ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:

The purpose of this article is to review the imaging findings of common and uncommon causes of renin-mediated hypertension in children using a multimodality radiologic approach.

CONCLUSION:

Pediatric hypertension, although uncommon, is often due to aortic or renal artery narrowing. Imaging plays an important role in the diagnosis and characterization of pediatric renin-mediated causes of hypertension.
