RESUMEN

La carga inmediata apareció a finales de los 80, chocando de frente con los principios fundamentales establecidos por el profesor Bränemark, padre de la implantología moderna; arrojando unos resultados estadísticamente satisfactorios. Mediante esta técnica los implantes se someten a fuerzas funcionales en un periodo no mayor de 24 horas. Además de la ventaja estética que esto representa para el paciente, presenta una ventaja adicional desde el punto de vista biomecánico ya que las fuerzas oclusales son simultáneas a la implantación, provocando deformaciones, que estimulan el mecanostato óseo, desencadenando la oseoinducción. Se presenta un caso donde se describe la técnica utilizada y se muestran las bondades de dicho tratamiento.(AU)

ABSTRACT

The immediate loading appeared at the end of the 80s, facing the main principles stablished by professor Branemark, the father of modern implantology. Satisfactory statistical results are evidenced. Through this technique the implants are analized by functional forces during a period no longer than 24 hours. Apart from the aesthetic advantage that this technique represents for the patient, there is also an additional advantage since the biomechanical point of view because the oclussal forces are simultaneous to the implantation, provoking malformations that stimulate the bone mechanostate, bringing about the osseoinduction. It is then presented a case where it is described the applied technique and there is shown the advantage of this treatment.(EU)
