RESUMEN

Entre las enfermedades tropicales, se ha analizado y se reconoce el potencial efecto o riesgo de algunas enfermedades en particular como Malaria, Zika y Chikungunya sobre la salud de la mujer gestante y de su producto gestacional; sin embargo, entre los profesionales en ejercicio no sucede lo mismo con el Dengue, pero sin embargo este tipo de información parece ser desconocida. El objetivo de la presente revisión es presentar revisión científica generada desde diversas perspectivas, acerca de las implicaciones materno-perinatales asociadas al Dengue; el cual es una de las enfermedades víricas con mayor potencial infectante, capaz de generar epidemias de gran magnitud. Se obtuvo la información en bases de datos médicas como PUBMED, LILACS, MEDES. ELSEVIER, de las cuales se compilaron los resultados de investigaciones realizadas en los diferentes continentes afectados por esta enfermedad.

ABSTRACT

Among tropical diseases, the potential effect or risk of some particular diseases such as Malaria, Zika and Chikungunya on the health of pregnant women and their gestational product has been analyzed and recognized; However, the same is not true among Dengue professionals, but this type of information seems to be unknown. The objective of this review is to present the scientific generated from various perspectives, about the maternal and perinatal implications associated with Dengue; which is one of the viral diseases with the greatest infectious potential, capable of generating epidemics of great magnitude. The information was obtained in medical databases such as PUBMED, LILACS, MEDES. ELSEVIER, of which the results of research conducted in the different continents affected by this disease were compiled.
