RESUMO

Studies on zoantharians (Cnidaria: Anthozoa: Zoantharia) from Indian waters are exceptionally sparse. Most studies were carried out on the colonial inter-tidal species whereas exploration from shallow coastal waters is yet to be carried out thoroughly. The present study reports the first record of one of the four species of free-living and solitary genus Sphenopus Steenstrup, 1856; Sphenopus marsupialis (Gmelin, 1791) from Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The specimens were collected from the sandy bottom of Point Island at depths of 25 to 38 m. Detailed morphological features along with distributional ranges are reported here.

RESUMO

"Malignant mesothelioma (MM)" is an uncommon although fatal form of cancer. The proper MM diagnosis is crucial for efficient therapy and has significant medicolegal implications. Asbestos is a carcinogenic material that poses a health risk to humans. One of the most severe types of cancer induced by asbestos is "malignant mesothelioma." Prolonged shortness of breath and continuous pain are the most typical symptoms of the condition. The importance of early treatment and diagnosis cannot be overstated. The combination "epithelial/mesenchymal appearance of MM," however, makes a definite diagnosis difficult. This study is aimed at developing a deep learning system for medical diagnosis MM automatically. Otherwise, the sickness might cause patients to succumb to death in a short amount of time. Various forms of artificial intelligence algorithms for successful "Malignant Mesothelioma illness" identification are explored in this research. In relation to the concept of traditional machine learning, the techniques support "Vector Machine, Neural Network, and Decision Tree" are chosen. SPSS has been used to analyze the result regarding the applications of Neural Network helps to diagnose MM.

RESUMO

Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) is a contiguous disease which affected a large volume of population with a high mortality rate across the globe. For dealing with the recent spread of COVID-19, one of the prime measures was to vaccinate people in full extent. People across the globe have diverse opinion regarding the vaccination process, its side effect and effectiveness. Such opinions get located into different micro-blogging sites including twitter. Opinion mining through analyzing public sentiments of such micro-blogs is a common method for detection of public responses. This paper focuses on classifying the public opinions expressed related to COVID-19 vaccination at sub topic level. The procedure tries to find out different keywords regarding positive, negative and neutral sentences. From those keywords, different related query set was constructed using Rocchio query expansion algorithm for positive, negative and neutral sentiments. Later Extended query set is used to form subtopic using LDA algorithm to identify the nature of the tweets. The proposed LDA model came across with 0.56 coherence score with twenty subtopics, which is fair enough to classify the tweets in different classes. This trained model is finally used to classify the tweets in real time with Apache Kafka framework regarding different subtopic based on positive, negative or neutral sentiment.

RESUMO

Uterine inversion is an uncommon and unpredictable but potentially life threatening obstetric emergency. The typical presentation is that of severe postpartum haemorrhage and shock along with a mass either felt in the vagina or protruding outside the introitus. Early recognition and prompt management (by teamwork) by simultaneous correction of shock and repositioning of the inverted uterus are imperative in order to minimize the potential for maternal morbidity and mortality. There is a need for skills and drills training because of the rarity of acute inversion. Here is a present a case report of acute inversion of uterus following vaginal delivery and its management. The accompanying review of the literature provides helpful insights into the diagnosis and optimal management of this potentially life threatening condition.

RESUMO

This was a well-controlled hospital-based longitudinal prospective randomized study with a sole focus on pre-eclampsia cases, where cardiotocography (CTG) and colored Doppler were the two special investigative tools applied to examine the perinatal outcome. The study concluded with a note that antenatal CTG is a useful objective test to know the intrauterine fetal status but it cannot forecast the fetal behavior during labor, neither does it provide a guide to optimize the timing of induction of labor (IOL) or termination by cesarean section. Color Doppler indices done after 34 weeks definitely give a qualitative assessment of fetoplacental perfusion but it cannot predict the said perfusion during labor - when there occurs a degree of compromise with the uterus contracting repetitively. Ultrasonography (USG) for fetal biometry and liquor volume is a good test to determine small for gestational age or intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) as the case may be taking cognizance of other factors e.g., preeclampsia, fetal congenital anomaly, etc. Every mother with pre-eclampsia needs to be evaluated both clinically, biochemically and ultrasonologically. Understanding the limitation of antenatal CTG and color Doppler indices, these should be applied in a few selected cases e.g., increased fetal movement, IUGR, which is reassuring to both the patient and the doctor who can wait till a reasonable degree of fetal maturity occurs before one goes for IOL or a cesarean section. Patients with a suspicious CTG should undergo continuous CTG during labor - otherwise there is always a tendency to go for an early lower-segment cesarean section (LSCS). For a pre-eclamptic mother with a pathological CTG the decision is an elective LSCS; whereas, cases with pathological CTG but normal Doppler indices the judgment is too difficult. The answer then would lie on factors like whether the pre-eclampsia is controlled and whether the biochemical and hematological parameters are within normal limits. Of course thanks to the presence of a special newborn care unit (SNCU) nearby.
