Hipermodernidad y arte

RESUMEN

El artículo analiza la hipermodernidad a través de internet, medio que condiciona nuestra experiencia de ella. Los tres vértices de la comunicación (Jakobson, 1974) se desdoblan: a un emisor dividido entre autor y personaje dramático o lírico, un destinatario dividido entre un eventual dedicatario de la obra y su receptor, que puede ser todos o ninguno, corresponde una división entre contenido del mensaje artístico y un referente que se vuelve, por lo menos, ambiguo. Lo que Jakobson consideró “literariedad” o modalidad de la comunicación artística se ha vuelto el modo de comunicación predominante en internet. Así, se considera el efecto de una comunicación de internet en tanto obra artística, confrontando la problemática del aura a partir de Benjamin (1989), quien, traductor de Proust, basó sus reflexiones sobre el aura en la experiencia proustiana del momento privilegiado. Finalmente, se examinan los intentos vanguardistas de destruir el aura y se distingue entre aura y presentación artística.

ABSTRACT

The article analyzes hypermodernity through the Internet, since this medium conditions our experience of it. The three angles of the act of communication become divided (Jakobson, 1974): the sender is divided between an author and a dramatic or lyrical character, the receiver is divided between an eventual dedicatee of the work and its reader, who can be everyone or no one, and the contents of the artistic message is divided from a conjectural reference. “Literariness” has become the predominant mode of communication in Internet. In that sense, the article examines the effect of an Internet message as artistic communication, confronting the question of the “aura” (Benjamin, 1989). Finally, the avantgardist attempts to destroy the aura are discussed, and a distinction is made between aura and artistic presentation.
