ABSTRACT
Objective:To explore the application effect of vacuum sealing drainage in burn plastic surgery, and to provide guidance for clinical practice. Methods:From May 2016 to May 2018, 118 burn patients who underwent plastic surgery in Yiwu Central Hospital were selected in the research. The patients were divided into observation group(59 cases) and control group(59 cases) according to the random digital table method. The observation group was treated with vacuum sealing drainage after operation, and the control group was treated with traditional povidone iodine oil gauze after operation. The pain score, skin grafting time, wound cleaning time, wound healing time, skin grafting failure rate, infection rate, antibiotic use rate, antibiotic use time and hospitalization time of the two groups were compared. Results:The skin grafting time, wound cleaning time and wound healing time of the observation group were (8.15±1.02)d, (6.25±1.36)d, (16.02±3.58)d, respectively, which were shorter than those of the control group[(14.02±1.25)d, (12.15±3.36)d, (22.15±4.61)d], and the differences were statistically significant( t=27.947, 12.502, 8.067, all P<0.001). The pain score of the observation group was (1.65±0.25)points, which was lower than that of the control group[(3.75±0.36)points, t=36.803, P<0.001]. The failure rate of skin grafting[1.69%(1/59)], infection rate[5.08%(3/59)], antibiotic use rate[30.51%(8/59)] in the observation group were lower than those in the control group[18.64%(11/59), 20.34%(12/59), 49.15%(29/59)](χ 2=9.276, 6.186, 4.279, all P<0.05). The duration of antibiotic use and hospitalization in the observation group were (7.58±2.36)d and(18.25±2.61)d, which were shorter than those in the control group[(9.69±2.75)d and (25.24±2.36)d]( t=4.472, 15.259, all P<0.001). Conclusion:Vacuum sealing and drainage can shorten the time of skin grafting, wound cleaning and wound healing, reduce the pain of patients, reduce the use of antibiotics, and the failure rate of skin grafting is low.
