O triunfo da religião e a incerta sobrevivência da psicanálise / The triumph of religion and the uncertain survival of psychoanalysis

RESUMO

Este artigo aborda o tema da religião na perspectiva tomada por Lacan nas conferências realizadas na Universidade Católica de Bruxelas e intituladas O triunfo da religião, precedida por Discurso aos católicos. Nessas conferências, de uma forma premonitória, anuncia o triunfo da religião. Procuramos examinar o sentido dessa afirmação buscando seu fundamento na teoria psicanalítica dos discursos e na estrutura do sujeito do inconsciente.(AU)

ABSTRACT

This article approaches the theme of religion in Lacan’s perspective in his conferences made in Catholic University of Brussels, entitled "The Triumph of Religion" and "Speech to Catholics". In those conferences, Lacan, in an premonitory way, announces the triumph of religion. We have looked for the meaning of this assertion, searching for its foundations in the psychoanalytical theory of discourse and in the structure of the subject of the unconscious.(AU)
