Efectividad en intervenciones terapéuticas con niños y adolescentes: factores asociados a la persona del terapeuta y la alianza terapéutica / Effectiveness of therapeutic interventions with children and adolescents: factors associated with the person of the therapist and therapeutic alliance

RESUMEN

Existe un desarrollo creciente de investigación en efectividad de intervenciones terapéuticas, con un énfasis en la identificación de aquellos factores que resultan ser críticos para el cambio y éxito terapéutico. No obstante, la investigación se ha centrado en intervenciones con adultos, generalizándose sus resultados hacia el campo de las intervenciones con niños y adolescentes, existiendo menos investigación focalizada en este grupo etario. El presente artículo aborda variables del terapeuta y de la alianza terapéutica en la psicoterapia con niños y adolescentes, las revisa conceptualmente, y muestra evidencias sobre sus implicancias y aportes a los procesos de cambio en psicoterapia en este grupo.

ABSTRACT

There is growing research on the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, with an emphasis on identifying those factors that appear to be critical for change and therapeutic success. However, research has focused on interventions with adults, and the results are then generalized to interventions with children and adolescents, but there is limited specialized literature in this age group. This paper develops the concepts of variables of the therapist and the therapeutic alliance, in terms of their implications and contributions to the processes of change in psychotherapy with children and adolescents.
