Os discursos da promoção do cuidado materno na unidade neonatal: as práticas dos profissionais de enfermagem / The speeches promoting maternal care in the neonatal unit: the practice of nursing professionals

RESUMO

O cuidado materno ao bebê prematuro dentro da Unidade Neonatal sofreu grandes variações ao longo da história da Neonatologia. Diante do bebê prematuro é essencial que a mãe tenha suporte para descobrir seu filho, de modo que identifique as habilidades, competências e respostas do bebê na interação com o meio. Esse suporte pode ser oferecido através da promoção do cuidado materno. O estímulo ao cuidado materno de forma precoce influencia de forma positiva no estreitamento de laços afetivos e consequente aceitação e responsabilização materna pela vida do seu filho prematuro. Objeto de Estudo a promoção do cuidado materno ao filho prematuro durante a internação na unidade hospitalar. Os objetivos foram a) Descrever as práticas discursivas e sociais da equipe de enfermagem na promoção do cuidado materno ao filho prematuro na Unidade Neonatal; b) Analisar o discurso da equipe de enfermagem na promoção do cuidado materno ao filho prematuro na Unidade Neonatal; c) Discutir a promoção do cuidado materno ao filho prematuro na Unidade Neonatal pela equipe de enfermagem na perspectiva da educação problematizadora em saúde. Elegeu-se Flairclough (2001) como suporte teórico-metodológico e Freire (2013b) como suporte teórico-filosófico desse estudo. Estudo de abordagem qualitativa, do tipo exploratório, desenvolvido através da entrevista semiestruturada com 15 profissionais da equipe de enfermagem que atuavam na assistência ao bebê prematuro e sua família na Unidade Neonatal de uma Maternidade de um Hospital Universitário, localizado na cidade do Rio de Janeiro. Os dados foram coletados no período entre Abril e Junho de 2014 e foram analisados e interpretados a partir da análise crítica de discurso de Fairclough, e sob a luz da educação problematizadora em saúde na perspectiva freireana.

ABSTRACT

Maternal care to premature infants in the neonatal unit has undergone major changesover the history of Neonatology. In the face of the premature baby is essential that the motherhas support to find his son in order to identify the skills, competencies and baby responses ininteractions with the environment. This support can be offered through the promotion ofmaternal care. The stimulus to maternal care early on influences positively in strengtheningbonding and consequent acceptance and maternal responsibility for the life of their prematureson. Study object the promotion of maternal care of premature children during hospitalizationat the hospital. The objectives were a) Describe the discursive and social practices of thenursing staff in the promotion of maternal care of premature children in the Neonatal Unit; b)To analyze the discourse of the nursing staff in the promotion of maternal care of prematurechildren in the Neonatal Unit; c) To discuss the promotion of maternal care of prematurechildren in the Neonatal Unit by the nursing staff from the perspective of problem-basededucation in health. Was elected Flairclough (2001) as a theoretical-methodological supportand Freire (2013b) as a theoretical-philosophical support of this study. A qualitative andexploratory study, developed through semi-structured interviews with 15 professionals of thenursing team who worked in the care of premature babies and their families in the NeonatalUnit of Maternity of a University Hospital, located in the city of Rio de January. Data werecollected between April and June 2014 and were analyzed and interpreted from the criticalanalysis of Fairclough's speech, and in the light of problem-based education in health inFreire's perspective.
