Abstract Parasites of veterinary importance have been heavily focused on domesticated livestock that was introduced into the neo-tropics. The text used in the teaching parasitology to veterinary students in Trinidad has only investigated the parasites of domesticated species. In the reviewed veterinary parasitology text no mention was made on the parasites that affect wild neo-tropical animals. Information on wild neo-tropical animals had to be sourced from texts on the management of wild life animals in the Neotropics. The texts that were reviewed in this document spanned from the mid-1950s to 2020. The information presented in this review reveals the exhaustive work done on the parasites of domesticated species but also revealed little information on neo-tropical animals with the potential for domestication. In conclusion, this review reveals the gap of information that is missing from parasitology texts used in the teaching of veterinary students. In the future these parasitology texts can be revised to include chapters on the parasites of neo-tropical animals with the potential for domestication. At present students that graduate from the veterinary parasitology course has little information on the parasites of animals which are present in their 'backyards'.


Resumo Parasitas de importância veterinária têm se concentrado fortemente em animais domésticos que foram introduzidos na região neotrópica. O texto usado no ensino de parasitologia para estudantes de veterinária em Trinidad investigou apenas os parasitas de espécies domesticadas. No texto de parasitologia veterinária revisado, nenhuma menção foi feita sobre os parasitas que afetam os animais selvagens neotropicais. As informações sobre animais selvagens neotropicais tiveram que ser obtidas a partir de textos sobre o manejo de animais selvagens nos Neotrópicos. Os textos revisados neste documento vão de meados da década de 1950 até 2020. As informações apresentadas nesta revisão revelam o trabalho exaustivo realizado sobre os parasitas de espécies domesticadas, mas também revelaram poucas informações sobre animais neotropicais com potencial para domesticação. Em conclusão, esta revisão revela a lacuna de informação que existe nos textos de parasitologia utilizados no ensino de estudantes de veterinária. No futuro, esses textos de parasitologia podem ser revisados ​​para incluir capítulos sobre os parasitas de animais neotropicais com potencial para domesticação. Atualmente, os alunos que se formam no curso de parasitologia veterinária têm poucas informações sobre os parasitas de animais que estão presentes em seus "quintais".

Objetivo. Conhecer o processo de integração de Tecnologias Digitais de Informação e Comunicação (TDIC), facilidades e limites percebidos por docentes de um curso de graduação em Enfermagem. Metodologia. Estudo descritivo e exploratório, de abordagem qualitativa, realizado no ano de 2018, com nove docentes de um curso graduação de Enfermagem de uma universidade pública localizada no interior cearense. Para o processo de produção dos dados, foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas e procedeu-se à análise de conteúdo. Resultados. As TDIC têm sido integradas às práticas docentes em diferentes perspectivas, em atividades teóricas e práticas, a partir do uso de aplicativos móveis de simulação de práticas, redes sociais, links para websites, grupos de WhatsApp® e vídeos-aulas. Ademais, a integração dessas tecnologias amplia a criação de estratégias que promovem a participação ativa do educando, oferecendo espaços de reflexão, autonomia, bem como o desenvolvimento da criatividade. Os docentes destacam a interatividade e comunicação, o acesso a recursos que não estão disponíveis na Universidade, como modelos anatômicos, manequins/simuladores de procedimentos de Enfermagem. Dentre os limites, as questões estruturais, de acesso à internet, ausência de políticas institucionais e educação permanente são fatores que demandam maior atenção para que aconteça uma efetiva integração pedagógica das TDIC. Conclusão. Embora represente um processo inicial, percebe-se um potencial para continuidade e expansão das TDIC em diferentes ambientes e disciplinas. Esforços têm sido empreendidos pelos docentes para integrar essas tecnologias ao contexto das atividades pedagógicas no curso de Enfermagem.


Objective. The objective of this study is to know the integration process of Digital Technologies of Information and Communication (DTIC), facilities and limits perceived by professors of an undergraduate course in Nursing. Methods. Descriptive and exploratory study, with a qualitative approach, carried out in 2018, with nine professors from an undergraduate Nursing course at a public university located in the interior of Ceará. For the data production process, semi-structured interviews were conducted and content analysis was carried out. Results. DTIC have been integrated into teaching practices from different perspectives, in theoretical and practical activities, using mobile practice simulation applications, social networks, links to websites, WhatsApp® groups and video-lessons. Furthermore, the integration of these technologies increases the creation of strategies that promote the active participation of the student, offering spaces for reflection, autonomy, as well as the development of creativity and collaboration. Teachers highlight interactivity and communication, access to resources that are not available at the University, such as anatomical models, simulators of nursing procedures. Among the limits, structural issues, access to the internet, absence of institutional policies and permanent education are factors that demand greater attention for an effective pedagogical integration of DTIC. Conclusion. Although it represents an initial process of use, there is a potential for continuity and expansion of DTIC in different environments and disciplines. Efforts have been undertaken by teachers to integrate these technologies into the context of pedagogical activities in the Nursing course.

Conocer el proceso de integración de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación Digitales (TDIC), facilidades y límites percibidos por profesores de un curso de grado en Enfermería. Métodos. Estudio descriptivo y exploratorio, con abordaje cualitativo, realizado en 2018, con nueve profesores de curso de grado en Enfermería de una universidad pública ubicada en el interior de Ceará. Para el proceso de producción de datos se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas y análisis de contenido. Resultado. Las TDIC se han integrado en las prácticas docentes desde diferentes perspectivas, en actividades teóricas y prácticas, utilizando aplicaciones de simulación de prácticas móviles, redes sociales, enlaces a sitios web, grupos de WhatsApp® y video-lecciones. Además, la integración de estas tecnologías incrementa la creación de estrategias que promueven la participación activa del alumno, ofreciendo espacios de reflexión, autonomía, así como el desarrollo de la creatividad y la colaboración. Los docentes destacan la interactividad y la comunicación, el acceso a recursos que no están disponibles en la Universidad, como modelos anatómicos, maniquíes/simuladores de procedimientos de enfermería. Entre los límites, las cuestiones estructurales, el acceso a internet, la ausencia de políticas institucionales y la educación permanente son factores que demandan mayor atención para que se produzca una efectiva integración pedagógica de las TDIC. Conclusión. Aunque represente un proceso inicial de uso, existe un potencial de continuidad y expansión de las TDIC en diferentes entornos y disciplinas. Los profesores han hecho esfuerzos para integrar estas tecnologías en el contexto de las actividades pedagógicas en el curso de Enfermería.

Introducción: Los profesionales del área de odontología se ven expuestos a diferentes tipos de ruidos generados en el ambiente laboral producidos durante el ejercicio de su práctica clínica, originados, entre otros, por el instrumental y los aparatos rotatorios de uso diario. Estos niveles de ruido pueden variar de acuerdo a la especialidad clínica. Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de ruido producido durante los procedimientos odontológicos en las clínicas de una facultad de odontología. Material y Métodos: A partir de un estudio de corte transversal analítico y mediante muestreo no probabilístico a conveniencia se realizó el reconocimiento de las unidades en las especialidades odontológicas a evaluar. Se usó un sonómetro digital BENETECH GM1352, nivel de frecuencia A, rango 30-130 dB, exactitud más o menos 1,5 dB. Se utilizaron las pruebas U de Mann Whitney y Kruskal Wallis para determinar diferencias en los niveles de ruido entre las especialidades odontológicas. Resultados: La mediana del nivel de ruido medido en general fue de 75,94 dB (RIC 74,12 ­ 77,51), la especialidad clínica en la que mayor ruido se identificó fue la operatoria dental (mediana 77,34 y RIC 76,44 ­79,4 dB). Conclusiones: las áreas clínicas operatoria dental, rehabilitación, endodoncia y odontopediatría corresponden a las especialidades donde los niveles de ruido determinados se ajustan a los límites permitidos por la normatividad vigente en Colombia para el ruido medido en ambiente laboral.


Introduction: Dental professionals are exposed to different noise levels in their work environment during their clinical practice, mainly caused by dental instruments and rotary instruments used on a daily basis. Noise levels may vary according to the type of clinical specialty. Objective: To determine noise levels during dental procedures in dental school clinics. Materials and Methods: An analytical cross-sectional study was conducted by means of non-probability convenience sampling to determine dental specialties to be evaluated. BENETECH GM1352 30-130dB Digital Sound Level Meter with accuracy +/- 1.5 dB and A weighting was used for measurements. Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis H tests were used to identify differences in noise levels among dental specialties. Results: Measured median noise level was 75.94 dB (RCI 74.21 -77.51), dental surgery was identified to have the highest noise among clinical specialties (median 77.34 and RCI 76.44 -79.4 dB). Conclusions: Dental surgery, oral rehabilitation, endodontics and pediatric dentistry were found to be the clinical specialties where noise exposure is within the limits established by Colombian regulations for noise in the workplace.


Introdução: Os profissionais da área da odontologia estão expostos a diferentes tipos de ruído gerado no ambiente de trabalho produzido durante o exercício da sua prática clínica, proveniente, entre outros, de instrumentos e aparelhos rotativos em uso diário. Estes níveis de ruído podem variar de acordo com a especialidade clínica. Objetivo: Determinar o nível de ruído produzido durante procedimentos odontológicos nas clínicas de uma escola de odontologia. Material e Métodos: Com base em um estudo analítico transversal e por meio de amostragem por conveniência não probabilística, foram levantadas as unidades das especialidades odontológicas a serem avaliadas. Foi utilizado um sonómetro digital BENETECH GM1352, nível de frequência A, faixa de medição 30-130 dB, precisão mais ou menos 1,5 dB. Os testes U de Mann Whitney e Kruskal Wallis foram usados para determinar as diferenças nos níveis de ruído entre as especialidades odontológicas. Resultados: O nível de ruído médio medido globalmente foi de 75,94 dB (RIC 74,12 - 77,51), sendo que a especialidade clínica em que foi identificado o maior ruído foi a cirurgia dentária (média 77,34 e RIC 76,44 -79,4 dB). Conclusões: as áreas clínicas de cirurgia dentária, reabilitação, endodontia e odontologia pediátrica correspondem às especialidades onde os níveis de ruído determinados estão de acordo com os limites permitidos pela regulamentação em vigor na Colômbia para o ruído medido no ambiente de trabalho.

ABSTRACT Introduction Aerobic gymnastics is an emerging sport. It develops mainly the aerobic body metabolism improving the cardiopulmonary function of the practitioner. Objective To analyze the influence of core strength training on the physical fitness of university athletes who practice aerobic gymnastics. Methods Using mathematical statistics, we studied the influence of aerobic exercise on the physical fitness of female college athletes. The fitness index test of female college aerobics athletes was performed with Excel 2007, and the obtained results were discussed. Results College female students showed significant improvement in somatization, interpersonal sensitivity, anxiety, and other four factors after aerobic gymnastics exercise (P<0.05). After the practice period, female college students improved orthostatic performance, long jump, stretching in sitting forward position, 1 minute sitting, running four times round trip for 10 meters, and 800 meters. The increase was 11.16cm, 5.02cm, 8.34 times/min, 2.13s, and 9.42s. Conclusion Core training in aerobic gymnastics can strengthen the body, allowing awareness of physical training in college women. RESUMO Introdução A ginástica aeróbica é um esporte emergente. Ela desenvolve principalmente o metabolismo aeróbico corporal aprimorando a função cardiopulmonar do praticante. Objetivo Analisar a influência no treino de fortalecimento do core sobre a aptidão física em atletas universitárias praticantes de ginástica aeróbica. Métodos Utilizando estatísticas matemáticas, estuda-se a influência do exercício aeróbico sobre a aptidão física das atletas universitárias. O teste do índice de aptidão física de atletas de aeróbica feminina de faculdades foi executado com Excel 2007 e discutiu-se os resultados obtidos. Resultados As estudantes universitárias apresentaram melhora significativa na somatização, sensibilidade interpessoal, ansiedade, e outros quatro fatores após o exercício de ginastica aeróbica (P<0,05). Após o período de prática, as estudantes universitárias tiveram melhora no desempenho ortostático, salto à distância, no alongamento em posição sentadas para frente, 1 minuto sentadas, corrida 4 vezes de ida e volta por 10 metros, e 800 metros. O aumento foi respectivamente de 11,16cm, 5,02cm, 8,34 vezes/min, 2,13s, e 9,42s. Conclusão O treino do core na ginástica aeróbica pode fortalecer o corpo, permitindo a conscientização do treino físico nas universitárias. RESUMEN Introducción La gimnasia aeróbica es un deporte emergente. Desarrolla principalmente el metabolismo corporal aeróbico mejorando la función cardiopulmonar del practicante. Objetivo Analizar la influencia del entrenamiento del core en la aptitud física en atletas universitarias que practican gimnasia aeróbica. Métodos Utilizando la estadística matemática, se estudió la influencia del ejercicio aeróbico en la aptitud física de las atletas universitarias. La prueba del índice de aptitud física de las atletas universitarias de aerobismo se realizó con Excel 2007 y se discutieron los resultados obtenidos. Resultados Las estudiantes universitarias mostraron una mejora significativa en la somatización, la sensibilidad interpersonal, la ansiedad y otros cuatro factores después del ejercicio de gimnasia aeróbica (P<0,05). Después del periodo de práctica, las estudiantes universitarias tuvieron una mejora en el rendimiento ortostático, en el salto de longitud, en el estiramiento en posición sentada hacia delante, en la posición sentada de 1 minuto, en la carrera de 4 vueltas de 10 metros y en los 800 metros. El aumento fue, respectivamente, de 11,16 cm, 5,02 cm, 8,34 veces/min, 2,13 s y 9,42 s. Conclusión El entrenamiento del core en la gimnasia aeróbica puede fortalecer el cuerpo, permitiendo la concienciación del entrenamiento físico en las estudiantes universitarias. ABSTRACT Introduction Modern basketball is very competitive and enjoyable; it combines several factors. Basketball requires specific physical characteristics such as high stature, which raises the position of the center of gravity, making the stability angle smaller. This compromises stability, especially in sudden speed and direction changes, because it requires a large base opening. The core musculature is intimately involved with body balance; however, there is a lack of studies verifying the impact of specific training of this region on balance in basketball athletes. Objective To explore the influence of core strengthening on the physical fitness of college basketball players. Methods 12 college basketball players were selected and randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group. The experimental group performed core strengthening training, while the control group practiced traditional strength training. After six weeks, physical fitness and basic skills were compared between the groups. Data were statistically treated and discussed confronting the literature. Results Basketball players in the experimental group obtained higher fast dribbling passes and shots than before the experiment (P<0.05), there was no statistically significant difference in several indicators in the control group ( P>0.05); Basketball players in the experimental group had higher fast dribbling passes and shots than the control group (P<0.05), there was no statistically significant difference in approach height between the experimental group and the control group (P>0.05). Conclusion Core strengthening training can improve the physical fitness of college basketball players. Evidence level II; Therapeutic Studies - Investigating the results.


RESUMO Introdução O basquete moderno é muito competitivo e prazeroso, é uma combinação de vários fatores. O basquetebol exige características físicas específicas como a alta estatura, que eleva a posição do centro de gravidade, tornando o ângulo de estabilidade menor. Isso compromete a estabilidade, principalmente nas mudanças repentinas de velocidade e direção pois exige grande abertura de base. A musculatura do core está intimamente envolvida com o equilíbrio corporal, entretanto faltam estudos verificando o impacto do treino específico dessa região no equilíbrio em atletas de basquetebol. Objetivo Explorar a influência do fortalecimento do core na aptidão física dos jogadores universitários de basquete. Métodos 12 universitários jogadores de basquete foram selecionados e aleatoriamente divididos em grupo controle e grupo experimental. O experimental realizou treino fortalecimento do core, enquanto o controle praticava treinamento de força tradicional. Após seis semanas, comparou-se a aptidão física e habilidades básicas entre os grupos. Os dados foram tratados estatisticamente e discutidos confrontando a literatura. Resultados Os jogadores de basquete do grupo experimental obtiveram maiores passes rápidos de drible e arremessos do que antes do experimento (P<0,05), não houve diferença estatisticamente significativa em vários indicadores no grupo controle ( P>0,05); Os jogadores de basquete do grupo experimental apresentaram maiores passes e arremessos de drible rápido do que o grupo controle (P<0,05), não houve diferença estatisticamente significativa na altura de aproximação entre o grupo experimental e o grupo controle (P>0,05). Conclusão O treino de fortalecimento do core pode melhorar a aptidão física de jogadores universitários de basquete. Nível de evidência II; Estudos terapêuticos - Investigação de resultados.


RESUMEN Introducción El baloncesto moderno es muy competitivo y divertido, es una combinación de varios factores. El baloncesto exige características físicas específicas como la alta estatura, que eleva la posición del centro de gravedad, haciendo que el ángulo de estabilidad sea menor. Esto compromete la estabilidad, sobre todo en los cambios bruscos de velocidad y dirección, porque exige una gran apertura de la base. Los músculos del core están íntimamente implicados con el equilibrio corporal, sin embargo, faltan estudios que verifiquen el impacto del entrenamiento específico de esta región sobre el equilibrio en los deportistas de baloncesto. Objetivo Explorar la influencia del fortalecimiento del núcleo en la aptitud física de los jugadores universitarios de baloncesto. Métodos Se seleccionaron 12 jugadores de baloncesto universitario y se dividieron aleatoriamente en un grupo de control y un grupo experimental. Los experimentales realizaron un entrenamiento de fortalecimiento del núcleo, mientras que los de control practicaron un entrenamiento de fuerza tradicional. Después de 6 semanas, se comparó la aptitud física y las habilidades básicas entre los grupos. Los datos fueron tratados estadísticamente y discutidos confrontándolos con la literatura. Resultados Los jugadores de baloncesto del grupo experimental obtuvieron pases y tiros rápidos más altos que antes del experimento (P<0,05), no hubo diferencias estadísticamente significativas en varios indicadores en el grupo de control ( P>0,05); Los jugadores de baloncesto del grupo experimental tuvieron pases y tiros rápidos más altos que el grupo de control (P<0,05), no hubo diferencias estadísticamente significativas en la altura de aproximación entre el grupo experimental y el grupo de control (P>0,05). Conclusión El entrenamiento de fortalecimiento del núcleo puede mejorar la condición física de los jugadores de baloncesto universitarios. Artificial intelligence technology has become an important part of the development of Internet technology. Artificial intelligence technology can help colleges and universities optimize the network ideological and political teaching system. Artificial intelligence technology provides more accurate data resources and rich and reliable educational technology means for online public mental health education in colleges and universities. This paper comprehensively uses a variety of methods such as qualitative and quantitative analysis, case and empirical analysis, literature analysis, and artificial intelligence technology. Artificial intelligence technology has been closely integrated with online public mental health education in colleges and universities. The model systematically analyzes the optimization methods of artificial intelligence technology methods for the online public mental health education system in colleges and universities, and constructs an innovation system for online public mental health education in colleges and universities. Based on the comprehensive analysis of artificial intelligence and public health in colleges and universities, this paper further proposes the application of artificial intelligence technology in online public mental health education in colleges and universities. On this basis, the model conducts an in-depth analysis of artificial intelligence technology and the online public mental health innovation system. The model supports the development of ideological and political teaching in colleges and universities through various forms such as idea innovation, path innovation, carrier innovation, and mechanism innovation.

The resources used by network ideological and political educators to achieve their goals make up the entire collection of materials and components that make up network ideological. Some academic institutions, such as Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, rely on new media to develop novel ideological techniques, such as "Xuchuan's political work practices," which have had a significant impact on young college students. WeChat, Weibo, and Twitter are just a few of the new media platforms that have emerged as a result of China's ongoing process of digitalization. The development of new media information technology has subtly altered how political and ideological management is conducted in academic institutions. This study of the network ideological in higher education institutions is based on information technology and the new media environment. The study reveals that the highest rate of knowing very well is 14.36%, and the highest rate of knowing well is 25.65%, according to the trend of understanding new media information technology. Only 3.35% said they were unsure. According to the experiment, there is a rising trend in understanding and understanding unity as the number of samples increases. In this instance, it makes sense to use new media to advance the ideological goals of a higher education institution. The network ideological and political management platform of the institution of higher learning uses information technology to support online discussion and analysis, which is crucial for fostering students' ethical values and a healthy way of thinking.

Arts and crafts, with their very different styles due to many factors such as times, regions, technologies, and cultures and nationalities, have undergone an extremely long process, and it is only through continuous superimposition, development, and innovation that they have gradually formed the posture of today's arts and crafts. Public mental health education is the main way to promote the psychological health development of the public in colleges and universities at present. And among them, sound personality and good self-awareness is one of the important standards of psychological health of the large public and one of the important tasks of mental health education. As an effective psychological test and treatment method, arts and crafts analysis are an important part of mental health education. It has a certain role in improving the level of self-awareness and promoting the integration of personality. Art and craft analysis has advantages in mental health and educational group counseling that cannot be replaced by other words and activities, so it can be used in mental health education courses. It can be used in teaching self-awareness. In order to combine the development of arts and crafts with the development concept and promotion ideas of public mental health education, this article proposes an analysis of the role of arts and crafts in public mental health education based on artificial intelligence computing to enhance the development of arts and crafts from a new perspective and seek the inheritance and innovation of arts and crafts and public mental health education in the new historical period, and proves the proposed method in the relevant dataset. The validity of the proposed method is demonstrated in the relevant dataset.

The emergence of the big data era has drastically altered people's lives and perceptions. One needs a thorough understanding of the topic to effectively apply big data's benefits to the ideological and political education work that colleges and universities carry out. By doing so, the advantages of big data can be better exploited and integrated into the educational process, enhancing the work's overall quality. To enhance the path of ideological and political education in colleges and universities, it is necessary to change according to the matter, advance according to the time, and make new changes according to the situation, and therefore, it is important to actively explore the path of ideological and political education in colleges and universities under the times. In this study, we research and analyze the opportunities and challenges facing the ideological and political education of universities in the era of big data, reexamine the subjective and objective environment in which the ideological and political education of universities is located, and explore the innovative development path of the ideological and political education of universities in the new environment. We will also encourage the innovative growth of ideological and political work in four areas, such as cultivating big data thinking innovation, working method innovation, working carrier innovation, and ideological work team construction, and conduct a ranking analysis on the significance of the exploration variables to improve the path of ideological work. The importance score measures the value of features in the construction of the ascending decision in the model, so the XGBoost algorithm is used to sort and analyze the significance of exploring variables to enhance the political and ideological work trajectory. The analysis of the experimental results shows that the innovation of working methods has greatly enhanced the conditions for carrying out ideological and political education in the new environment and has far-reaching implications and important significance for the innovation of ideological and political education in universities.

Under the background of networked education, the subjective behavior in the field of education, the interaction between teachers and students, and the educational environment in which the subject is located have all had a comprehensive impact on the teaching mode of mental health courses in colleges and universities. In recent years, the teaching research and practice related to "action learning" and "thinking visualization" have been deepening, and more papers, monographs, and training activities related to them have been deepened. Thinking is a complex cognitive process, and students' positive and critical thinking attitude plays a crucial role in improving the quality of nursing work in the future. The importance of study, our way of self-cultivation, and the foundation of our destiny is beyond words. This study explores the application and significance of college students' happy learning combined with the visualization of thinking and action learning under the background of "Internet +" from four aspects: curriculum connotation, system construction, effect analysis, and curriculum thinking, so that students can play their subjectivity in education courses and improve. The current new round of scientific and technological revolution represented by artificial intelligence is rapidly driving a new wave of development of the times, and the rapid iterative update of science and technology is triggering new changes in educational concepts and educational thinking methods. Only by deeply understanding the reshaping of education concept, teaching concept, and learning concept by the new generation of scientific and technological revolution, as well as the major opportunities and challenges brought to education, can we understand the future direction of the development of ideological and political education for college students. This study takes the ideological and political education and teaching of college students as the research object. It begins by defining artificial intelligence and the ideological and political education of college students and analyzes the new concepts of precise individualization, intelligent teaching, and evaluation brought by artificial intelligence to the ideological and political education of college students. Then, it selects the students who have studied ideological and political education network resources as the empirical objects, designs a questionnaire based on the emotional characteristics of the resources, implements a questionnaire survey, uses the Stata software to conduct a correlation analysis on the acceptance of the students, and finally verifies the resources. Combined with empirical results, this article analyzes the influence of emotional characteristics of resources on students' acceptance, reveals the carrier role of ideological and political network resources in school emotional education and students through mirror theory and student response theory, respectively, and establishes the principle of graded reading guidance.

The importance of political thought courses in higher education institutions is directly related to the caliber and extent of staff development. This essay carefully examines and discusses the integration of network resources for political thought courses in higher education institutions from the standpoint of collaborative education. This article analyses the current state of the integration of network resources into higher education institutions' political thought curricula. The general DM process and DM-related technologies are studied concurrently. The mining model based on the study of political thought course is chosen in conjunction with this course. Additionally, a teaching resource integration method based on the idea of collaborative learning is developed, including the development of an Arduino device identification program based on NN and an Arduino device learning resource base. In accordance with the design of the network resource integration method used in the political thought course, the article evaluates the model's performance in a number of different areas. The proposed algorithm's accuracy is 95.11 percent, according to experiments. The recall rate of this algorithm can also go as high as 93.94 percent. In order to further reform teaching and raise the standard of learning, this study can offer students learning direction.

Exercise has become one of the essential life skills of university students and is also an integral part of physical exercise and mental health. As a positive influence on their physical and mental health, sports can help people to adjust and regulate their emotions and behavior. At the same time, the mental health of university students has been on the decline in recent years. At the university level, students tend to develop anxiety, depression and other emotions and problems, and temptations of all kinds provide a direction for psychological problems to arise. For university educators, the way to improve the mental health of university students is to study the current psychological situation of university students, identify the symptoms, treat them, and adopt scientific and effective interventions while sports are popular among young people as a positive and fun activity. In order to investigate the relationship between sports health and mental health of university students, the author chose thousands of students in a school as the research subjects using experimental methods and mathematical and statistical methods to conduct physical and psychological tests on the research subjects through different comparative experimental content and data results to explore the impact of sports health on the mental health of university students and using professional data analysis software IBM. The data from the physical health assessment and the psychological health assessment obtained from the school assessment center were analyzed by using the independent sample t-test and correlation analysis method in SPSS Statistics 19.0, so as to investigate the influence of physical health on psychological health.

Objectives: Quarantine-related loneliness has impacted university students during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. This study aims to evaluate loneliness among female university students in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia during the pandemic and to investigate its correlation with depression. Methods: A sample of 753 female students was collected during the first COVID-19 summer vacation outbreak through a cross-sectional survey that consisted of two parts: 1) Sociodemographic characteristics and COVID-19 related questions; 2) The eight-item UCLA Loneliness Scale (ULS-8) and the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9). Results: Most participants were between 18 and 22 years old (75.2%) and were studying at humanities college (61.50%). Loneliness and depression were reported among 63.3% and 41.1% of female students, respectively, and the correlation between them was significantly positive (beta = 0.419, p < 0.001). Having a previous history of a psychiatric condition and families with insufficient monthly income were the main associated factors with high levels of loneliness and depression. Conclusion: Female university students experienced loneliness and depression under quarantine during the first COVID-19 summer vacation outbreak. Psychosocial intervention for the vulnerable groups is essential, as are longitudinal studies.

With the outbreak of COVID-19 and the development of online teaching, the online flipping teaching mode has attracted increasing attention. Systematic analysis of the research status and development trend of the flipped classrooms is significant for guiding the improvement of the quality of online flipped teaching. This study used the metrology software CiteSpace to draw a scientific knowledge map of relevant research in the web of science database from 2013 to 2021. It performed visual analysis of research authors, research institutions and countries, keyword clustering, keywords co-occurrence, and keyword time zone distribution. The results showed that: (1) The flipped classrooms research has attracted increasing attention from the social and educational circles, however, the relationship between relevant research authors, institutions, and countries is not close enough, and there is little cooperation. We need to strengthen cooperation further and realize the sharing of high-quality resources; (2) Based on keyword co-occurrence cluster analysis, this study identified three hot topics, namely, preparation before class, classroom activities and consolidation after class; (3) According to the keyword time zone map, this study divided three frontier evolution trends: exploration period, adaptation period, and growth period; (4) Finally, with the spread of novel coronavirus, it is suggested to promote the online flipped classroom teaching mode, and put forward reasonable suggestions from the perspective of teachers, students and researchers, and look forward to the future digital development direction of the flipped classroom.

Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) has a wide variety of symptoms. The classification of these symptoms into several patterns is useful for more effective tailor-made treatment. Therefore, our study aimed to examine the patterns of PMS by analyzing multiple factors to identify the characteristics of each pattern. This is a cross-sectional study. A total of 165 women (18.9 ± 1.0 years) were investigated by using of questionnaire about PMS, nutrition, physical activity, and other lifestyle traits. Then, the factor analysis was performed to classify the premenstrual symptoms, that is, the pattern of PMS. Additionally, logistic regression analysis was performed to identify the characteristics of each pattern, adjusted for age, body mass index, sleep duration, and caffeine intake. As the result, PMS was classified into 3 patterns. The type related to psychological symptoms such as depression, physiological symptoms, such as abdominal pain, and intermingled type, were labeled as affected, somatic, and mixed types, respectively. From the result of logistic regression analysis, self-rating depression scale scoring was marginally associated with affective type (odds ratio [OR]: 1.08, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.99-1.16), physical activity was significantly associated with the mixed type (OR: 1.13, 95% CI: 1.00-1.28), and physical activity (OR: 1.20, 95% CI: 1.05-1.36) and some nutrients (OR: 0.56-1.00) were significantly associated with the somatic type. Understanding PMS and management of these complicated symptoms has been difficult. From the results of this study, the complicated symptoms were categorized into simpler patterns. Our findings may contribute to the understanding and possible management adjusted for each categorized case of PMS.

This study investigates the validity of path models in which interpersonal motivation positively predicts behavioral, emotional, and cognitive engagement, and behavioral engagement positively predicts superior performance in collaborative learning in university classes. The path model was tested using structural equation modeling. The results of the analyses showed that weak positive paths from identified regulation to all three aspects of engagement were substantial. In addition, a weak positive path from intrinsic motivation was significant for emotional engagement. For performance, the weak positive path from behavioral engagement was statistically significant. Based on these results, the implications of the motivation theory and practice in higher education are discussed.

Objectives: Individuals often experience expectation violations related to the consumption of healthy food and physical activity and they may cope with expectation-disconfirming information by (1) ignoring the discrepancy (immunization), (2) increasing efforts to fulfill them (assimilation), or (3) changing their expectations (accommodation). We investigated whether valence, discrepancy magnitude, and controllability of the expectation disconfirming event predicted coping with expectation violations. Methods: A 2 (valence: positive vs negative) x 2 (discrepancy: larger vs smaller) x 2 (controllability: control vs no control) experimental design was implemented. Overall, we presented 297 university students with vignettes describing expectation violations and present different combinations of predictor levels. Results: Regarding physical activity, participants showed significantly higher accommodation when experiencing a better-than-expected event and showed significantly higher immunization when experiencing a worse-than-expected event. Regarding food consumption and physical activity, individuals experiencing lower discrepancy showed significantly higher immunization; individuals with control over the source of expectation disconfirmation showed significantly higher assimilation; and individuals without control over the source of expectation disconfirmation showed significantly higher accommodation.Conclusions: To promote the maintenance of healthy expectations, despite expectation violations, interventions could foster the perception of control as well as assimilative behavior.

The research results show that the atrous convolution and GRU methods can more accurately predict the three characteristics of psychological ideological with political teaching in universities. This is helpful for educators to discover more appropriate psychological and ideological with political teaching methods.
