Lazer e museus: uma reflexão sobre seus significados e interações / Leisure and museums: a reflection on their meanings and interactions

RESUMO

O presente artigo traz uma reflexão teórica acerca dos significados e das interações entre o Lazer e os Museus. Os procedimentos metodológicos consistiram em revisão bibliográfica e análise documental. O percurso metodológico adotado permitiu uma ampla investigação sobre o universo museal e o lazer ao longo de diversos períodos históricos até o paradigma atual, com destaque ao que se convencionou chamar de Nova Museologia. Neste novo paradigma, pautado pela indústria cultural, consideramos que as novas formas de interação dos Museus com o seu público são sempre mediadas na perspectiva do lazer cultural e pelo alcance da importante função social dos museus.

ABSTRACT

This article brings a theoretical reflection on the meanings and interactions between Leisure and Museums. The methodological procedures consisted of bibliographic review and document analysis. The methodological path adopted allowed a wide investigation of the museum universe and leisure over several historical periods up to the current paradigm, with emphasis on what was conventionally called New Museology. In this new paradigm, guided by the cultural industry, we consider that the new forms of interaction between Museums and their public, is always mediated from the perspective of cultural leisure and the reach of the important social function of museums.
