RESUMO

Peculiarities of reparative processes of bioactive ceramic material "Syntekost", as well as reaction of structures of internal ear on these material, transplanted on osteal bulla in guinea pigs for experimental model of antromastoidotomy creation, were studied up. The signs of its resorbtion were mild, and these processes not always paralleled the osteal tissue evolvement. A newly formed osteal beams were observed up to 90-th day. In terms up to 12 mo there were preserved practically unchanged groups of granules of ceramic implanted material. New bone have evolved in a kind of foci in a distance from internal surface of osteal bulla. Inflammation or ototoxic impact of the material on structures of internal ear were not observed.

RESUMO

Adhesive towards the cells properties of three polypropylene net prostheses (PNP), manufactured by "Espera", with the slots size 1 x 1 mm, 2 x 2 mm, 2 x 4 mm and one specimen (the slot diameter 1 mm) on the oxycellulose background, were tested for prognostication of hernioplasty results, using nonresorbable PNP. The adhesion degree and peculiarities of cellular line, obtained from embryonal kidney of pig, put on the tested nets specimen in conditions of cultivation during 5 - 10 days were estimated, using inverted microscope in regime of phasic contrast. The data obtained witness the lowered cellular adhesion towards PNP "Espera" without oxycellular background. The net processing, using components of extracellular matrix, as well as presence of the oxycellulose fragments, facilitate the PNP ingrowth by connective tissue.

RESUMO

Complex application of lisinopril (inhibitor of angiotensin-converting enzyme) and lovastatin (inhibitor of HMG-CoA reductase) inhibits pancreatic fibrosis in the rats, having alcoholic chronic pancreatitis after distal pancreatic resection (DPR). Lisinopril and lovastatin were injected to the rats after DPR in dose 10 mg/kg during 3 weeks. Immunohistochemical markets, such as alpha-smooth-muscle actin (alpha-SMA), desmin, glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP), vimentin, and expression of matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1) as well as inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinase-2 (TIMP-2) were detected for estimation of therapeutic impact on activity and quantity of stellate pancreatic cells. Under the influence of lisinopril and lovastatin there were observed lowering in the stellate pancreatic cells activity and in expression of SMA, desmin, GFAP, vimentin and TIMP-2, the MMP-1 and TIMP-2 ratio have had increased significantly and severity of fibrotic pancreatic affection had reduced trustworthy in comparison w such, occurring in a control group.

RESUMO

Lisinopril (angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor) attenuates fibrotic changes in pancreas after distal pancreatectomy in rats with experimental alcohol induced chronic pancreatitis. Lisinopril was administered after distal pancreatectomy in rats with experimental alcohol induced chronic pancreatitis. The animals were treated with lisinopril at the dose of 10 mg/kg body weight per day for 21 days after operation. To estimate the efficacy of the treatment on activity and number of pancreatic stellate cells the immunohistochemical investigation was made with alpha-smooth muscle actin (alpha-SMA), desmin, vimentin, glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP), matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1), tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-2 (TIMP-2) using. The treatment of rats after operation with lisinopril inhibite activity of pancreatic stellate cells and characterized by significant decrease of the alpha-SMA, desmin, GFAP, vimentin and TIMP-2 expression. The ratio of MMP-1/TIMP-2 was greater in the group with treatment then in the control group. This therapy had a trend to alleviate the fibrotic changes in pancreas.

RESUMO

Taking into account the fact, that unsatisfactory results of treatment of the thumbs traumatic damage are significantly caused by presence of anatomic disruption of the thumbs palm's own arteries with chronic tissue ischemia occurrence. One of consequences of damage of the three-phalanx thumbs interphalanx joints and the thumbs palm's own arteries is a formation of quickly progressing secondary flexing contracture of proximal interphalanx joints (PIPHJ). In the investigations accomplished there was established, that the changed tissues of the flexors tendons and their sheaths, forming cicatricial blockade distally to the primary trauma site, are taking part in a PIPHJ contracture development while arterial perfusion presence. The tissues damage severity, as well as a severity of clinical features of the tendons and their sheaths damage, depends on a degree of an arterial perfusion disorder present,

RESUMO

The arterial inflow disorder and occurrence of an acute and subsequent chronic ischemia constitutes frequent complication of a hand and fingers trauma. One of the consequences of ischemic damage of tissues is formation of a flexor contracture of fingers, involving the flexors tendons. In extrasheath zone the blood supply is secured by paratendon--a connective tissue, taking part in the tendons sliding. According to data, obtained during morphological investigation of paratendon in laboratory animals, there was established its principal similarity with multimicrovacuolar collagenic absorbing system of a man. She constitutes a spatial porous structure, packed with cellular elements and vessels. While simulation in experimental conditions of the blood flow disorders, which in physiological environment is secured by paratendon, alike in disorder of the bone-tendon and muscle-tendon pathways of blood supply, there were revealed the coarse changes in the tendon structure and pronounced adhesion of tendons with loss of their sliding capacity, what had permitted to consider the paratendon blood circulation a dominating one.

RESUMO

A new method of the live biological tissues connection, using thermal energy of a high-temperature argon plasma, constituting perspective trend of application of a new nonsuture methods of the tissues connection, original for the world practice, was elaborated in the Department of Experimental Surgery together with the Institute of welding named after Academician E. O. Paton NAS of Ukraine. The argon-plasma welding application secure safe adhesion of the connecting surfaces formation due to the protein complexes temperature denaturation occurrence. The absence of foreign bodies in the connection zone as well as the presence of the plasma flow bacterocidal properties secure, while application of this new method, a significant lowering of a bacterial soiling of the formatted anastomoses, not interfering with the tissue natural regeneration process course.

RESUMO

The plasm welding of the gut organs--perspective trend, which permits to increase the surgeon possibilities in performance of operative intervention. The results of operations, performed on large intestine and stomach, trusts, that it is possible to apply the streams of the high temperature gas plasm for the tissues dissection and connection. There are such advantages of the method, as the operation time shortage, simplicity in manipulating "Plasmomed" apparatus, absence of foreign bodies in the connection zone, high degree of hemostasis achieved. After the operation there was observed rapid restoration of the main structure elements in the large intestine and stomach wall, localized in the plasm welding zone. There was elaborated and tested a new method of the living tissues welding, and the processes, occurring in tissues within the plasm welding application zone, were studied up.
