RESUMO

A questão acerca de se há uma “nova” forma de pluralismo médico é relativamente recente. Para debatê-la, restringindo a discussão aos contextos alemão e indiano, foi realizado, em 2011, um simpósio no Instituto de História da Medicina da Fundação Robert Bosch, em Stuttgart, Alemanha. A abordagem escolhida foi multidisciplinar foram convidados panelistas incluindo médicos homeopatas, historiadores, antropólogos e filósofos. Este artigo apresenta um resumo das apresentações e das conclusões do debate.(AU)

ABSTRACT

The issue around whether there is a “new” variety of medical pluralism is quite recent. To discuss it, restricted to the German and Indian settings, a conference was carried out in 2011 at the Institute for the History of Medicine of the Robert Bosch Foundation, Stuttgart, Germany. A multidisciplinary approach was selected participants included practicing homeopathic physicians, historians, anthropologists and philosophers. This articles summarizes the individual presentations and the conclusions reached.(AU)
