the C-H and N-H bonds of Hdpp is rationalized by theoretical calculations.

Gastric cancer (GC) patients with metastasis had limited treatment options and dismal outcome. We have previously reported the aberrant expression of Zic family member 1 (Zic1) in GC. However, the functional roles and underlying mechanism of Zic1 in GC metastasis remain unknown. Here, we demonstrate that lower expression of Zic1 was correlated with more lymph node metastasis and poor outcome of GC patients. Ectopic expression of Zic1 suppressed both lung metastasis and peritoneal tumor dissemination of GC in mice. The metastatic suppressing ability of Zic1 was mediated by regulating the process of cell invasion, adhesion and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). Mechanistically, Zic1 could downregulate Wnt targets including c-Myc and Cyclin D1 by inhibiting LEF transcriptional activity in GC cells. Notably, Zic1 was inversely related to the expression of Cyclin D1 in GC tissues tested. In addition, Zic1 could physically interact with ß-catenin/transcription factor 4 (TCF4) and disrupt their complex formation, while not affecting ß-catenin nuclear localization. Collectively, our study indicated that Zic1 suppressed GC metastasis through attenuating Wnt/ß-catenin signaling and the EMT process. Our work may provide novel therapeutic strategies for the metastasis of GC.

PURPOSE: Based on previous researches of HoxC6, this study aims to investigate the expression levels of isoforms HoxC6-1 and HoxC6-2 and to explore their roles in gastric carcinogenesis as well as the possible molecular mechanism. METHODS: We investigated expression levels of HoxC6, HoxC6-1, and HoxC6-2 in gastric cancer tissues, coupled with relevant data in TCGA dataset. In vitro, HoxC6, HoxC6-1, and HoxC6-2 knockdown by small interference RNA was carried for evaluating the changes of malignant biological behaviors of gastric cancer cells, such as proliferation, migration, invasion, apoptosis, and cell cycle alternation. Metastasis-related nucleotide lncRNA HOTAIR was selected by bioinformatics, and verification was carried out by in vitro researches. RESULTS: Data suggested HoxC6-1 and HoxC6-2 were considerably over-expressed with different folds in gastric cancerous tissues. Decreased expression of HoxC6-2 was detected in well-differentiated type of gastric cancer. In vitro, the conclusion that HoxC6 functions as a tumor oncogene illuminated by previous studies was verified again. Additionally, down-regulating of HoxC6-2 significantly inhibited SGC-7901 and BGC-823 cells from proliferation, migration, invasion, apoptosis, while quite slight results or none statistically significant results were observed when HoxC6-1 was knockdown. Besides, over-expression of HOTAIR, which is relevant with HoxC6 during gastric carcinogenesis, was detected in gastric cancerous tissues. Restored expression of HoxC6 partially reversed the decreased migration caused by down-regulating HOTAIR in gastric cancer cells. CONCLUSION: HoxC6 acts as an oncogene in gastric carcinogenesis and might be a promising therapeutic target. Isoform HoxC6-2 plays a primary carcinogenic role in gastric carcinogenesis. HOTAIR, over-expressed in gastric cancer, might regulate HoxC6 on the protein level in promoting migration of gastric cells.

OBJECTIVE: The prevalence of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) has been increasing worldwide, and the risk of infection has increased due to the use of immunosuppressive and biologic medications. Some of these infections can be prevented with vaccinations. The aim of this study was to evaluate the vaccination practices of Chinese gastroenterologists for patients with IBD. METHODS: Questionnaires based on quick response codes were sent using email and the WeChat platform to gastroenterologists at 20 hospitals in China. The vaccination practices of the gastroenterologists, including vaccinating for hepatitis B, hepatitis A, and varicella, were assessed. RESULTS: Of the 468 gastroenterologists who received the questionnaire, 307 (65.6%) completed it. Of the gastroenterologists who were most concerned about hepatitis B; 83.4% always or frequently asked about an infection history, 53.7% took an immunization history, and 73.6% tested patients for hepatitis B infection. However, few gastroenterologists did so for hepatitis A or varicella. The proportion of patients who were asked about an infection and immunization history and tested for varicella infection was 16.0%, 15.0%, and 9.4%, respectively. Only a few gastroenterologists recommended vaccination for patients without an infection before IBD medical treatment (26.7% for hepatitis A, 45.6% for hepatitis B, and 28% for varicella vaccination). CONCLUSION: Vaccination practices for patients with IBD used by Chinese gastroenterologists vary greatly, suggesting that education about immunization is needed.

Renal fibrosis is at the core of various renal diseases, including diabetic kidney disease (DKD). Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are known players in the regulation of renal fibrosis. However, their expression and function in DKD still need to be elucidated. The purpose of this study was to assess how lncRNA GAS5 regulates fibrosis and its mechanism in TGF-ß1-treated renal proximal tubular cell.In this study, the lncRNA GAS5 was upregulated in both TGF-ß1-treated HK-2 cells and the kidneys of HDF/STZ mice. Knockdown of GAS5 relieved renal tubular epithelial fibrosis. This effect was mediated by the downregulation and functional inactivation of miR-96-5p. Furthermore, miR-96-5p was downregulated in DKD mice, and this downregulation attenuated the repression of FN1(fibronectin, FN) and led to its upregulation. The decrease in miR-96-5p was partially attributed to the miRNA-sponge action of GAS5.Our research demonstrates that knockdown of lncRNA GAS5 leads to antifibrosis by competitively binding miR-96-5p, which inhibits the expression of FN1. These results indicate that targeting lncRNA GAS5 may be a promising therapeutic strategy for preventing DKD.

Spherical cellulose nanocrystals (SCNs) and rod-shaped cellulose nanocrystals (RCNs) were extracted from different cellulose materials. The two shape forms of cellulose nanocrystals (CNs) were designed with a combination of isothiocyanate (FITC), and both the obtained FITC-SCNs and FITC-RCNs exhibited high fluorescence brightness. The surfaces of SCNs and RCNs were subjected to a secondary imino group by a Schiff reaction and then covalently bonded to the isothiocyanate group of FITC through a secondary imino group to obtain fluorescent cellulose nanocrystals (FITC-CNs). The absolute ζ-potential and dispersion stability of FITC-CNs (FITC-SCNs and FITC-RCNs) were improved, which also promoted the increase in the fluorescence quantum yield. FITC-RCNs had a fluorescence quantum yield of 30.7%, and FITC-SCNs had a morphological advantage (better dispersion, etc.), resulting in a higher fluorescence quantum yield of 35.9%. Cell cytotoxicity experiments demonstrated that the process of FITC-CNs entering mouse osteoblasts (MC3T3) did not destroy the cell membrane, showing good biocompatibility. On the other hand, FITC-CNs with good dispersibility can significantly enhance poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and poly(lactic acid) (PLA); their mechanical properties were improved (the highest sample reached to 243%) and their fluorescent properties were imparted. This study provides a simple surface functionalization method to produce high-luminance fluorescent materials for bioimaging, multifunctional nanoenhancement/dispersion marking, and anticounterfeiting materials.

Background: Neuropathic pain with complications greatly affects patients worldwide. High mobility group box 1 (HMGB1) has been shown to contribute to the pathogenesis of neuropathic pain; thus, suppression of HMGB1 may provide a novel therapeutic option for neuropathic pain. Electroacupuncture (EA) has been indicated to be effective in attenuating neuropathic pain, but the underlying mechanism remains to be fully clarified. We aim to explore whether 2Hz EA stimulation regulates the spinal HMGB1/NF-κB signaling in neuropathic pain induced by spared nerve injury (SNI). Materials and methods: Paw withdrawal threshold and CatWalk gait analysis were used to assess the effect of 2Hz EA on pain-related behaviors in SNI rats. Administration of 2Hz EA to SNI rats once every other day lasting for 21 days. Expression of spinal protein molecules were detected using Western blot and immunofluorescence staining. Results: It was found that SNI significantly induced mechanical hypersensitivity and decrease of gait parameters, and subsequently increased the levels of HMGB1, TLR4, MyD88, and NF-κB p65 protein expression. 2Hz EA stimulation led to remarkable attenuation of mechanical hypersensitivity, upregulation of spinal HMGB1, TLR4, MyD88, and NF-κB p65 protein expressions induced by SNI, and significant improvement in gait parameters. Furthermore, immunofluorescence staining also confirmed that 2Hz EA obviously suppressed the co-expression of microglia activation marker CD11b and TLR4 or MyD88, as well as the activation of NF-κB p65 in SNI rats. Conclusion: This study suggested that blockade of HMGB1/NF-κB signaling in the spinal cord may be a promising therapeutic approach for 2Hz EA management of SNI-induced neuropathic pain.

In this paper, we utilized the energy-transfer process between upconversion nanoparticles (UCNPs) and organic dye molecules to enhance the upconversion quantum yield (UCQY) of a UCNPs-dye system and tune the luminescence output color. The results indicate that adding an energy dissipation pathway to the energy donor through an energy-transfer process can decrease the ratio of nonradiative transition and cause a new radiative pathway. Through calculation of the rate equations, we studied the effects of the energy-transfer efficiency and activator type on the UCQY enhancement. On the basis of calculations of the CIE color coordinates, tunable color from Er3+, Tm3+, Ho3+, and Tb3+ ions was generated by surface decorating of an organic dye. The approach described here provides a new way to optimize the UCQY and manipulate the emission through energy transfer in a nanoscopic region.

Senescent microenvironments play an important role in tumor progression. Here, we report that doxorubicin (DOX)-pretreated or replicative senescent stromal cells (WI-38 and HUVEC) promote colorectal cancer (CRC) cell growth and invasion in vitro and in vivo. These pro-tumorigenic effects were attenuated by exogenous administration of Klotho, an anti-aging factor. We subsequently identified several senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP)-associated genes, including CCL2, which were significantly upregulated in both types of senescent stromal cells during replication and DNA damage-induced senescence. Importantly, we found that the secretion of CCL2 by senescent stromal cells was significantly higher than that seen in nonsenescent cells or in senescent cells pretreated with Klotho. Notably, CCL2 was found to accelerate CRC cell proliferation and invasion, while this effect could be blocked by administration of a specific CCR2 antagonist. We further show that Klotho can suppress NF-κB activation during DOX-induced senescence and thus block CCL2 transcription. Low expression of Klotho, or high expression of CCL2 in patient tumor tissues, correlated with poor overall survival of CRC patients. Collectively, our findings suggest that senescent stromal cells are linked to progression of CRC. Klotho can suppress the senescent stromal cell-associated triggering of CRC progression by inhibiting the expression of SASP factors including CCL2. The identification of key SASP factors such as CCL2 may provide potential therapeutic targets for improving CRC therapy.

During a minimally invasive tumor resection procedure, it is still a challenge to rapidly and accurately trace tiny malignant tumors in real time. Fluorescent molecular imaging is considered an efficient method of localizing tumors during surgery due to its high sensitivity and biosafety. On the basis of the fact that γ-glutamyltranspeptidase (GGT) is overexpressed in ovarian cancer, we herein designed a highly sensitive ratiometric fluorescent GGT-responsive probe Py-GSH for rapid tumor detection. Methods: The GGT response probe (Py-GSH) was constructed by using GSH group as a response group and pyrionin B as a fluorescent reporter. Py-GSH was characterized for photophysical properties, response speed and selectivity of GGT and response mechanism. The anti-interference ability of ratiometric probe Py-GSH to probe concentration and excitation power was evaluated both in vitro and in tissue. The biocompatibility and toxicity of the ratiometric probe was examined using cytoxicity test. The GGT levels in different lines of cells were determined by ratiometric fluorescence imaging and cytometry analysis. Results: The obtained probe capable to rapidly monitored GGT activity in aqueous solution with 170-fold ratio change. By ratiometric fluorescence imaging, the probe Py-GSH was also successfully used to detect high GGT activity in solid tumor tissues and small peritoneal metastatic tumors (~1 mm in diameter) in a mouse model. In particular, this probe was further used to determine whether the tissue margin following clinical ovarian cancer surgery contained tumor. Conclusion: In combination of ratiometric fluorescence probes with imaging instrument, a point-of-care imaging method was developed and may be used for surgical navigation and rapid diagnosis of tumor tissue during clinical tumor resection.

California methane (CH4) emissions are quantified for three years from two tower networks and one aircraft campaign. We used backward trajectory simulations and a mesoscale Bayesian inverse model, initialized by three inventories, to achieve the emission quantification. Results show total statewide CH4 emissions of 2.05 ± 0.26 (at 95% confidence) Tg/yr, which is 1.14 to 1.47 times greater than the anthropogenic emission estimates by California Air Resource Board (CARB). Some of differences could be biogenic emissions, superemitter point sources, and other episodic emissions which may not be completely included in the CARB inventory. San Joaquin Valley (SJV) has the largest CH4 emissions (0.94 ± 0.18 Tg/yr), followed by the South Coast Air Basin, the Sacramento Valley, and the San Francisco Bay Area at 0.39 ± 0.18, 0.21 ± 0.04, and 0.16 ± 0.05 Tg/yr, respectively. The dairy and oil/gas production sources in the SJV contribute 0.44 ± 0.36 and 0.22 ± 0.23 Tg CH4/yr, respectively. This study has important policy implications for regulatory programs, as it provides a thorough multiyear evaluation of the emissions inventory using independent atmospheric measurements and investigates the utility of a complementary multiplatform approach in understanding the spatial and temporal patterns of CH4 emissions in the state and identifies opportunities for the expansion and applications of the monitoring network.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) play critical roles in the tumorigenesis and progression of gastric cancer (GC). However, the biological function of miR-4268 in GC and its mechanism remain unclear. In the present study, qTR-PCR found that the expression of miR-4268 was significantly downregulated in GC tissues and cell lines. The overexpression of miR-4268 inhibited GC cell proliferation and the cell cycle G1/S phase transition, and induced cell apoptosis. In contrast, inhibition of miR-4268 promoted cell proliferation and G1-S transition, and suppressed cell apoptosis. Further analyses revealed that miR-4268 expression was negatively correlated with Rab6B expression in GC tissues. Rab6B was verified to be a direct target of miR-4268. Notably, silencing Rab6B resulted in the same biological effects in GC cells as those induced by overexpression of miR-4268. Importantly, both miR-4268 overexpression and Rab6B silence inhibited the AKT/JNK signaling pathways, which modulated cell cycle regulators (Cyclin D1 and CDK4). In contrast, inhibition of miR-4268 promoted the AKT/JNK signaling pathways. MiR-4268 overexpression also promoted the p38 MAPK signaling pathway. Taken together, miR-4268 suppresses GC cell proliferation through inhibiting the AKT/JNK signaling pathways by targeting Rab6B and induces cell apoptosis through promoting the p38 MAPK signaling pathway. Our findings indicate a tumor-suppressor role of miR-4268 in GC pathogenesis and the potential of miR-4268 in GC theropy.

Background: Neuropathic pain with complicated mechanism severely disrupts patient quality of life. The novel approaches and more effective management should be further investigated. It was reported that alpha-7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (α7nAChR) and janus kinase 2 (JAK2)/signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) signaling in dorsal root ganglion (DRG) contributed to the pathogenesis of neuropathic pain. Our previous study has shown that electroacupuncture (EA) alleviated neuropathic pain via activating α7nAChR in the spinal cord. However, whether the effect of 2 Hz EA on spared nerve injury (SNI)-induced neuropathic pain is mediated through modulation of α7nAChR and JAK2/STAT3 pathway in the DRG remains unclear. Materials and methods: The SNI-induced neuropathic pain rat model was used in this study. After application of 2 Hz EA treatment to SNI rats on day 3, 7, 14 and 21 post-surgery, the expression levels of α7nAChR, JAK2/STAT3 and some cytokines in DRG were determined by qRT-PCR and Western blot analysis. Results: We found that SNI induced significant down-regulation of α7nAChR mRNA and protein expression. SNI also obviously elicited the decrease in anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 protein expression. The enhancement of p-JAK2, p-STAT3, pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-1ß and IL-6 protein levels induced by SNI were also observed. However, 2 Hz EA treatment to SNI rats distinctly improved α7nAChR and IL-10 levels and reduced p-JAK2, p-STAT3, IL-1ß and IL-6 expression in the DRG. Conclusion: Our present study suggested that 2 Hz EA treatment indeed activated α7nAChR, suppressed JAK2/STAT3 signaling and re-balanced the relationship between pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines in DRG of SNI rat, which provided insight into our understanding of the mechanism for 2 Hz EA to attenuate neuropathic pain.

BACKGROUND: Currently, WeChat is widely used in disease education for patients with Crohn's disease (CD) in China. It is beneficial for the patients to actively engage in their disease management. METHODS: In this study, we examined the source and expectations of disease information for Chinese CD patients, analysing the content of popular WeChat public accounts and their potential association with medication adherence. RESULTS: Between November 24th, 2017 and April 10th, 2018, online questionnaires were sent to CD patients from eight different large urban hospitals in China. In all, 436 patients with CD were surveyed, and 342 patients responded. Patients most frequently visited Baidu (65%), WeChat (61%) and medical websites such as Haodaifu (35%) when searching for IBD-related information. Among ten WeChat IBD public accounts, the China Crohn's and Colitis Foundation (CCCF) (73%), "IBD Academic Officer" (21%) and "IBD in love" (21%) were the most popular. CD patients were most interested in information from the internet about diet and day-to-day health-related living with IBD (83%), an introduction to the disease (80%), and medication advances and side effects (80%). The correlation between the information provided by the top five WeChat public accounts and patients' expectations was low. Additionally, most patients (64%) had greater confidence in overcoming the disease after learning about CD through their internet searches. Medical adherence was also related to internet access and income (p < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS: WeChat has become a major source of information for IBD education in China, but the content of WeChat didn't fully meet patients' expectations. Therefore, future initiatives should aim to provide high-quality information that based on patients' demands.

Albumin absorbed by renal tubular epithelial cells induces inflammation and plays a key role in promoting diabetic kidney disease (DKD) progression. Macrophages are prominent inflammatory cells in the kidney, and their role there is dependent on their phenotypes. However, whether albuminuria influences macrophage phenotypes and underlying mechanisms during the development of DKD is still unclear. We found that M1 macrophage-related markers were increased in diabetes mellitus (DM) mouse renal tissues with the development of DKD, and coculture of extracellular vesicles (EVs) from human serum albumin (HSA)-induced HK-2 cells with macrophages induced macrophage M1 polarization in the presence of lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Through a bioinformatic analysis, miR-199a-5p was selected and found to be increased in EVs from HSA-induced HK-2 cells and in urinary EVs from DM patients with macroalbuminuria. Tail-vein injection of DM mice with EVs from HSA-induced HK-2 cells induced kidney macrophage M1 polarization and accelerated the progression of DKD through miR-199a-5p. miR-199a-5p exerted its effect by targeting Klotho, and Klotho induced macrophage M2 polarization through the Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) pathway both in vivo and in vitro. In summary, miR-199a-5p from HSA-stimulated HK-2 cell-derived EVs induces M1 polarization by targeting the Klotho/TLR4 pathway and further accelerates the progression of DKD.

Disordered intestinal flora and discordant immune response are associated with the development of ulcerative colitis (UC). Recent work has described the ability of macrophages to undergo repolarization toward a proinflammatory M1 or anti-inflammatory M2 phenotype in response to particular bacterium-derived signals. Fusobacterium nucleatum (F. nucleatum, Fn) is a species of intestinal commensal bacteria with potential pathogenicity, but its association with UC and how it may contribute to progression of UC is largely unknown. In this study, we provide new evidence that F. nucleatum accumulated heavily in the intestine of UC patients and was accompanied by the secretion of IFN-γ and the skewing of M1 macrophages. Mechanistically, our data showed that F. nucleatum aggravated dextran sodium sulfate (DSS)-induced colitis in the production of Th1-related cytokines IFN-γ through the AKT2 signaling pathway in vitro and in vivo. To further confirm the disease-relevance of these shifts in macrophage repolarization in response to F. nucleatum, stimulated bone marrow-derived macrophages (BMDMs) were transferred into recipient mice with DSS colitis. This transfer resulted in increased disease activity and inflammatory cytokine production. Taken together, we show clearly that F. nucleatum can promote the progression of UC via proinflammatory M1 macrophage skewing, and targeting F. nucleatum or AKT2 signaling may be a viable means of blocking development of UC.

The removal characteristics of various pollution factors in municipal wastewater by membrane-based physical and chemical treatment, especially the enrichment characteristics of dissolved organic matter, were investigated by high performance liquid chromatography and three-dimensional fluorescence spectroscopy. The results showed that the municipal wastewater had a low COD/TN ratio after the treatment. The micro-flocculation filtration mainly enriched the non-dissolvable organic matter in the raw water and aromatic protein substances with relative molecular mass greater than 30 000. The enrichment degree was up to 60.93%, especially for tyrosine-like and tryptophan-like substances. The dissolved organic matter (DOM) with a molecular weight greater than 30 000 was enriched fully by 0.45 µm and 0.22 µm acetate membranes, but the microfiltration membrane was not selective for the enrichment of organic matter. Thus, NF mainly enriched the fulvic acid and humic acid in urban sewage. The enrichment degree was 52.01% and 53.57%, respectively, and the total enrichment degree of dissolved organic matter was about 42%.

China's national development strategy now prioritizes environmental protection over economic growth, which has driven a rapid development of China's wastewater sector. In particular, the treatment capacity of municipal wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) has been substantially strengthened and stricter effluent quality control enforced. However, the operating performance of most WWTPs is still poor and does not meet the sustainable development demands. In this study, the current status of WWTPs operation in China was comprehensively analyzed, the key barriers to improving the plants operating efficiency were identified by taking into account the different plant scales, geographic distribution, discrepancy between cities and counties, and the influence of environmental policies and supplementary facilities. The underdeveloped sewer network was mainly responsible for the low operating ratios (i.e., utilization degree of the designed treatment capacity) of the plants (76% in counties and 85% in cities) especially for those in north China, although the situation is plant specific because a considerable fraction of plants (19%) are still running under overload condition. Other challenges include the high energy consumption of the plants (0.313 kWh/m3), and severely lagged implementation of sludge disposal (up to 40% sludge was still improperly disposed), arising mainly from the poor management on the sewer and sludge. Lastly, several possible directions of improvement to overcome these barriers were discussed. This work may provide valuable implications for optimizing municipal wastewater management in China towards higher efficiency and sustainability.

The difficulty of near-infrared (NIR) ratiometric detection imaging lies in the lack of high-efficiency NIR probes and the overlapping interference between two emission peaks. To achieve more accurate detection in living organisms, dual NIR-emissive luminescent nanoprobes were designed under the same excitation at 808 nm. The Er3+ ion-doped nanoparticles were employed as a reference with their fluorescence emission at 1525 nm. Meanwhile, a cyanine dye molecule (Cy925) was combined on the surface of nanoparticles as the ClO- recognition site with its NIR emission at 925 nm. The ratiometric nanoprobe relied on the ratio of aforementioned two separated NIR peaks ( I925nm/ I1525nm), featuring deeper imaging penetration depth and low autofluorescence. This nanoprobe was verified to be sensitive and highly selective to ClO- through photoluminescence titration. The in vitro detection experiment developed reasonable work curves, guaranteeing that we can detect the change in concentration of ClO- in mice limbs with arthritis through in vivo imaging experiments.
