Alteridade e Psicologia Humanista: uma leitura ética da abordagem centrada na pessoa / Alterity and humanistic psychology: an ethical reading of the Person-Centered Approach

RESUMO

Este trabalho admite, de início, a ausência de um tratamento da alteridade radical na Abordagem Centrada na Pessoa - como proposta originalmente por Carl Rogers - para propor, ao fim, uma releitura da tendência atualizante e das atitudes facilitadoras - aceitação positiva incondicional, empatia e autenticidade - como lugares possíveis para o encontro com o outro em sua radicalidade. Aponta, assim, para uma perspectiva descentrada ou excêntrica da pessoa.

ABSTRACT

This study assumes, at the beginning, the absence of the radical alterity treatment on the Person-Centered Approach - as proposed originally by Carl Rogers - to consider, at the end, a re-reading of the realization tendency and the facilitative attitudes - unconditional positive regard, empathy and genuineness - as possible places to others meeting radically . It points out, thus, an non-centered or eccentric perspective of the person.
