Currículos e resistências: "libertem Ângela Davis e todos os presos políticos" / Curriculums and resistance: "free Angela Davis and all the political prisoners"

RESUMO

Esse texto é fruto de um trabalho da disciplina de "Orientação Sexual" num curso de pós-graduação em "Temas Transversais", a partir da consideração de Ângela Davis como um dos ícones a serem mais investigados e conhecidos por todos nós. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi identificar os discursos presentes no documentário "Libertem Ângela Davis...", para tal, o recurso metodológico qualitativo utilizado foi a análise de discurso foucaultiana. Ao considerar o documentário como um "texto cultural" que ensina modos de ser, ou seja, divulga um currículo, destacamos que esse vídeo discursa representações e significados pautados na luta do movimento dos negros e negras que resistem aos diversos tipos de preconceitos e enfrentam suas batalhas. O documentário se desenha a partir da história de Ângela, mulher, negra, filósofa, professora e ativista. Ângela Davis com coragem e conhecimento, nos provoca a refletir sobre as questões do papel da mulher negra e nessa trajetória ela narra que queria estar lá, ela queria estar presente, ela queria participar da história. Portanto, no momento atual, também queremos estar lá e queremos participar da história, conhecer e divulgar Ângela Davis é uma das formas de vivermos a história.

ABSTRACT

This text is the result of a work of the discipline of "Sexual Orientation" in a postgraduate course in "Transversal Themes", from the consideration of Ângela Davis as one of the icons to be more investigated and known by all of us. The objective of this research was to identify the discourses present in the documentary "Liberdade Ângela Davis ...", for such, the qualitative methodological resource used was the analysis of Foucaultian discourse. In considering the documentary as a "cultural text" that teaches ways of being, that is, it disseminates a curriculum, we emphasize that this video discurses representations and meanings based on the struggle of the black and black movement that resist to the diverse types of prejudices and face their battles. The documentary is drawn from the story of Angela, a woman, a black woman, a philosopher, a teacher and an activist. Angela Davis with courage and knowledge, provokes us to reflect on the issues of the role of the black woman and in this trajectory she narrates that she wanted to be there, she wanted to be present, she wanted to participate in the story. So at the present time, we also want to be there and we want to participate in the story, to know and to spread Angela Davis is one of the ways to live the story.
