Os desenhos das superestruturas para próteses fixas sobre implante podem ser realizados de quatro formas coroas com parafusamento oclusal; coroas telescópicas; coroas cimentadas e coroas com parafusamento lateral. Vários profissionais preferem uma restauração tipo cimentada em função da praticidade e estética oclusal. O inconveniente destas está no fato delas não permitirem a manutenção para o reaperto das conexões que podem ser realizados nas próteses com parafusamento oclusal e lateral. No presente caso, é sugerida e discutida a técnica de próteses sobre implantes retidas por parafusamento lateral utilizando o sistema Set Screw do Kit CNG® que pode ser usada e reúne as vantagens das outras duas técnicas embora com algumas limitações

Professionals’ big majority prefer a restoration kind cemented because is easiness and occlusal esthetics. The inconvenient of this is in their fact don’t allow the maintenance for adjustment of the connections, accomplished in the prostheses with crown surface occlusal screw.
