Urgencia hipertensiva / Hypertensive emergency

RESUMEN

La urgencia en la hipertensión arterial constituye una de las situaciones más frecuentes de la práctica diaria, ocupan 27 por ciento de las enfermedades médicas urgentes graves. De todas las crisis hipertensivas, 76 por ciento corresponden a la urgencia hipertensiva. Por su alta frecuencia se realizó una revisión del manejo actualizado de la urgencia hipertensiva, haciendo referencia a su evaluación clínica, los fármacos utilizados en la actualidad, incluyendo los preparados de acción retardada y la actuación terapéutica ante las diferentes formas de presentación de una crisis hipertensiva simple(AU)

ABSTRACT

The emergency in hypertension constitutes one of the most frequent situations of the daily practice, it represents 27 percent of the severe urgent medical diseases. From all of the hypertensive crisis, 76 percent belong to hypertensive emergency. Because of the high frequency it was performed a review of the updated management of the hypertensive emergency, making reference to the clinical evaluation, the drugs used nowadays, including the ones of retarded action and the therapeutic performance towards the different forms of presentation of a simple hypertensive crisis(EU)
