Workplace Ostracism is known to be a physically and emotionally painful experience. Even if it has a temporary and minor impact, it strongly predicts employee turnover intentions. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to examine the moderating effects of perceptions of Organizational Virtuousness (OV) and Authentic Leadership (AL) in explaining the relationship between Workplace Ostracism (WO) and employees' Turnover Intentions (TI). Data were collected from 686 full-time employees using a non-probabilistic convenience sampling in India's Information Technology (IT) companies. The reliability and validity of scales were assessed using confirmatory factor analysis. Multiple hierarchical regression modeling was used to test the proposed hypotheses using IBM SPSS 23.0 with Process Macro 3.5. The present study's findings suggest that workplace ostracism is significantly related to employees' turnover intentions. Furthermore, perceptions of organizational virtuousness and authentic leadership moderated the relationship between workplace ostracism and employee turnover intentions. Employee turnover is a gigantic problem for IT firms in India. The present study offers valuable insights to managers to create awareness of workplace ostracism. Implementing managerial strategies rooted in positive psychology can help organizations create a more inclusive, supportive, and psychologically healthy work environment. This, in turn, can reduce the occurrence of workplace ostracism and turnover intentions.

A Li-rich layered oxide (LLO) cathode with morphology-dependent electrochemical performance with the composition Li1.23Mn0.538Ni0.117Co0.114O2 in three different microstructural forms, namely, randomly shaped particles, platelets, and nanofibers, is synthesized through the solid-state reaction (SSR-LLO), hydrothermal method (HT-LLO), and electrospinning process (ES-LLO), respectively. Even though the cathodes possess different morphologies, structurally they are identical. The elemental dispersion studies using energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy mapping in scanning transmission electron microscopy show uniform distribution of elements. However, SSR-LLO and ES-LLO nanofibers show slight Co-rich regions. The electrochemical studies of LLO cathodes are evaluated in terms of charging/discharging, C-rate capability, and cyclic stability performances. A high reversible capacity of 275 mA h g-1 is achieved in the fibrous LLO cathode which also demonstrates good high-rate capability (80 mA h g-1 at 10 C-rate). These capacities and rate capabilities are superior to those of SSR-LLO [210.5 mA h g-1 (0.1 C-rate) and 4 mA h g-1 (3 C-rate)] and HT-LLO [242 mA h g-1 (0.1 C-rate) and 22 mA h g-1 (10 C-rate)] cathodes. The ES-LLO cathode exhibits 88% capacity retention after 100 cycles at 1 C-rate. A decrease in voltage on cycling is found to be common in all three cathodes; however, minimal voltage decay and capacity loss are observed in ES-LLO upon cycling. Well-connected small LLO particles constituting fibrous microstructural forms in ES-LLO provide an enhanced electrolyte/cathode interfacial area and reduced diffusion path length for Li+. This, in turn, facilitates superior electrochemical performance of the electrospun Co-low LLO cathode suitable for quick charge battery applications.

Aims: The advent of trabecular metal (TM) augments has revolutionized the management of severe bone defects during acetabular reconstruction. The purpose of this study was to evaluate patients undergoing revision total hip arthroplasty (THA) with the use of TM augments for reconstruction of Paprosky IIIA and IIIB defects. Patients and Methods: A retrospective study was conducted at four centres between August 2008 and January 2015. Patients treated with TM augments and TM shell for a Paprosky grade IIIA or IIIB defect, in the absence of pelvic discontinuity, and who underwent revision hip arthroplasty with the use of TM augments were included in the study. A total of 41 patients with minimum follow-up of two years were included and evaluated using intention-to-treat analysis. Results: There were 36 (87.8%) patients with a Paprosky IIIA defect and five (12.2%) patients with a Paprosky IIIB defect. The mean age was 56.7 years (28 to 94). There were 21 (51.2%) women and 20 (48.8%) men. The mean follow-up was 39.4 months (12 to 96). One (2%) patient died after eight years. No failures were noted in the series. The mean survivorship was 100% at the time of latest follow-up. Conclusion: The results of this multicentre study showed encouraging short- and mid-term results for the use of TM augments in the management of Paprosky grade IIIA and IIIB defects.
