La prevención del alcoholismo en instituciones educativas / Alcoholism prevention in educative institutions

RESUMEN

RESUMEN Cuba posee una profunda voluntad política para la realización de programas de promoción de salud. Un papel protagónico en este sentido lo tiene el Ministerio de Salud Pública y el Ministerio de Educación. Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica con el objetivo de lograr la sistematización de los fundamentos teóricos que sustentan la formación inicial del maestro y el tratamiento que durante esta etapa se le da a la promoción de salud y la prevención de adicciones. Se identificaron un grupo de insuficiencias que requieren de un serio tratamiento en la labor a acometer en los centros cubanos de la educación para que se implementen acciones de promoción y prevención de adicciones por el maestro.

ABSTRACT Cuba has a deep political will of carrying out health promotion programs. The Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Education play an important role in this field. The authors carried out a bibliographic review aimed at systematizing the theoretic fundaments that are at the basis of the teacher's initial training and the treatment given to health promotion and addiction prevention at this stage. A group of insufficiencies was identified in Cuban educational institutions requiring a serious approach for the teachers to perform actions of addictions prevention.
