ABSTRACT
Objective: To detect the role of hypoxia in the regulation of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and matrix metalloproteinase 2 (MMP 2) in oral squamous cell carcinoma cell lines. Methods: Oral squamous cell carcinoma TSCCa and TNM cells were treated by hypoxia at ?=1% of oxygen for 4~12 h. VEGF and MMP 2 in the cells were quantitatively determined by enzymelinked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).
