Terapia familiar com equipe reflexiva: contribuições e desafios / Family therapy with reflecting team: contributions and challenges

RESUMO

Por meio de um estudo de casos múltiplos, buscou-se descrever o uso de equipe reflexiva em terapia familiar. Os membros de três famílias que se encontravam em atendimento familiar com equipe reflexiva, em um serviço-escola, responderam a entrevistas individuais semiestruturadas. Procedeu-se a uma análise temática e construíram-se os temas (1) Contribuições do uso da equipe reflexiva e (2) Desafios no uso da equipe reflexiva. Os participantes relacionaram a contribuição da equipe à multiplicidade de perspectivas oferecidas e à sensação de apoio no processo psicoterápico. Entre os desafios no uso da equipe, citaram-se o contato inicial com a equipe, bem como a rotatividade de seus integrantes. Por fim, discutiu-se a necessidade de flexibilização do uso da equipe diante da complexidade de questões que as famílias trazem à terapia.

ABSTRACT

Through a case study, we sought to describe the use of reflecting team in family therapy. The members of three families that were in family therapy with reflecting team, in a university clinic, responded to individual interviews. We conducted a thematic analysis and built the themes (1) Contributions of the use of reflecting team and (2) Challenges in the use of reflecting team. The participants related the contributions of the reflecting team to the multiplicity of perspectives and to the support offered by it. Among the challenges in the use of the reflecting team, the participants have cited their initial contact, as well as the changes in the team composition. Finally, we discussed the need for flexibility in the use of the reflecting team given the complexity of the issues brought by families to therapy.
