Diagnosis progress of POEMS syndrome / 中国医师杂志

ABSTRACT

POEMS syndrome is a kind of plasma cell disorder with multi-system involved,whose character includes polyneuropathy,organomegaly,endocrinopathy,monoclonal plasma cell disorder,as well as skin changes.Its pathogenesis is not clear,with low incidence,high misdiagnosis rate and high disability rate.There are still a variety of dispute on its diagnosis.Here this article reviewed the diagnostic progress of POEMS syndrome recent years.
