ABSTRACT
The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation in Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) has endorsed and adopted the new interprofessional Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education (the Standards), which replace the previous ANCC Content Integrity Standards. The first column in this two-column series, which appeared last month, described the why, what, and when of the new Standards. This second column will address the how of the new Standards and will outline strategies to successfully implement the new Standards in accredited organizations. Case scenario examples will be discussed to provide clarity on applying the Standards to commonly encountered situations. [J Contin Educ Nurs. 2022;53(2)52-54.].
