RESUMEN

Este artículo nace de una reflexión elaborada apartir de testimonios de niños y niñas que tienenhermanos con síndrome de Down. Estos niños sehan reunido en unos espacios de encuentro que seorganizan en la FCSD y han podido hablar y compartirsus experiencias como hermanos de una personacon discapacidad.En este artículo veremos qué objetivos y qué dinámicasiguen estos grupos y los sentimientos expresadospor los hermanos. A partir de citas textualesde los niños extraídas de diferentes sesiones,intentaremos entender y dar sentido a sus experienciasy sentimientos (AU)

ABSTRACT

This article is an exploration of accounts givento us by children who have siblings with Downsyndrome. At regular get-togethers organised bythe FCSD these children are afforded an opportunityto discuss and share their experience of havinga brother or sister with a disability.The article examines the aims and dynamic ofthese groups and exemplifies the feelings expressedby the children. We shall endeavour to understandand attach meaning to their experiences andemotions by referring to quotes taken from varioussessions (AU)
