Effect of Pingchuanning on the Levels of LTB4 and sICAM-1 of Guinea Pigs with Asthma / 中国中医药信息杂志

ABSTRACT

Objective To observe the effect of Pingchuanning on the levels of LTB4 and sICAM-1 of guinea pigs with asthma. Methods The model guinea pigs of asthma were sensitized with ovalbumin (OVA),the changes of the delitescence of asthma was observed. The levels of LTB4 in serum and sICAM-1 in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) were also observed by means of enzyme-linked immunosorbent (ELISA). Result Comparing with the model group,the delitescence of asthma was obviously prolonged in guinea pigs treated by Pingchuanning.
