Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica con el objetivo de actualizar a los lectores sobre la relación entre la salud bucal, el embarazo y la responsabilidad de ambos progenitores. Múltiples acciones se realizan en busca de la igualdad con equidad de género y se despliegan grandes esfuerzos para el desmontaje de la cultura de roles pautados estereotipadamente a mujeres y hombres en la sociedad, promover acciones para elevar la responsabilidad de las madres y padres es una tarea de primer orden(AU)

ABSTRACT
