The Moral Injury Events ScaleCivilian Version is a reliable and valid instrument.The original 2-factor solution (Perceived Transgressions, Perceived Betrayals) yielded a good fit to the data.Moral injury's Perceived Betrayals factor predicted bipolar disorders, PTSD, and three personality disorders (paranoid PD, borderline PD, avoidant PD).
