In spite of the widespread use of functional appliances, broad variations were applied the treatment response. The aim of this study is to investigate the pre-treatment cephalometric predictors on the chin advancement of twin-block in growing Chinese patients with class II malocclusion. After screening, 90 patients treated by twin-block were included in the study. The treatment outcome was assessed by the alterations in the distance of skeletal pogonion (Pog) to the vertical reference plane perpendicular to the Frankfurt plane (ΔPog-VRP). Moreover, ΔPog-VRP was divided by the cranial growth indicated by the Nasion to Basion changes (ΔN-Ba) to minimize the growth discrepancy among individuals (adjΔPog-VRP). Patients with ΔPog-VRP/adjΔPog-VRP above the median value were categorized into good response group (GRG/adjGRG, N = 45), while the rest were poor response group (PRG/adjPRG, N = 45). Independent t-test was used to compare the pre-treatment cephalometric measurements between GRG/adjGRG and PRG/adjPRG. Stepwise multivariate regression models were used to determine the pre-treatment cephalometric predictors for the chin advancement. Generally, there were not any significant differences between GRG/adjGRG and PRG/adjPRG regarding age, gender and cervical stage before twin-block treatment. Patients from GRG had significantly reduced cephalometric measurements in the vertical dimensions, including ∠N-Go-Me, ∠Mandibular plane-Occlusal plane (∠MP-OP) and the sum of angles (p < 0.05) in comparison to PRG. When the individual growth was taken account, similar findings were observed. The patients from adjGRG had a significantly lower ∠Sella Nasion line-MP (∠SN-MP), ∠Ar-Go-Me and ∠N-Go-Me, as well as an increased Posterior facial height (PFH)/Anterior facial height (AFH) (p < 0.05) compared with their counterparts. ∠N-Go-Me variable was the independent predictor on Pog advancement with (ß = -0.26, 95% CI: -0.06 to -0.01, p = 0.01) and without (ß = -0.29, 95% CI: -0.06 to -0.01, p < 0.01) adjustments on individual growth. The results of this study showed that patients with a reduced N-Go-Me angle are more likely to experience a greater chin advancement following twin-block treatment.

BACKGROUND: The network theory posits that depression emerges as the result of individual symptoms triggering each other. Risk factors for depression can impact these between-symptoms interactions through extended networks. The study aimed to model the extended network of depressive symptoms and known depression risk factors - objective cognitive function, intellectual, physical, and social daily activities, and then, compare the observed networks between monozygotic (MZ) and dizygotic (DZ) co-twins. METHODS: Twin pairs, 722 MZ and 2200 DZ, aged 40-79, were selected from the Dansh Twin Registry for having complete measures of depressive symptoms (e.g., sadness), cognitive functions (e.g., verbal memory), physical (e.g., brisk walk), intellectual (e.g., reading newspapers) and social activities (e.g., phone calls). Gaussian graphical models were used to estimate and compare the networks first between co-twins and then, between MZ to DZ twin pairs separately. RESULTS: Specific intellectual, physical and social activities were central in the extended networks of depressive symptoms and, with the exception of processing speed, more central than cognition. The extended networks' structure was more homogeneous between MZ co-twins relative to DZ co-twins. Cognitive nodes were more central in MZ than DZ co-twins. LIMITATIONS: Cross-sectional design, participants were middle-aged or older, mostly affective (non-somatic) depressive symptoms. CONCLUSIONS: In depression networks, core connecting elements were intellectual, physical and social activities. The interaction between cognition and daily activities seems critical for triggering depressive symptoms. Thus, clinical interventions aimed at preventing depression and associated cognitive deficits should focus on maintenance and/or engagement in stimulating daily activities.

OBJECTIVE: We aimed to create specific growth velocity reference charts for monochorionic (MC) twin pregnancies and provide additional information for assessing fetal growth in MC twins. STUDY DESIGN: This retrospective study collected data from uncomplicated MC twins with serial ultrasound parameters. The four ultrasound parameters, including biparietal diameter, femur length, head circumference, and abdominal circumference, were used to calculate the estimated fetal weight (EFW). Multilevel linear regression models were applied to fit growth velocity charts for each biometric parameter and EFW. Analysis of variance was used to examine differences in birthweight by whether EFW velocity and EFW values were <10th or ≥10th percentiles. RESULTS: The final analysis encompassed a total of 5956 ultrasound examinations conducted on 487 MC twins. The growth velocity of four biparietal diameters exhibited a gradual decrease in a nearly linear fashion progressing from 18 to 37 gestational weeks. The EFW velocity increased steadily from 18 to 36 gestational weeks, reaching a peak of 178.2 g/week, and then the velocity gradually decreased until delivery. At 32 weeks for illustration, the lightest birth weight was observed when both EFW and EFW velocity were <10th percentile (1899 g). The study also found that birth weight was higher when EFW velocity was ≥10th percentile compared with <10th percentile, regardless of EFW being below or above the 10th percentile (2263 and 1906 g, respectively; P < 0.001). CONCLUSION: We developed specific growth velocity reference charts for MC twins, which could provide a valuable reference point for a more precise evaluation of fetal growth in MC twins. Preliminary findings indicate that the inclusion of fetal growth velocity in monitoring fetal growth provides additional information beyond EFW alone.

The bio-pharmaceutical industry heavily relies on mammalian cells for the production of bio-therapeutic proteins. The complexity of implementing and high cost-of-goods of these processes are currently limiting more widespread patient access. This is driving efforts to enhance cell culture productivity and cost reduction. Upstream process intensification (PI), using perfusion approaches in the seed train and/or the main bioreactor, has shown substantial promise to enhance productivity. However, developing optimal process conditions for perfusion-based processes remain challenging due to resource and time constraints. Model-based optimization offers a solution by systematically screening process parameters like temperature, pH, and culture media to find the optimum conditions in silico. To our knowledge, this is the first experimentally validated model to explain the perfusion dynamics under different operating conditions and scales for process optimization. The hybrid model accurately describes Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell culture growth dynamics and a neural network model explains the production of mAb, allowing for optimization of media exchange rates. Results from six perfusion runs in Ambr® 250 demonstrated high accuracy, confirming the model's utility. Further, the implementation of dynamic media exchange rate schedule determined through model-based optimization resulted in 50% increase in volumetric productivity. Additionally, two 5 L-scale experiments validated the model's reliable extrapolation capabilities to large bioreactors. This approach could reduce the number of wet lab experiments needed for culture process optimization, offering a promising avenue for improving productivity, cost-of-goods in bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing, in turn improving patient access to pivotal medicine.

We present a rare case of dichorionic diamniotic twin anencephaly and exencephaly discovered in a 35-year-old female at 13.1 weeks of gestation. Anencephaly and exencephaly are neural tube defects (NTD) with devastating consequences caused by the failure of the anterior neural groove closure leading to exencephaly, followed by brain disintegration causing anencephaly. While NTD themselves are common congenital anomalies, their presence in both twins of a dichorionic diamniotic gestation is exceedingly rare and has only been documented in one other instance. The uncertainty surrounding risk factors involved in this specific case underscores the importance of ongoing research to elucidate other potential determinants in the pathogenesis of NTD and to discover novel preventive strategies, particularly in twin pregnancies. Future research endeavors should explore the interplay of genetic, environmental, and other anomalous factors to deepen our understanding and improve clinical outcomes for affected pregnancies.

BACKGROUND: While ambient air pollution has been associated with fetal growth in singletons, its correlation among twins is not well-established due to limited research in this area. METHODS: The effects of exposure to PM2.5 particulate matter and its main components during pregnancy on birth weight and the incidence of large for gestational age (LGA) were investigated in 6177 twins born after in vitro fertilization at the Center for Reproductive Medicine of Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital (Shanghai, China) between 2007 and 2021. Other birth weight-related outcomes included macrosomia, low birth weight, very low birth weight, and small for gestational age (SGA). The associations of PM2.5 exposure with birth weight outcomes were analyzed using linear mixed-effect models and random-effect logistic regression models. Distributed lag models were incorporated to estimate the time-varying associations. RESULTS: The findings revealed that an interquartile range (IQR) increase (18 µg/m3) in PM2.5 exposure over the entire pregnancy was associated with a significant increase (57.06 g, 95 % confidence interval [CI]: 30.91, 83.22) in the total birth weight of twins. The effect was more pronounced in larger fetuses (34.93 g, 95 % CI: 21.13, 48.72) compared to smaller fetuses (21.77 g, 95 % CI: 6.94, 36.60) within twin pregnancies. Additionally, an IQR increase in PM2.5 exposure over the entire pregnancy was associated with a 34 % increase in the risk of LGA (95 % CI: 11 %, 63 %). Furthermore, specific chemical components of PM2.5, such as sulfate (SO42-), exhibited effect estimates comparable to the PM2.5 total mass. CONCLUSION: Overall, the findings indicate that exposures to PM2.5 and its specific components are associated with fetal overgrowth in twins.

BACKGROUND: Cardiometabolic diseases (CMDs) including heart disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes have been individually linked to depression. However, their combined impact on depression risk is unclear. We aimed to examine the association between cardiometabolic multimorbidity and depression and explore the role of genetic background in this association. METHODS: Within the Swedish Twin Registry, 40,080 depression-free individuals (mean age 60 years) were followed for 18 years. Cardiometabolic multimorbidity was defined as having ≥2 CMDs. CMDs and depression were ascertained based on the National Patient Register. Cox regression was used to estimate the CMD-depression association in a classical cohort study design and a matched co-twin design involving 176 twin pairs. By comparing the associations between monozygotic and dizygotic co-twins, the contribution of genetic background was estimated. RESULTS: At baseline, 4809 (12.0%) participants had one CMD and 969 (2.4%) had ≥2 CMDs. Over the follow-up period, 1361 participants developed depression. In the classical cohort design, the multi-adjusted hazard ratios (95% confidence interval [CIs]) of depression were 1.52 (1.31-1.76) for those with one CMD and 1.83 (1.29-2.58) for those with ≥2 CMDs. CMDs had a greater risk effect on depression if they developed in mid-life (<60 years) as opposed to late life (≥60 years). In matched co-twin analysis, the CMD-depression association was significant among dizygotic twins (HR = 1.63, 95% CI, 1.02-2.59) but not monozygotic twins (HR = 0.90, 95% CI, 0.32-2.51). CONCLUSIONS: Cardiometabolic multimorbidity is associated with an elevated risk of depression. Genetic factors may contribute to the association between CMDs and depression.

The study herein evaluated and compared the efficacy of Clear Aligners (CA) and Twin-Block (TB) appliances as the early orthodontic treatments of developing class II division 1 malocclusion. Twenty-four patients each for CA (11.73 ± 0.33 y) and TB (11.87 ± 0.34 y) groups were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The cephalometric X-rays and intraoral photos were taken for the patients after nearly 12 months of treatment. Treatment impacts were evaluated by the molar correction and overjet reduction. The vertical and sagittal changes were analyzed through cephalometric measurements. Sella-nasion-point B angle (SNB), point A-nasion-point B angle (ANB), Wits Appraisal (AO-BO) and overjet were statistically significant regarding the sagittal changes analyzed before and after the treatments in both groups, respectively. So, no significant difference was noted in the sagittal changes between CA and TB groups. However, for the vertical changes, OP (occlusal plane) angle of CA group and OP angle, AFH (anterior facial height) and PFH (posterior facial height) of TB group were statistically significant. Moreover, the Z angle and cranial facial difficulty (C.F. difficulty) were also statistically significant in both groups. Class II children with retrognathic mandible are effectively treated by employing the CA, which has almost the same impact as of TB in sagittal and vertical changes. Resultantly, the patient profile is improved. The CA and TB treatments thus minimize the subsequent treatment difficulty by reducing the C.F. difficulty.

There is a growing need to implement modern technologies, such as digital twinning, to improve the efficiency of transport fleet maintenance processes and maintain company operational capacity at the required level. A comprehensive review of the existing literature is conducted to address this, offering an up-to-date analysis of relevant content in this field. The methodology employed is a systematic literature review using the Primo multi-search tool, adhering to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. The selection criteria focused on English studies published between 2012 and 2024, resulting in 201 highly relevant papers. These papers were categorized into seven groups: (a) air transportation, (b) railway transportation, (c) land transportation (road), (d) in-house logistics, (e) water and intermodal transportation, (f) supply chain operation, and (g) other applications. A notable strength of this study is its use of diverse scientific databases facilitated by the multi-search tool. Additionally, a bibliometric analysis was performed, revealing the evolution of DT applications over the past decade and identifying key areas such as predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and decision-making processes. This study highlights the varied levels of adoption across different transport sectors and underscores promising areas for future development, particularly in underrepresented domains like supply chains and water transport. Additionally, this paper identifies significant research gaps, including integration challenges, real-time data processing, and standardization needs. Future research directions are proposed, focusing on enhancing predictive diagnostics, automating maintenance processes, and optimizing inventory management. This study also outlines a framework for DT in transportation systems, detailing key components and functionalities essential for effective maintenance management. The findings provide a roadmap for future innovations and improvements in DT applications within the transportation industry. This study ends with conclusions and future research directions.

Herein, we report on the translation of a small scale ball-milled amidation protocol into a large scale continuous reactive extrusion process. Critical components to the successful translation were: a) understanding how the different operating parameters of a twin-screw extruder should be harnessed to control prolonged continuous operation, and b) consideration of the physical form of the input materials. The amidation reaction is applied to 36 amides spanning a variety of physical form combinations (liquid-liquid, solid-liquid and solid-solid). Following this learning process, we have developed an understanding for the translation of each physical form combination and demonstrated a 7-hour reactive extrusion process for the synthesis of an amide on 500 gram scale (1.3 mols of product).

Peripartum hysterectomy (PH) is usually undertaken in cases of life-threatening obstetric haemorrhage to prevent the death of the mother. Obstetric haemorrhage, a leading indication for PH, is a major cause of maternal deaths globally, particularly in regions with limited access to advanced medical care. The cause of the per vaginal bleeding was due to the patient in labour with a cervical stitch, and immediate action was taken in the form of a lower segment caesarean section. After the patient's abdominal drain is noticed with fresh blood collection, an emergency obstetric hysterectomy is done.

This study examines the role of genes and environments in predicting educational outcomes. We test the Scarr-Rowe hypothesis, suggesting that enriched environments enable genetic potential to unfold, and the compensatory advantage hypothesis, proposing that low genetic endowments have less impact on education for children from high socioeconomic status (SES) families. We use a pre-registered design with Netherlands Twin Register data (426 ≤ N individuals ≤ 3875). We build polygenic indexes (PGIs) for cognitive and noncognitive skills to predict seven educational outcomes from childhood to adulthood across three designs (between-family, within-family, and trio) accounting for different confounding sources, totalling 42 analyses. Cognitive PGIs, noncognitive PGIs, and parental education positively predict educational outcomes. Providing partial support for the compensatory hypothesis, 39/42 PGI × SES interactions are negative, with 7 reaching statistical significance under Romano-Wolf and 3 under the more conservative Bonferroni multiple testing corrections (p-value < 0.007). In contrast, the Scarr-Rowe hypothesis lacks empirical support, with just 2 non-significant and 1 significant (not surviving Romano-Wolf) positive interactions. Overall, we emphasise the need for future replication studies in larger samples. Our findings demonstrate the value of merging social-stratification and behavioural-genetic theories to better understand the intricate interplay between genetic factors and social contexts.

Objective: Data sharing promotes the scientific progress. However, not all data can be shared freely due to privacy issues. This work is intended to foster FAIR sharing of sensitive data exemplary in the biomedical domain, via an integrated computational approach for utilizing and enriching individual datasets by scientists without coding experience. Methods: We present an in silico pipeline for openly sharing controlled materials by generating synthetic data. Additionally, it addresses the issue of inexperience to computational methods in a non-IT-affine domain by making use of a cyberinfrastructure that runs and enables sharing of computational notebooks without the need of local software installation. The use of a digital twin based on cancer datasets serves as exemplary use case for making biomedical data openly available. Quantitative and qualitative validation of model output as well as a study on user experience are conducted. Results: The metadata approach describes generalizable descriptors for computational models, and outlines how to profit from existing data resources for validating computational models. The use of a virtual lab book cooperatively developed using a cloud-based data management and analysis system functions as showcase enabling easy interaction between users. Qualitative testing revealed a necessity for comprehensive guidelines furthering acceptance by various users. Conclusion: The introduced framework presents an integrated approach for data generation and interpolating incomplete data, promoting Open Science through reproducibility of results and methods. The system can be expanded from the biomedical to any other domain while future studies integrating an enhanced graphical user interface could increase interdisciplinary applicability.

Skeletal class III malocclusion is a therapeutic challenge in orthodontic practice. Reverse functional appliances such as reverse twin block (RTB) are used to correct class III skeletal and occlusal disharmonies associated with functional anterior shift in growing patients. However, treatment options become limited with increasing age, especially when patients desire nonsurgical and nonextraction camouflage treatment. This report illustrates the successful nonsurgical treatment of class III malocclusion during adolescence and adulthood, exacerbated by a functional anterior shift that resulted in overclosure of the mandible. A modified fixed RTB was utilized to posture the mandible backwards, thereby inducing active clockwise rotation of the mandible. After treatment, patients demonstrated significantly improved maxillomandibular relationships, well-maintained stable occlusion, and facial esthetics. Satisfactory occlusal, esthetic, and functional outcomes achieved in the present cases underline the fact that dentoalveolar changes induced by fixed RTB can be utilized even past a patient's peak pubertal growth period to obtain changes that aid in correcting a class III malocclusion. A synergistic combination of modified fixed RTB therapy accompanied by comprehensive fixed mechanotherapy is a viable treatment alternative for the correction of aptly selected mild to moderate skeletal class III malocclusions associated with functional anterior shift, anterior crossbites, and mandibular overclosure.

The extrusion process, a vital technique for starch modification, is notably influenced by the moisture content (MC). This study aimed to elucidate the effect of varying MC levels (18, 22, 26, and 30%) on the structural and physicochemical characteristics of cassava flour during extrusion. Extrusion resulted in the fraction of degree of polymerization 13‒24, degree of branching, and molecular weight increased with increasing MC, with values of above indexes being 32.29%, 1.05%, and 1.21 × 105 g/mol, respectively, at a MC of 18%. This suggested that the degradation of amylopectin and amylose. Additionally, there was an increase in rapidly digestible starch (RDS) and a decrease in slowly digestible starch (SDS) in the extrudates in comparison to the native cassava flour. The extrusion of cassava flour at 18% MC exhibited the highest levels of RDS and SDS, reaching 64.52% and 4.06%, respectively. These findings indicated that low moisture extrusion could be a more effective method for disrupting the structure of cassava starch and enhancing the digestibility of cassava flour, offering valuable insights for the optimized use of cassava extrudates in various applications.

BACKGROUND: Although targeting atrial fibrillation (AF) drivers and substrates has been used as an effective adjunctive ablation strategy for patients with persistent AF (PsAF), it can result in iatrogenic scar-related atrial tachycardia (iAT) requiring additional ablation. Personalized atrial digital twins (DTs) have been used preprocedurally to devise ablation targeting that eliminate the fibrotic substrate arrhythmogenic propensity and could potentially be used to predict and prevent postablation iAT. OBJECTIVES: In this study, the authors sought to explore possible alternative configurations of ablation lesions that could prevent iAT occurrence with the use of biatrial DTs of prospectively enrolled PsAF patients. METHODS: Biatrial DTs were generated from late gadolinium enhancement-magnetic resonance images of 37 consecutive PsAF patients, and the fibrotic substrate locations in the DT capable of sustaining reentries were determined. These locations were ablated in DTs by representing a single compound region of ablation with normal power (SSA), and postablation iAT occurrence was determined. At locations of iAT, ablation at the same DT target was repeated, but applying multiple lesions of reduced-strength (MRA) instead of SSA. RESULTS: Eighty-three locations in the fibrotic substrates of 28 personalized biatrial DTs were capable of sustaining reentries and were thus targeted for SSA ablation. Of these ablations, 45 resulted in iAT. Repeating the ablation at these targets with MRA instead of SSA resulted in the prevention of iAT occurrence at 15 locations (18% reduction in the rate of iAT occurrence). CONCLUSIONS: Personalized atrial DTs enable preprocedure prediction of iAT occurrence after ablation in the fibrotic substrate. It also suggests MRA could be a potential strategy for preventing postablation AT.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the influence of inappropriate gestational weight gain (GWG) on pregnancy outcomes in twin pregnant women with in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment. METHODS: This retrospective cohort study included 2992 twin pregnant women and categorized the participants as follows: (i) they were classified into spontaneous conception (SC) or IVF groups based on whether they received IVF treatment, and (ii) they were categorized into inadequate, optimal, or excessive GWG groups according to the International Organization for Migration Twin Pregnancy Guidelines. Initially, the study investigated the separate effects of IVF treatment and different levels of GWG on the outcomes of twin pregnancies. Subsequently, after adjusting for confounding factors, multifactorial logistic regression analysis was performed to further investigate the impact of IVF treatment and high GWG on twin pregnancy outcomes. Based on this, the analysis was stratified by whether IVF was used to explore the effects of different GWG levels on each subgroup (those who underwent IVF and those who conceived spontaneously). Finally, potential multiplicative interactions between IVF and different GWG categories were examined to identify their combined effect on pregnancy outcomes. RESULTS: The results showed that women with twin gestations conceived via IVF exhibited significantly higher maternal age, pre-pregnancy body mass index, and a greater incidence of GWG beyond recommended guidelines compared to the SC group. Furthermore, both IVF treatment and inappropriate GWG increased the risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes, respectively. Following adjustments for confounding variables through multifactorial logistic regression, it was demonstrated that both IVF treatment and high GWG significantly elevated the risk of adverse outcomes in twin pregnancies, such as admission to the neonatal intensive care unit. It is noteworthy that inappropriate GWG, combined with IVF treatment, will stepwise increase the incidence of intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy, respiratory failure, respiratory distress, pre-eclampsia, maternal intensive care unit admission, and postpartum hemorrhage risk. However, these outcomes were less affected by inappropriate GWG in the SC group. Lastly, this study did not unveil a significant interaction between the IVF procedure and disparate levels of GWG in relation to the adverse outcomes. CONCLUSION: A high incidence of inappropriate GWG in twin pregnancies with IVF treatment and inappropriate GWG conferred more adverse twin pregnancy outcomes in the IVF group relative to the SC group. This study indicates that proper management of GWG may be a breakthrough in reducing adverse outcomes in twin pregnancies associated with IVF. Therefore, implementing proactive interventions such as supervised exercise programs, prescribed physical or dietary plans, enhanced weight management, or personalized counseling, holds promise for lowering the risks associated with inappropriate GWG in twin pregnancies resulting from IVF.

Previous studies have shown that mothers of naturally conceived dizygotic (DZ) twins tend to be taller, older, and smoke more than mothers of naturally conceived monozygotic (MZ) twin and mothers of singletons. Here, we investigate whether mothers of naturally conceived DZ twins differ from mothers who conceived their DZ twins after medically assisted reproduction (MAR) in eight maternal traits related to fertility based on observational survey data. We include data from 33,648 mothers from the Netherlands Twin Register (NTR) and 1660 mothers of twins from the Norwegian Mother, Father and Child Cohort Study (MoBA). We contrast mothers of naturally conceived DZ twins with mothers of MAR DZ twins. Next, we further segment the MAR group into mothers who underwent hormonal induction of ovulation but not in vitro fertilization (IVF) and those who IVF twins, comparing them both to each other and against the mothers of naturally conceived DZ twins. Mothers of naturally conceived DZ twins smoke more often, differ in body composition, have a higher maternal age and have more offspring before the twins than mothers of MZ twins. Compared to MAR DZ twin mothers, mothers of naturally conceived DZ twins have fewer miscarriages, lower maternal age and increased height, more offspring and are more often smokers. BMI before the twin pregnancy is similar in both natural and MAR DZ twin mothers. Mothers who received hormonal induction of ovulation (OI) have a lower maternal age, fewer miscarriages, and a higher number of offspring before their twin pregnancy than twin mothers who received IVF and/or intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) treatments. Our study shows that twin mothers are a heterogenous group and the differences between twin mothers should be taken into account in epidemiological and genetic research that includes twins.

To address the problems of low accuracy in fault diagnosis of oil-immersed transformers, poor state perception ability and real-time collaboration during diagnosis feedback, a fault diagnosis method for transformers based on the integration of digital twins is proposed. Firstly, fault sample balance is achieved through Iterative Nearest Neighbor Oversampling (INNOS), Secondly, nine-dimensional ratio features are extracted, and the correlation between dissolved gases in oil and fault types is established. Then, sparse principal component analysis (SPCA) is used for feature fusion and dimensionality reduction. Finally, the Aquila Optimizer (AO) is introduced to optimize the parameters of the Kernel Extreme Learning Machine (KELM), establishing the optimal AO-KELM diagnosis model. The final fault diagnosis accuracy reaches 98.1013%. Combining transformer digital twin models, real-time interaction mapping between physical entities and virtual space is achieved, enabling online diagnosis of transformer faults. Experimental results show that the method proposed in this paper has high diagnostic accuracy and strong stability, providing reference for the intelligent operation and maintenance of transformers.
