RESUMO

The corpus callosum is the commissural bridge of white-matter bundles important for the human brain functions. Previous studies have analyzed the structural links between cortical gray-matter networks and subregions of corpus callosum. While meaningful white-matter functional networks (WM-FNs) were recently reported, how these networks functionally link with distinct subregions of corpus callosum remained unknown. The current study used resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging of the Human Connectome Project test-retest data to identify 10 cerebral WM-FNs in 119 healthy subjects and then parcellated the corpus callosum into distinct subregions based on the functional connectivity between each callosal voxel and above networks. Our results demonstrated the reproducible identification of WM-FNs and their links with known gray-matter functional networks across two runs. Furthermore, we identified reliably parcellated subregions of the corpus callosum, which might be involved in primary and higher order functional systems by functionally connecting with WM-FNs. The current study extended our knowledge about the white-matter functional signals to the intrinsic functional organization of human corpus callosum, which could help researchers understand the neural substrates underlying normal interhemispheric functional connectivity as well as dysfunctions in various mental disorders.

OBJECTIVE: Clinical diagnosis of SLE is currently challenging due to its heterogeneity. Many autoantibodies are associated with SLE and are considered potential diagnostic markers, but systematic screening and validation of such autoantibodies is lacking. This study aimed to systematically discover new autoantibodies that may be good biomarkers for use in SLE diagnosis. METHODS: Sera from 15 SLE patients and 5 healthy volunteers were analysed using human proteome microarrays to identify candidate SLE-related autoantibodies. The results were validated by screening of sera from 107 SLE patients, 94 healthy volunteers and 60 disease controls using focussed arrays comprised of autoantigens corresponding to the identified candidate antibodies. Logistic regression was used to derive and validate autoantibody panels that can discriminate SLE disease. Extensive ELISA screening of sera from 294 SLE patients and 461 controls was performed to validate one of the newly discovered autoantibodies. RESULTS: A total of 31, 11 and 18 autoantibodies were identified to be expressed at significantly higher levels in the SLE group than in the healthy volunteers, disease controls and healthy volunteers plus disease control groups, respectively, with 25, 7 and 13 of these differentially expressed autoantibodies being previously unreported. Diagnostic panels comprising anti-RPLP2, anti-SNRPC and anti-PARP1, and anti-RPLP2, anti-PARP1, anti-MAK16 and anti- RPL7A were selected. Performance of the newly discovered anti-MAK16 autoantibody was confirmed by ELISA. Some associations were seen with clinical characteristics of SLE patients, such as disease activity with the level of anti-PARP1 and rash with the level of anti-RPLP2, anti-MAK16 and anti- RPL7A. CONCLUSION: The combined autoantibody panels identified here show promise for the diagnosis of SLE and for differential diagnosis of other major rheumatic immune diseases.

Background. Neuroimaging studies of spinal cord injury (SCI) have mostly examined the functional organization of the cortex, with only limited focus on the subcortical substrates of the injury. However, thalamus is an important modulator and sensory relay that requires investigation at a subnuclei level to gain insight into the neuroplasticity following SCI. Objective. To use resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging to examine the functional connectivity (FC) of thalamic subnuclei in complete SCI patients. Methods. A seed-based connectivity analysis was applied for 3 thalamic subnuclei: pulvinar, mediodorsal, and ventrolateral nucleus in each hemisphere. A nonparametric 2-sample t test with permutations was applied for each of the 6 thalamic seeds to compute FC differences between 22 healthy controls and 19 complete SCI patients with paraplegia. Results. Connectivity analysis showed a decrease in the FC of the bilateral mediodorsal nucleus with right superior temporal gyrus and anterior cingulate cortex in the SCI group. Similarly, the left ventrolateral nucleus exhibited decreased FC with left superior temporal gyrus in SCI group. In contrast, left pulvinar nucleus demonstrated an increase in FC with left inferior frontal gyrus and left inferior parietal lobule in SCI group. Our findings also indicate a negative relationship between postinjury durations and thalamic FC to regions of sensorimotor and visual cortices, where longer postinjury durations (~12 months) is associated with higher negative connectivity between these regions. Conclusion. This study provides evidence for reorganization in the thalamocortical connections known to be involved in multisensory integration and affective processing, with possible implications in the generation of sensory abnormalities after SCI.

Recently, Braunschweig et al. found that borylene (CAAC)DurB, in which CAAC is a cyclic alkyl(amino) carbene and Dur refers to 2,3,5,6-tetramethylphenyl, can bind and activate N2 , and the resulting [(CAAC)DurB]2 N2 is of a bent BNNB core. The N2 ligand in transition metal complexes is generally linear, so herein, the bonding nature of both terminal end-on and end-on bridging borylene-N2 complexes is investigated with valence bond (VB) theory. In the terminal end-on (CAAC)HBN2 the bonding follows the mechanism in transition metals with a σ donation and a π back-donation, but in the end-on bridging borylene-N2 complex, the σ donation comes from the π orbitals of N2 , and thus, there are two opposite and perpendicular push-pull channels. It is the push-pull interaction that governs the enhanced activation of N2 and the BNNB bent geometry. It is expected that the substituents bonded to B can modulate the bent angle and the strength of the push-pull interaction. Indeed, (CAAC)FB exhibits enhanced catalytic capacity for the activation of N2 .

OBJECTIVES: CXC ligand 13 (CXCL13) is known as B cell chemotactic factor (BLC), promoting the migration of B lymphocytes by communicating with its receptor CXCR5, which can be regarded as part of pathogenesis of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA). This meta-analysis was to evaluate the circulating CXCL13 levels in SLE and RA. METHODS: All articles were respectively gathered from PubMed, Web of Science, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) (by the end of 10 April 2019). According to random effects model, standardized mean difference (SMD) and 95% confidence interval (CI) of CXCL13 levels in SLE and RA were calculated by Stata 12.0 software. RESULTS: Totally, 15 studies were selected (981 SLE patients and 380 healthy controls, 332 RA patients and 147 healthy controls). SLE and RA patients were significantly increased in circulating CXCL13 levels (SMD = 1.851, 95% CI 0.604-3.098; SMD = 1.801, 95% CI = 1.145-2.457). Subgroup analyses showed that SLE patients from the Chinese group and systemic lupus erythematosus disease activity index (SLEDAI) score ≥ 6 group had higher circulating CXCL13 levels (SMD = 2.182, 95% CI 0.135-4.229; SMD = 0.767, 95% CI 0.503-1.030). However, there were no significant changes in CXCL13 concentrations in SLE patients from the English and SLEDAI score < 6 group. Similarly, subgroup analyses presented that RA patients from different classifications showed higher circulating CXCL13 levels. There was no publication bias. CONCLUSIONS: This meta-analysis demonstrated increased circulating CXCL13 concentrations in SLE and RA patients. Circulating CXCL13 levels may act as biomarkers and therapy targets in the diagnosis and treatment of SLE and RA.Key Point• First, CXC ligand 13 (CXCL13) is closely related to the pathogenesis of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA), Second, this study may provide novel therapeutic targets for the treatment of SLE and RA patients. This meta-analysis provides a comprehensive analysis of circulating CXCL13 levels in patients with SLE and RA and also explores related influencing factors.

In this study, a multiple-legged and highly integrated DNA rolling walker based electrochemical biosensor was developed for ultrasensitive ctDNA analysis through rolling circle amplification (RCA) with doxorubicin@tetrahedron-Au (DOX@TDN-Au) as electrochemical indicator. Upon target-driven RCA, the multiple-legged walker could move along with the predesigned track by strand displacement reactions, resulting in numbers of legs binding irreversibly to iStep probes. The binding of massive legs to iStep probes could effectively impede DOX@TDN-Au tags binding on the surface of sensor and then reached a "signal off" state. Benefiting from the highly amplified efficiency of rolling walker machine and DOX@TDN-Au tags, the established biosensor performed high sensitivity for target detection with a low limit of detection down to 0.29 fM. Moreover, the target ctDNA could hybridize with the ring and capture probe simultaneously, greatly enhancing the specificity of the developed biosensing method. Thus, this biosensing method is a promising tool for detection of ctDNA in the field of clinical diagnostic and tumor progression assessment.

We analyze the stable isotope characteristics and vapor source of precipitation in a monsoon marginal area in the southern and northern slopes of Wushaoling Mountain, northwestern China, using 97 precipitation samples collected from October 2016 to October 2017. Correlation analysis and HYSPLIT model are used to study the characteristics of stable isotopes in precipitation, local meteoric water line equation, temperature and precipitation effects, and vapor source. The study found the following results. ① The slope and intercept of the southern slope local meteoric water line were lower than of those of the northern slope and global averages. ② Although the isotope temperature effects and seasonal effects of both slopes were obvious, the temperature effect of the northern slope was more obvious than of that of the southern slope. ③ The stable isotopes of precipitation during the summer on the northern slope and the precipitation on the southern slope<5 mm revealed that the precipitation effect was weak. There was no obvious precipitation effect in other seasons or in other precipitation levels on both slopes. ④ Vapor from the northwest and north accounted for>90% of the total. The northern slope was rarely affected by monsoon vapor, but the southern slope was affected by the southeast monsoon during the summer. Local water vapor recycling contributed to water vapor in the southern and northern slopes of Wushaoling Mountain. This study could improve the cognition of precipitation isotopic evolution in alpine regions, and lays a foundation for further research on isotope hydrology in cold and arid regions.

Two new guaiane sesquiterpenes, 7-(1-hydroxyethyl)-4-methyl-1-azulenecarboxaldehyde (1) and 7-isopropenyl-4-methyl-1-azulenecarboxylic acid (2), together with 5 known sesquiterpenes, were isolated from the fruiting bodies of Lactarius deliciosus. All structures were elucidated based on extensive spectroscopic methods, including 1 D and 2 D-NMR spectroscopy and high resolution mass spectrometry.

A deconstructive oxygenation of unstrained primary cycloalkanamines has been developed for the first time using an auto-oxidative aromatization promoted C(sp3 )-C(sp3 ) bond cleavage strategy. This metal-free method involves the substitution reaction of cycloalkanamines with hydrazonyl chlorides and subsequent auto-oxidative annulation to in situ generate pre-aromatics, followed by N-radical-promoted ring-opening and further oxygenation by 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxyl (TEMPO) and m-cholorperoxybenzoic acid (mCPBA). Consequently, a series of 1,2,4-triazole-containing acyclic carbonyl compounds were efficiently produced. This protocol features a one-pot operation, mild reaction conditions, high regioselectivity and ring-opening efficiency, broad substrate scope, and is compatible with alkaloids, osamines, and peptides, as well as steroids.

Orbital angular momentum (OAM) of light has been extensively studied during the past two decades. Till now, it is a formidable challenge to dynamically manipulate OAM in fast switching speed, good beam quality and low power consumption. Here, an alternative strategy is proposed through the combination of the uniformly-aligned ferroelectric liquid crystal (FLC) and the space-variant photo-patterned nematic liquid crystal. Owing to the excellent electro-optical properties of the adopted FLC, the high-performance electrical switching of OAM, especially, its helicity and the superposed state (i.e., the cylindrical vector beam), can be realized in good quality and high efficiency. The symmetric switching time is down to 120 µs even at a very low driving voltage of 1.7 V/µm. This supplies a practical and universal method towards high-frequency manipulation of OAM and other structured beams.

This study is based on precipitation samples from eight sites at the northern slope of the Qilian Mountains, combined with meteorological factors over the same period. Precipitation isotope characteristics, influence factors and the vapor sources of precipitation were analyzed, and the results show that:① The stable isotopes of precipitation in the study area show obvious seasonal changes, which are characterized by enrichment in the summer half-year and depletion in the winter half-year. The spatial precipitation δ18O value shows a significant downward trend with increasing altitude, and the altitude effect of the annual precipitation δ18O is -0.19‰/100 m, respectively;② At all stations, the slope and intercept of local meteoric water lines show an increasing trend from low altitude to high altitude. The high-altitude mountains above 2000 m are affected by local water vapor recirculation;③ The temperature effect is more significant and the temperature effect of δ18O is 0.64‰, and there is only a weak precipitation effect in summer;④ The results indicate that sub-cloud evaporation has a great influence on the δ18O of precipitation; the average raindrop evaporation rate of δ18O is 23%, 11%, 12%, and 16%,and the δ18O composition has been enriched by 46%, 27%, 38%, and 32% in May, June, July, and August from cloud base to ground, respectively.⑤ Under the condition of continuous rainfall in summer, the vapor sources of precipitation mainly come from the west and are affected by local evaporation of water vapor. The study enhances knowledge of isotopic evolution of precipitation and provides a basis for further study of isotopic hydrology in arid regions.

Backgrounds: Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) play an important role in various biological processes. However, their functions in salt-sensitive hypertension are largely unknown. In this study, the lncRNA-seq technique was employed to compare the expression profiles of lncRNAs and mRNAs in salt-sensitive hypertensive rats. Methods: Blood pressure, serum sodium, and urinary creatinine were texted in salt-sensitive and salt-insensitive rats fed with different salt concentrations. High-throughput sequencing was used to detect the expression of lncRNAs and mRNA in the renal medulla of the two groups. Results: Blood pressure and urinary sodium/creatinine of high-salt diets of the sensitive group were significantly higher than that in the control group. Serum sodium has no significant difference between the two groups in high-salt diets. NONRATG007131.2 and NONRATG012674.2 were the most different lncRNAs in the high salt-sensitive group. Correlation analysis reveals that Matn1, Serpinb12, Anxa8, and Hspa5 may play an important role in salt-sensitive hypertension. Conclusion: This study analyzed the difference in lncRNA and mRNA between salt-sensitive and salt-insensitive rats with different salt diets by high-throughput sequencing. Salt sensitivity and salt concentration were two key factors for the induction of hypertension. We found some potential genes that play an important role in salt-sensitive hypertension.

The contents of terrestrosin D and hecogenin from Tribuli Fructus were determined before and after stir-frying. The results showed that the content of terrestrosin D was decreased significantly,and the content of hecogenin was increased significantly after such processing. In order to verify the inference that terrestrosin D was converted to hecogenin by stir-frying,the quantitative variation rules of terrestrosin D and hecogenin were studied by simulated processing technology,and the simulated processing product of terrestrosin D was qualitatively characterized by ultra performance liquid chromatography/time of flight mass spectrometry( UPLC-TOF/MS) to clarify its transformation process during stir-frying. The results showed that the content of terrestrosin D was decreased significantly at first and then a platform stage appeared with the prolongation of processing time at a certain temperature. Raising the stir-frying temperature could further decrease the content of terrestrosin D and delay the time that the platform stage appeared. When the processing was simulated at higher temperatures( 220 ℃ and 240 ℃),the content of hecogenin was increased gradually with the increase of processing temperature and the prolongation of processing time. In the process of stir-frying,the deglycosylation reaction of terrestrosin D to hecogenin was not completed in one step. The deglycosylation reaction occurred first at the end of the sugar chain,and then other glycosyl units in the sugar chain were sequentially removed from the outside to the inside to finally form the hecogenin. This study provides a basis for further revealing the detoxification mechanism of stir-fried Tribuli Fructus.

The contents of terrestroside B and terrestrosin K in Tribuli Fructus with different degree of stir-frying were determined by high performance liquid chromatography with evaporative light-scattering detector( HPLC-ELSD). The results showed that the contents of terrestroside B and terrestrosin K were increased at first and then decreased,and both of them had the highest content at the best time of heating. The results of simulated processing of Tribulus Terrestris saponins showed that when the processing time kept constant,the contents of terrestroside B and terrestrosin K were decreased gradually with the increase of processing temperature from 180 ℃ to240 ℃. At a certain temperature,the content of terrestrosin K was increased first and then decreased with the prolongation of processing time,and reached the highest level at 5 min. However,the content of terrestroside B was increased first and then decreased with the increase of processing time only at 180 ℃,and reached the highest level at 10 min. When the processing temperature was controlled at200,220 and 240 ℃ respectively,the content of terrestroside B was decreased gradually with the increase of processing time. The simulated processing products of tribuluside A,terrestroside B and terrestrosin K were qualitatively characterized by ultra-performance liquid chromatography-time of flight mass spectrometry( UPLC-TOF/MS). It was proved that tribuluside A and terrestrosin Ⅰ containing C-22-OH were dehydroxylated in the processing of Tribuli Fructus and transformed respectively into terrestroside B and terrestrosin K containing C-20-C-22 double bond. As a result,the contents of terrestroside B and terrestrosin K were increased. The sugar chains at C-3 and C-26 positions of terrestroside B and terrestrosin K could be deglycosylated and converted into monosaccharide chain saponins and short sugar chain saponins,so the contents of terrestroside B and terrestrosin K were reduced. The study provides reference for further revealing the processing principle of Tribuli Fructus.

The aim of this paper was to systematically evaluate the toxicity-reducing effect of Tripterygium-licorice in animal experiments,and also to provide evidence for basic research on the toxicity reduction of Tripterygium wilfordii. The PubMed,EMbase,Web of Science,CBM,CNKI and Wan Fang Databases from their establishment to August 31 th,2018 were searched. Two independent reviewers screened the papers,extracted the data,assessed the risk of bias using SYRCLE assessment tool and conducted Meta-analysis with Rev Man 5. 3 software. A total of 10 papers involving 31 studies were finally included,15 studies of which were used for Meta-analysis. Four studies were included for chronic hepatotoxicity animal model. In experimental group( 34 animals),Tripterygium was administered at dose of 0. 09-0. 1 mg·kg-1·d-1,and glycyrrhizic acid was administered at dose of 90-100 mg·kg-1,both for 2 weeks; in control group( 34 animals),glycyrrhizic acid was replaced with equal volume of normal saline. Eleven studies were included for acute hepatotoxicity animal model. In experimental group( 66 animals),glycyrrhizic acid was administered at dose of 75-480 mg·kg-1 for 7 days,then glycyrrhizic acid was stopped,and Tripterygium began to be administered at dose of 0. 6-1. 0 mg·kg-1 per 24 h or 48 h for a total of 1-2 times; in control group( 66 animals),glycyrrhizic acid was replaced with equal volume of normal saline or corresponding solvent. The results of Meta-analysis showed that in both chronic hepatotoxicity animal model and acute hepatotoxicity animal model,the transaminase levels in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group( P < 0. 05). Subgroup analysis of acute hepatotoxicity animal model showed that the transaminase levels in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group for every subgroup except " glycyrrhizic acid 75 mg·kg-1" subgroup. However,in terms of the mean difference( MD) and confidence interval( CI),there was no significant difference in transaminase decline between each subgroup. Low dose of glycyrrhizic acid( 90-100 mg·kg-1) has a toxicity-reduction effect on chronic hepatotoxicity induced by tripterygium( 0. 09-0. 10 mg·kg-1). Middle and high doses of glycyrrhizic acid( 120-480 mg·kg-1) have a toxicity-reduction effect on acute hepatotoxicity induced by tripterygium( 0. 6-1. 0 mg·kg-1),but with no significant dose-effect relationship.

This work comparatively studied the catalytic effect of MgO and MgCO3 on pyrolysis of rice husk (RH). The apparent activation energy (E) was reduced significantly by pyrolysis of RH with MgCO3, thus lowering the decomposition temperature during pyrolysis. MgO could not obviously influence the gas evolution during pyrolysis, while MgCO3 had a better performance on the syngas (H2 and CO) generation at around 600-700 °C. Also, the generation of CO2 was suppressed by the RH pyrolysis with MgCO3. The phenols were the dominant compounds in the bio-oil derived from RH. Furthermore, co-pyrolysis of RH and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in the presence of MgO or MgCO3 at 600 °C could improve the oils quality by decreasing the acids content and increasing the hydrocarbons content. Particularly, the resulting oils had high hydrocarbons content (>35%) and low acids content (<2%). The decrease of acids, alcohols, and phenols contributed to the increase of hydrocarbons.

Depression has become a common mental illness, and studies have shown that neuroinflammation is associated with depression. Ketamine is a rapid antidepressant. In order to obtain better antidepressant effects, it is necessary to explore the efficacy of combination therapy with ketamine and other antidepressants. DHA is an unsaturated fatty acid with excellent application prospects due to its safety and antidepressant effects. This study was designed to investigate the effect of ketamine combined with DHA on lipopolysaccharide-induced depression-like behavior. In behavioral experiments, lipopolysaccharide prolongs the immobility time of the forced swimming and tail suspension tests in rats and reduces the sucrose preference. The combination of ketamine and DHA can reverse these changes and work better than the single application. Nissl staining showed that ketamine combined with DHA can reverse the nerve damage caused by lipopolysaccharide. Cell morphology observation the combination of ketamine and DHA group was more complete than that of LPS group. The combination of ketamine and DHA significantly decreased the levels of IL-1, IL-6 and TNF-ɑin hippocampus and PC12 cells and increased the content of BDNF. Immunofluorescence results showed that ketamine combined with DHA can effectively inhibit PP65 nuclear translocation. Western blot results showed that ketamine combined with DHA can effectively inhibit the expression of NF-KB in hippocampus and PC12 cells, and increase the expression of P-CREB and BDNF. In summary, the combination of ketamine with DHA may be a more effective treatment for depression caused by inflammation and is mediated by inhibition of the inflammatory pathway.

Objective: Handgrip strength (HGS) exercise has been reported to reduce blood pressure in both hypertensive and normotensive patients. In this study, we evaluated the association of HGS with hypertension in a Chinese Han Population. Methods: A total of 11,151 subjects mainly consisting of a rural population were recruited with a multi-stage sampling method in Jurong city, Jiangsu Province, China. Besides hypertension and diabetes, major chronic diseases were excluded. HGS was categorized into tertiles by age and gender. Logistic regression was used to estimate the association of HGS and hypertension with the odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence interval (CI). Results: From low to high tertiles of HGS, diastolic blood pressure (DBP) was significantly increased (74.52 ± 7.39, 74.70 ± 7.03, and 75.54 ± 7.01 mmHg, respectively; P trend = 0.001), as well as in females (P trend =0.003). The differences in DBP among the tertiles of HGS were still significant in females even after adjusting for covariates (P trend =0.048). No significant differences in systolic blood pressure (SBP) were observed among the tertiles of HGS (P>0.05). Compared to low HGS, high HGS was significantly associated with hypertension after adjustment for age and gender (adjusted OR, 1.19; 95% CI, 1.06-1.34; P =0.004). A stratified analysis showed that the significant association of high HGS and hypertension was also observed with the following factors even after adjusting for age and gender: female gender (adjusted OR, 1.25; 95% CI, 1.08-1.46; P=0.004), ages of 60-69 years (adjusted OR, 1.29; 95% CI, 1.06-1.57; P=0.011), and married (adjusted OR, 1.20; 95% CI, 1.06-1.37; P=0.005). However, no significant associations were found after adjusting for age, gender, smoking status, drinking status, body mass index, physical activity level, glucose, high- and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, total cholesterol, and triglyceride (P>0.05). Conclusion: The findings of the current study suggest that HGS was positively correlated with DBP in a rural population, and high HGS was associated with hypertension in females; however, the association may be modified by smoking status, drinking status, body mass index, physical activity, cholesterol level, and glucose level. Further utilization of HGS exercises to intervene in the development and prognosis of hypertension should be verified in the future.

Circular RNAs (circRNAs) with regulatory potency activity was identified from varieties of species. Crucian carp (Carassius auratus gibelio) is one of the most freshwater aquaculture species in China. Every year, huge economic damage to the farming was caused by the virus and bacterial infection. Until now, there is any information about circRNA reported from the Crucian carp. In this study, the expression pattern of circRNA in Crucian carp was investigated with transcriptomic analysis. The results showed that only 37 circRNAs were identified from the Crucian carp, and these circRNAs biogenesis was formed with canonical GU-AG splicing mechanism with unevenly distributed on the chromosomes. Wherein, most of the circRNAs were derived from the sense overlapping strategy. Reverse transcript PCR and Sanger sequencing data indicated that these circRNAs were existed authenticity in Crucian carp. The bioinformatics analysis indicated that circRNAs identified from the Crucian carp with potential miRNA sponge regulate the expression level of mRNAs. GO annotation and KEGG pathway analysis of these circRNAs showed that more than 20% circRNAs were related with catalytic activity and binding in the category of molecular function, and these circRNAs were enriched in 9 signaling pathways, such as, Wnt signaling pathway, MAPK signaling pathway, Ubiquitin mediated proteolysis et al. 220 mRNAs would be regulated by the circRNAs via miRNAs mediation. These target mRNAs were further analyzed with functional annotation and KEGG analysis. GO annotation analysis showed that several genes were related with function of nucleotide binding, transcription regulatory activity. KEGG pathway analysis showed that 5 genes were enriched in the pathway of Endocytosis. The circRNA-miRNA-mRNA regulation network indicated that one miRNA can link one or more circRNA and one or more mRNA. Overall, these results will not only help us to further understand the novel RNA transcripts in Crucian carp, but also provide the novel clue to investigate the interaction between host and pathogens from this novel circRNA molecule.
