ABSTRACT
The present work comprises the taxonomic survey of Portulacaceae Juss. and Talinaceae Doweld for the State of Paraíba, Brazil. From August/2016 to April/2018, collections and field observations were carried out, complemented by analyzes of the collections of local herbaria (EAN, HACAM and JPB). The identifications of genera and species were carried out with the help of specialized literature for Portulacaceae and Talinaceae. Nine species were recorded in two genera Portulaca L. (Portulacaceae), with seven species, among which Portulaca grandiflora Höok., as a new record for the flora of Paraíba State and Talinum Adans. (Talinaceae), with two species present in the studied area. Morphological descriptions, keys to families, genera and respective species were made, as well as data on geographic distribution, habitats, flowering and/or fruiting, images, ink prints and comments on taxonomic affinities based on vegetative and reproductive characteristics for the species.
RESUMO
O presente trabalho compreende o levantamento taxonômico de Portulacaceae Juss. e Talinaceae Doweld para o Estado da Paraíba, Brasil. No período de Agosto/2016 a Abril/2018, foram realizadas coletas e observações em campo complementadas pelas análises das coleções dos herbários locais (EAN, HACAM e JPB). As identificações de gêneros e espécies foram realizadas com o auxílio da literatura especializada para Portulacaceae e Talinaceae. Foram registradas nove espécies em dois gêneros Portulaca L. (Portulacaceae), com sete espécies, dentre as quais Portulaca grandiflora Höok., como novo registro para a flora paraíbana e Talinum Adans. (Talinaceae), com duas espécies presentes na área estudada. Foram confeccionadas descrições morfológicas, chaves para famílias, gêneros e respectivas espécies bem como apresentados dados de distribuição geográfica, habitats, floração e/ou frutificação, imagens, estampas em nanquim e comentários sobre afinidades taxonômicas baseados em características vegetativas e reprodutivas para as espécies.
