Criar um mundo pra si: agenciamentos de cuidado de pessoas trans, travestis e não-bináries para uma vida possível / Creating a world for yourself: care agencies for trans, travestis and non-binary people for a possible life

RESUMO

No mundo que conhecemos e habitamos, a transfobia torna as vidas e os corpos de pessoas trans e travestis alvo de violência, abjeção e morte. As ciências e as áreas da saúde contribuem para que essas existências sejam lidas como patologizantes e patologizadas, favorecendo uma política que faz morrer. Por via etnográfica, acompanhei cotidianamente, com alguns intervalos, quatro mulheres trans e travestis, e dois homens trans e não-bináries, entre maio de 2019 e junho de 2021, na região metropolitana do munícipio de São Paulo, buscando conhecer as estratégias e os agenciamentos de cuidado na construção de seus corpos, em serviços e com profissionais de saúde, mas também para além destes espaços e relações. Nesses cruzamentos, pude conhecer um pouco de suas histórias e como performatizam suas formas de existir, produzindo corpos e subjetividades que não são contempladas somente pelas categorias e definições de gênero disponíveis na estrutura cisheteronormativa binária. A partir dessas relações e do contato com algumas teorias, como de agenciamento terapêutico e cuidado, foi possível refletir sobre como essas pessoas criavam formas de sobreviver, viver e existir em condições críticas e violentas. Essas relações contribuíram para pensar o cuidado para além de práticas institucionais de saúde, além de produzir reflexões sobre como fazer pesquisa com comprometimento ético-politico. A cosmopolítica ajudou a pensar sobre como mundos são produzidos e compõem materialidades que permitam que essas vidas sejam possíveis de existir e criem mundos florescentes para si.

ABSTRACT

On the world we know and inhabit, transphobia makes the lives and bodies of trans people and travestis the target of violence, abjection and death. The sciences and the areas of health contribute so that these existences are read as pathologizing and pathologized, contributing to a policy that causes death. By ethnographic means, I followed daily, with some intervals, four trans women and transvestites, and two trans and non-binary men, between May 2019 and June 2021, in the metropolitan region of the municipality of Sao Paulo, seeking to know the strategies and arrangements of care in the construction of their bodies, in services and with health professionals, but also beyond these spaces and relationships. In these crossings, I was able to get to know a little of their stories and how they perform their ways of existing, producing bodies and subjectivities that are not covered only by the categories and definitions of gender available in the binary cisheteronormative structure. From these relationships and some theories, such as therapeutic agency and care, it was possible to reflect on how these people created ways to survive, live and exist in critical and violent conditions. These relationships contributed to thinking about care beyond institutional health practices, in addition to producing reflections on how to carry out research with an ethical-political commitment. Cosmopolitics helped to think about how worlds are produced and compose materiality that allowed these lives to be possible to exist and create flourishing worlds for themselves.
