Nurses and implementation of the nursing care systematization: descriptive study / Enfermeiros e a implementação da sistematização da assitencia de enfermagem: estudo descritivo

ABSTRACT

The following descriptive study aimed to identify the benefits and difficulties the implementation of the Nursing Process. The collection of data happened from September to October 2008 applying a survey to 16 nurses. The data were submitted to descriptive statistics. The results showed in relation to benefits: quality of the patient assistance, the organization of the nursing assistance and definition and appreciation of the role of nurses. The doubts for the execution of implementation were resolubility and lack of time. These results reveal that is possible to promote better management of the nursing assistance through it. This can happen since the organization of the nursing assistance from which the nurser is responsible for enables the quality of the service offered to the patient.

RESUMO

Estudo descritivo que teve como objetivo identificar os benefícios e as dúvidas para a implementação do Processo de Enfermagem. A coleta dos dados ocorreu de setembro a outubro de 2008 com a utilização de um questionário que foi aplicado a 16 enfermeiras. Os dados foram submetidos à estatística descritiva. Os resultados demonstraram com relação aos benefícios: a qualidade na assistência ao paciente, a organização da assistência e a definição e valorização do papel do enfermeiro. Como dúvidas para a execução da implementação foram a resolutividade e a falta de tempo. Esses resultados indicam que é possível promover melhor gerenciamento da assistência de enfermagem, da qual o enfermeiro é responsável, possibilitando a qualificação do serviço prestado ao paciente.
