Determinante da saúde no Brasil: a procura da equidade na saúde / Health determinants in Brasil: searching for health equity

RESUMO

Resumo A questão da qualidade de vida associa-se quase de forma imediata à saúde. Para além dos fatores médicos, existem outros que afetam ou influenciam de forma determinante a saúde dos indivíduos. Esta influência é de tal forma, que se estima atualmente ser superior quando comparada com fatores que estão ao alcance da medicina. A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo identificar, por meio da bibliometria, quais são os determinantes da saúde de maior impacto na saúde da população. Para alcançar o objetivo foi desenvolvida uma pesquisa descritiva, com recurso ao método de análise bibliométrica (ferramenta estatística que possibilita recolher informação por meio de diversos indicadores para tratar essa informação), de forma a identificar os tipos de documentos encontrados na pesquisa, a distribuição pelo local de publicação, a identificação de periódicos, quais os determinantes da saúde identificados nos documentos e ano de publicação, quais os determinantes estudados, o método de pesquisa utilizado e as entidades/autores mais citados. Foi possível concluir que o foco de pesquisa (de acordo com os dados recolhidos) são os determinantes sociais da saúde, com os peritos a considerarem que estes são em grande parte responsáveis pela iniquidade no acesso aos cuidados de saúde.

ABSTRACT

Abstract Usually the issue of quality of life is almost immediately associated with health. In addition to medical factors, there are others that affect or influence individual's health in a determinant way. This influence is such that it is currently estimated to be superior when compared to factors within the reach of medicine. The scope of this research is to identify, through bibliometrics, which are the determinants of health with more impact on the population. In order to achieve the objective, a descriptive research was developed using the bibliometric analysis method (a statistical tool that allows to collect information through several indicators to treat this information), in order to identify the types of documents found in the research, identification of journals, determinants of health identified in documents and year of publication, which were the determinants studied, the research method used and the most cited entities/authors. It was possible to conclude that the focus of research (according to the data collected) is the social determinants of health, with experts considering that these determinants are largely responsible for inequity in access to health care.
