Mães de Anjos: A experiência de mulheres que tiveram um filho natimorto / Mothers of Angels: The experience of women who had a stillborn child

RESUMO

A gestação e a maternidade são marcadas por intensas vivências e múltiplas exigências; é um período de reorganização corporal, familiar, social e psíquica. Por esses fatores, a perda gestacional se torna um fenômeno bastante complexo, pois há um abrupto rompimento das transformações gestacionais e a perda do bebê implica a vivência do luto. O óbito fetal é caracterizado pela morte do feto antes da expulsão completa do corpo da mãe a partir da 22° semana de gestação. O presente estudo teve o objetivo de identificar aspectos psíquicos de mulheres que passaram pela experiência da perda por óbito fetal e analisar o processo de luto. Trata-se de uma pesquisa clínico-qualitativa descritiva. Para a coleta dos dados utilizou-se amostragem proposital e/ou intencional por “bola de neve” e entrevista semidirigida. A técnica utilizada para análise das entrevistas foi a análise de conteúdo. Os resultados apontaram três categorias É algo que vem pra ti e ponto, A perda fetal e os laços sociais e Mães de anjos. Foi demonstrado como o tabu sobre o óbito fetal pode prejudicar o luto e reforçar preconceitos com mulheres que viveram essa experiência. A forma que as entrevistadas encontraram de se sentirem acolhidas foram grupos de apoio, nos quais puderam se nomear como “mães de anjos”.(AU)

ABSTRACT

Pregnancy and motherhood are marked by intense experiences and multiple demands, it is a period of bodily, family, social and psychological reorganization. Due to these factors, pregnancy loss becomes a very complex phenomenon, as there is an abrupt rupture of gestational changes and the loss of the baby implies the experience of mourning. Fetal death is characterized by the death of the fetus before the complete expulsion of the mother's body from the 22nd week of gestation. The present study aimed to identify psychic aspects of women who went through the experience of loss due to fetal death and to analyze the grieving process. This is a clinical-qualitative, descriptive research. For data collection, purposeful and/or intentional sampling by “snowball” was used and were collected through semi-directed interviews. The technique used to analyze the interviews was content analysis. The results pointed out three categories "It is something that comes to you, period","The fetal loss and the social bonds" and "Mothers of angels". Its shown how the fetal death as a taboo can harm the mourning and reinforce prejudices against women who have lived this experience. The way in which the interviewees found themselves feeling welcomed was through the support groups, in which they were able to name themselves as “mothers of angels”.(AU)
