RESUMO
Organic core/shell heterostructures have undergone rapid progress in materials chemistry owing to the integration of a wide array of unique properties. Nonetheless, the intricate challenge of regulating homogeneous nucleation and phase separation processes in excessively analogous cocrystal structures presents a formidable barrier to expanding the synthesis strategy for organic core/shell heterostructures. Herein, we successfully achieved a phase separation growth process facilitated by the organic alloy interface layer through a dynamic visualization to capture the intricate morphological evolution. By finely regulating the nucleation process, homogeneous self-assembly induced by high chemical and structural compatibility is circumvented, enabling the formation of organic core/shell heterostructures. Notably, this core/shell architecture boasts dual-wavelength emission at 496 and 696 nm, accompanied by an optical loss coefficient of 0.092 dB per micrometer. This methodology shows potential for extending to the scalable design of other conformational cocrystal heterostructure systems, thereby offering valuable insights into the realm of organic photonics.
RESUMO
BACKGROUND: Long-term exposure to a high altitude environment with low pressure and low oxygen could cause abnormalities in the structure and function of the heart. Myocardial strain is a sensitive indicator for assessing myocardial dysfunction, monitoring myocardial strain is of great significance for the early diagnosis and treatment of high altitude heart-related diseases. This study applies cardiac magnetic resonance tissue tracking technology (CMR-TT) to evaluate the changes in left ventricular myocardial function and structure in rats in high altitude environment. METHODS: 6-week-old male rats were randomized into plateau hypoxia rats (plateau group, n = 21) as the experimental group and plain rats (plain group, n = 10) as the control group. plateau group rats were transported from Chengdu (altitude: 360 m), a city in a plateau located in southwestern China, to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau (altitude: 3850 m), Yushu, China, and then fed for 12 weeks there, while plain group rats were fed in Chengdu(altitude: 360 m), China. Using 7.0 T cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) to evaluate the left ventricular ejection fraction (EF), end-diastolic volume (EDV), end-systolic volume (ESV) and stroke volume (SV), as well as myocardial strain parameters including the peak global longitudinal (GLS), radial (GRS), and circumferential strain (GCS). The rats were euthanized and a myocardial biopsy was obtained after the magnetic resonance imaging scan. RESULTS: The plateau rats showed more lower left ventricular GLS and GRS (P < 0.05) than the plain rats. However, there was no statistically significant difference in left ventricular EDV, ESV, SV, EF and GCS compared to the plain rats (P > 0.05). CONCLUSIONS: After 12 weeks of exposure to high altitude low-pressure hypoxia environment, the left ventricular global strain was partially decreased and myocardium is damaged, while the whole heart ejection fraction was still preserved, the myocardial strain was more sensitive than the ejection fraction in monitoring cardiac function.

Organic spintronics has caused a huge revolution in creating highly efficient low-power circuits. Spin manipulation in organic cocrystals has become a promising strategy to uncover more chemicophysical properties for diverse applications. In this Minireview, we summarize the recent advancements of spin properties in organic charge-transfer cocrystals, and briefly describe the possible mechanisms behind them. Beside the known spin properties (spin multiplicity, mechanoresponsive spin, chiral orbit and spin-crossover) in binary/ternary cocrystals, other spin phenomena in radical cocrystals and spin transport are also summarized and discussed. Hopefully, deep understanding of current achievements, challenges and perspectives will offer the clear direction for the introduction of spin in organic cocrystals.
RESUMO
Robust scaffolds were typically applied in thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) molecules to suppress the non-radiative decay, trigger the fast spin-flipping, and enhance the light out-coupling efficiency. Herein, we disclosed for the first time the positive effect of flexible conformation of ancillary groups on the photophysical properties of TADF emitter. The red TADF emitter Ph-TPA with flexible conformation demonstrated small excited-state structural distortion and low reorganization energy compared to the counterpart Mc-TPA with a rigid macrocycle. Consequently, Ph-TPA showed an excellent photoluminescent quantum yield (PLQY) of 92 % and a state-of-the-art external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 30.6 % at 630â nm. This work could deepen our understanding of structure-property relationships of organic luminophores and help us to rationalize the design of efficient TADF materials.

BACKGROUND: To investigate venous thromboembolism (VTE) in hospitalized patients with severe high altitude pulmonary edema (HAPE), we performed a single center retrospective study to evaluate its clinical characteristics, prognosis, and potential thromboprophylaxis strategies in a large referral and treatment center in plateau regions. METHODS: We studied a total of 18 patients with severe HAPE from January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2021. Demographic and clinical data, laboratory data, including ultrasound scans of the lower extremities and cardiac ultrasound, and computed tomographic pulmonary angiography (CTPA) variables were obtained, and comparisons were made between groups with and without VTE. RESULTS: Of the 18 patients hospitalized with severe HAPE (age 43 (range, 34-54) years, 14 [77.8%] men), 7 patients developed VTE (38.9%), including 5 with deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), 2 of whom had DVT only. Eighteen patients are all firstly rapid ascent to high altitudes which the mean altitude was 3700 m (3656-4050 m). Compared with patients who did not have VTE, patients with VTE had a longer time in hospital (13 [11, 19] versus 9 [7, 12]; P = 0.027), respiratory failure (6 [85.7%] versus 2 [18.2%]; P = 0.013), the shortened APTT (21.50 [19.00, 27.50] versus 26.30 [24.80, 30.10]; P = 0.044) and the higher level of D-dimer (7.81 [4.62, 9.60] versus 2.90 [1.75, 3.37]; P = 0.003). The proportion of thromboprophylaxis is too low in our cohort which 2 of 18 (11.1%) patients were given VTE prophylaxis. There was no statistically significant difference between the VTE and non-VTE groups (0 [0.0%] versus 2 [18.2%]; P = 0.497). CONCLUSIONS: The prevalence of VTE is high in hospitalized patients with severe high altitude pulmonary edema (HAPE). Prophylaxis for venous thromboembolism may be protective in severe HAPE patients after admission. Our data seem to suggest that VTE is probably an additional prognostic factors in patients with severe HAPE.

Organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) suffer from carrier imbalance under high temperatures. We improved their thermal stability by using space interlayers adjacent to the charge transport layers. The current efficiency of the optimized OLEDs increased under high temperature, with an increase of over one order of magnitude of the electron mobility.
RESUMO
BACKGROUND: Integrating medical resources is one of the explorations of medical mechanism reform to meet the needs of whole-cycle health management and is an important initiative in the current round of China's healthcare system reform. 2015 saw the construction of county medical communities to promote the balanced layout of medical resources, which opened a new exploration of the construction of an integrated healthcare service system in China. 2017 saw the promotion of the pilot construction of compact county medical communities in Zhejiang Province, China. OBJECTIVE: From the perspective of alleviating the financial burden on those in need of health services, the characteristics of chronic disease patients' access to health care and the composition and changing curve of the medical cost burden are analyzed to provide a basis for the construction path of an integrated health care service system. METHODS: A retrospective cohort study was conducted to select 5739 permanent residents who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria in Z town, H city, Zhejiang province. This population's health insurance utilization data from 2015 to 2018 were retrieved, and their average annual costs, cost composition, and health insurance payments were analyzed. RESULTS: The average annual growth rates of medical insurance and out-of-pocket costs before and after the implementation of the Medical Community were 12.85% and 9.72%, respectively. The increase narrowed significantly after the construction of the Medical Community, with the ringgit growth rate dropping to 2.73% in 2018. The top three medical expenses that accounted for the highest percentage were drug, consultation, and treatment fees. The frequency of visits to primary health care consulting hospitals has increased yearly. CONCLUSIONS: By implementing various measures to strengthen the grassroots level, patients' choice of primary care has increased year by year in the early stages of the construction of the Medical Community. From the perspective of cost control, strengthening the regulation of drugs and tests and restricting the use of high-value consumables can further reduce medical costs and ease their financial burden.

This study aims to examine the changes in myocardial microcirculation in rats in a high-altitude hypoxic environment via computed tomography (CT) myocardial perfusion imaging technology. Rats in two groups were raised in different environments from 4 weeks of age for a period of 24 weeks. At 28 weeks of age, both groups underwent CT myocardial perfusion scanning, and the following myocardial perfusion parameters were measured: time to peak (TTP), mean transit time (MTT), blood flow (BF), and blood volume (BV). Following the scan, the rats were sacrificed, the cardiac index and right ventricular hypertrophy index were obtained, and hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining was utilized to observe the pathological changes in the myocardium. In the group of rats that are subject to a high-altitude hypoxic environment for 24 weeks (the high-altitude group), the TTP and MTT values were increased (P < 0.05), the BF and BV values were lower (P < 0.05), the right heart mass was higher (P < 0.05) than that in the low-altitude group. As shown by the pathological results of HE staining, the gap between cardiomyocytes in the high-altitude group was widened, the arrangement of cardiomyocytes was irregular, and the cells were filled with a few fat vacuoles. The myocardial microcirculation is altered in a high-altitude hypoxic environment. In particular, the myocardium is in a state of inadequate perfusion, the BF in the myocardium slows down, and the right heart displays compensatory hypertrophy.

CONTEXT: Gouty arthritis (GA) is a characteristically inflammatory disease often associated with lipid metabolism disorder. Huangqin Qingrechubi capsule (HQC) has been used for the treatment of GA. OBJECTIVE: To explore the mechanism of HQC in the treatment of GA. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A total of 30 GA patients (GA group) and 30 healthy subjects [normal control (NC) group] were recruited. The GA group was treated with HQC (3.6 g/d) for 10 days. Lipid metabolism and inflammation indexes were detected. Five herbal names of HQC, or 'gouty arthritis', 'hyperlipidemia' and 'inflammation' were used as key words to search related databases for network pharmacological analysis. Subsequently, GA-fibroblast-like synoviocytes (FLSs) were stimulated with GA-peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) (3:1) and treated with HQC drug-containing serum (20%). RT-qPCR, Western blot, and ELISA were conducted to further explore the mechanism of HQC in improving GA. RESULTS: In clinical observation, HQC decreased the expression of lncRNA H19 and IL-1ß, and increased the expression of adiponectin (APN) and IL-4 in the GA group (about half). Through network pharmacology, the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway was identified. Cell experiments showed that HQC treatment reduced the viability of GA-FLSs (49.61%), up-regulated the expression of IL-4 (155.18%), IL-10 (165.13%), and APN (31.24%), and down-regulated the expression of lncRNA H19 (33.70%), IL-1ß (64.70%), TNF-α (78.32%), p-PI3K (48.80%), and p-AKT (53.48%). DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONS: HQC improved lipid metabolism disorder and inflammatory response of GA by regulating the lncRNA H19/APN/PI3K/AKT. Maintaining the stability of lipid metabolism may be an effective way to alleviate GA.

This study aimed to explore the correlation between traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) and reduced risk of readmission in patients having rheumatoid arthritis with hypoproteinemia(RA-H). A retrospective cohort study was conducted on 2 437 rheumatoid arthritis patients in the information system database of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine from 2014 to 2021, and 476 of them were found to have hypoproteinemia. The patients were divided into TCM users and non-TCM users by propensity score matching. Exposure was defined as the use of oral Chinese patent medicine or herbal decoction for ≥1 month. Cox regression analysis was performed to explore the risk factors of clinical indicators of rheumatoid arthritis. Additionally, the use of TCM during hospitalization was analyzed, and analysis of association rules was conducted to investigate the correlation between TCM, improvement of indicators and readmission of patients. Kaplan-Meier survival curve was plotted to compare the readmission rate of TCM users and non-TCM users. It was found the readmission rate of RA-H patients was significantly higher than that of RA patients. By propensity score matching, 232 RA-H patients were divided into TCM group(116 cases) and non-TCM group(116 cases). Compared with the conditions in the non-TCM group, the readmission rate of the TCM group was lowered(P<0.01), and the readmission rate of middle-aged and elderly patients was higher than that of young patients(P<0.01). Old age was a risk factor for readmission of RA-H patients, while TCM, albumin(ALB) and total protein(TP) were the protective factors. During hospitalization, the TCMs used for RA-H patients were mainly divided into types of activating blood and resolving stasis, relaxing sinew and dredging collaterals, clearing heat and detoxifying, and invigorating spleen and resolving dampness. The improvement of rheumatoid factor(RF), immunoglobulin G(IgG), erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR), C-reactive protein(CRP) and ALB was closely related to TCM. On the basis of western medicine treatment, the application of TCM could reduce the readmission rate of RA-H patients, and longer use of TCM indicated lower readmission rate.

Lipase found in the gut microbiota participates in the digestion and absorption of dietary fats. As such, the gut microbiota is involved in the regulation of the host metabolism, affecting the levels of lipids and free fatty acids, ultimately resulting in obesity. In this study, an enzymatic activatable near-infrared fluorescent probe, DDAO-C6, was developed for visually sensing endogenous lipase from gut microbes. Using DDAO-C6, a cultivated intestinal yeast strain was rapidly identified from human feces that exhibited high lipase expression and was identified as Trichosporon asahii Y2. We then determined that the colonization of the gut of mice with T. asahii Y2 increased lipase activity in the digestive tract and promoted obesity and hyperlipidemia when the mice were fed high fat diets. Above all, the present research resulted in a fluorescence visualization tool for the functional investigation of gut microbiota associated with obesity and disorders of lipid metabolism.

We retrospectively evaluated the clinical and imaging features of 6 patients with bone hydatid disease confirmed by surgery and pathological examination. Among the 6 patients, 2 were infected with Echinococcosis granulosus metacestode and 4 were infected with E. multilocularis metacestode. The 2 cases with cystic echinococcosis were diagnosed by computed tomographic (CT) examination, and other 4 cases were diagnosed by magnetic resonance (MR) imaging. On the initial evaluation, 1 case each was misdiagnosed as a giant cell tumor or neurogenic tumor, and 2 were misdiagnosed as tuberculosis. The imaging manifestations of bone hydatid disease are complex, but most common findings include expansive osteolytic bone destruction, which may be associated with sclerosing edges or dead bone formation, localized soft tissue masses, and vertebral lesions with wedge-shaped changes and spinal stenosis. Combining imaging findings with the patient's epidemiological history and immunological examinations is of great help in improving the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of bone hydatid disease.

OBJECTIVES: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease characterized by chronic inflammation and joint destruction. Both inflammatory response and oxidative stress contribute to the pathogenesis of RA. Oxidative damage can induce and aggravate the imbalance of immune inflammation and promote cell and tissue damage. In this study, the expression of long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) LINC00638 in peripheral blood of patients with RA damp-heat arthralgia syndrome was observed, and the correlation between LINC00638 and disease activity, immune inflammation and oxidative stress indicator was investigated. Subsequently, the mechanisms for LINC00638 in regulating the inflammatory response and oxidative stress in RA fibroblast-like synoviocyte (FLS) under the condition of overexpression and interference were further explored. METHODS: In this study, 48 RA patients with damp-heat arthralgia syndrome and 27 normal healthy subjects, who came from Department of Rheumatology, First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine, were included; and they were divided into a RA group and a control group. The expression of LINC00638 in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) from the subjects was detected by real-time PCR. Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to detect serum interleukin (IL)-10, IL-17, tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), malondialdehyde (MDA), heme oxygenase 1 (HO-1) and superoxide dismutase 2 (SOD2) expression. Spearman method was used to study the relationship between LINC00638 and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), C-reactive protein (CRP), rheumatoid factor (RF), anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibody (anti-CCP), and to observe the relation between LINC00638 and the Disease Activity Score of 28 Joint (DAS28), Quantitative Score of Damp Heat Syndrome, Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS). RA-FLS was induced by RA-PBMC, and the RA in vitro cell experimental model was established. LINC00638 overexpression plasmid and small interfering RNA (siRNA) were constructed and transfected into RA-FLS. The cell experiments were divided into 4 groups: a pcDNA3. 1- control group, a pcDNA3.1-LINC00638 group, a siRNA-control group, and a siRNA-LINC00638 group. The transfection efficiency of overexpression plasmid and siRNA was detected by real-time PCR, the expression of TNF-α and IL-10 was detected by ELISA, and the expression of antioxidant proteins HO-1 and SOD2 was detected by immunofluorescence. RESULTS: Compared with the control group, the expression of LINC00638 in the RA group was lower (P<0.01). The area under the curve (AUC) of the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve of LINC00638 was 0.9271. The DAS28 in RA group was 5.70 (5.40-6.50), the Quantitative Score of Damp-heat Syndrome was 20.0 (17.0-23.0), and the VAS score was 7.0 (6.3-8.0). Compared with the control group, the ESR, CRP, RF, anti-CCP, SAS and SDS scores in the RA group were significantly increased (all P<0.01). Spearman correlation analysis showed that: LINC00638 was negatively correlated with ESR (r=-0.532, P<0.01), CRP (r=-0.367, P<0.05), TNF-α (r=-0.375, P<0.01), MDA (r= -0.295, P<0.05), DAS28 (r=-0.450, P<0.01), and which was positively correlated with SOD2 (r=0.370, P<0.05). After the induction of RA-FLS, the expression level of LINC00638 was significantly decreased (P<0.01), indicating that the stimulation of PBMC could effectively reduce the expression of LINC00638 in RA-FLS, so the experimental model of RA-FLS-induced by PBMC was utilized. Compared with the pcDNA3.1-control group, the expressions of LINC00638, IL-10, SOD2, and HO-1 in the pcDNA3.1-LINC00638 group were significantly increased (all P<0.01), and the expression of TNF-α was decreased (P<0.01). Compared with siRNA-control group, LINC00638, IL-10, SOD2 and HO-1 in the siRNA-LINC00638 group were significantly decreased (all P<0.01), and TNF-α was significantly increased (P<0.01). CONCLUSIONS: LINC00638 is down-regulated in the peripheral blood of RA patients with damp-heat arthralgia syndrome, which is correlated with disease activity, immune inflammation and oxidative stress. Overexpression of LINC00638 can down-regulate pro-inflammatory factors, up-regulate anti-inflammatory factors, and increase antioxidant enzyme activity, thereby improving inflammation and oxidative stress in RA. LINC00638 is the differential lncRNA obtained by the research group's previous high-throughput sequencing of the whole transcriptome of peripheral blood PBMCs in RA patients and validation of clinical samples. In order to deepen the molecular biology research of this gene, the microRNA and mRNA targeted by LINC00638 can be further studied from the perspective of competing endogenous RNAs.

Recently, two-dimensional superconductivity was discovered at the oxide interface between KTaO_{3} and LaAlO_{3} (or EuO), whose superconducting transition temperature T_{c} is up to 2.2 K and exhibits strong crystalline-orientation dependence. However, the origin of the interfacial electron gas, which becomes superconducting at low temperatures, remains elusive. Taking the LaAlO_{3}/KTaO_{3}(111) interface as an example, we have demonstrated that there exists a critical LaAlO_{3} thickness of â¼3 nm. Namely, a thinner LaAlO_{3} film will give rise to an insulating but not conducting (or superconducting) interface. By in situ transport measurements during growth, we have also revealed that the critical thickness can be suppressed if exposure to oxygen is avoided. These observations, together with other control experiments, suggest strongly that the origination of the electron gas is dominated by the electron transfer that is from oxygen vacancies in the LaAlO_{3} film to the KTaO_{3} substrate.
RESUMO
We report on the observation of a T_{c}â¼0.9 K superconductivity at the interface between LaAlO_{3} film and the 5d transition metal oxide KTaO_{3}(110) single crystal. The interface shows a large anisotropy of the upper critical field, and its superconducting transition is consistent with a Berezinskii-Kosterlitz-Thouless transition. Both facts suggest that the superconductivity is two-dimensional (2D) in nature. The carrier density measured at 5 K is â¼7×10^{13} cm^{-2}. The superconducting layer thickness and coherence length are estimated to be â¼8 and â¼30 nm, respectively. Our result provides a new platform for the study of 2D superconductivity at oxide interfaces.
RESUMO
BACKGROUND: This study aims to describe the association between sharp score and clinical indexes, bone metabolism indexes, Disease Activity Score (DAS28) and sociodemographic factors in rheumatoid arthritis (RA). METHODS: Data were collected from the HIS (hospital information system), a national inpatient database in China, with information on the patients hospitalized during the period from 2012 to 2019. The association between sharp score and effective factors were identified using multinomial logistic regression and association rule mining (ARM). RESULTS: Three thousand eight hundred and forty patients were included: 82.66% males, 17.34% females, mean (SD) age 56.95 (12.68) years and symptom duration 3.45 (1.09) years. Spearman correlation analysis and Association rules analysis showed that there were significant positive correlations between sharp score and effective factors. Logistic regression analysis presented that erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (CRP), rheumatoid factor (RF) were risk factors of sharp score. In the analysis of individual outcomes, sex, age, symptom duration, DSA28 score, RF, ever drinker, and radiographic grading of hands were influence factors of sharp score. CONCLUSION: Sharp score should be taken into consideration in formulating treatment strategies in RA.

Two-dimensional (2D) nanorod meshes made of benzoperylene-1,3-dicyanotetrafluorobenzene (BP-1,3-DTFB) were formed via crystal transformation of the pre-existing BP microsheets. The transformation was driven by a cooperative effect of intermolecular charge-transfer and arene-perfluoroarene interactions. Epitaxial growth of cyan-emitting BP-1,3-DTFB nanorod meshes was directed by small lattice mismatch between BP and BP-1,3-DTFB, followed by the consumption of BP and the formation of BP-1,3-DTFB. Such a crystal transformation strategy can also be used to guide the formation of BP-1,4-dicyanotetrafluorobenzene (BP-1,4-DTFB) nanorod meshes. The present work reports a simple yet effective approach for the realization of aligned organic nanorod superstructures.
RESUMO
We report here a new ternary solvated (perylene-TCNB)·2THF cocrystal, which can transform into binary perylene-TCNB cocrystal reversibly by successive desorption or absorption of THF solvent. As a consequence, macroscopic mechanical bending would be realized when repeated stimulation with THF solvent. The present results clearly demonstrated that solvent induced mechanical bending is driven by structural change at the molecular scale. Such solvatomechanical bending behavior is clearly revealed for the first time.
RESUMO
In contrast to those for their polymeric counterparts, the controlled construction of organic heterostructured architectures derived from π-conjugated organic molecules has been rare and remains a great challenge. Herein, we develop a simple single-step solution strategy for the realization of organic heterostructures comprising coronene and perylene. Under a sequential crystallization process, an efficient doping step for coronene and perylene domains enables their perfect lattice matching, which facilitates facet-selective epitaxial growth of perylene domains on both the tips and the side surfaces of the preformed seed microwires by manipulating the growth pathways of the two pairs of materials. The present synthetic route provides a promising platform to investigate the detailed formation mechanism of complex organic heterostructures with specific topological configurations, further directing the construction of more functional heterostructured materials.
RESUMO
A system of zerovalent iron combined with potassium permanganate and ferrous irons (Fe(II)-KMnO4-ZVI) was used to remove As(III), one of the most poisonous wastewater pollutants. The Fe(II)-KMnO4-ZVI system was characterized by using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy. The As(III) removal efficiency by the Fe(II)-KMnO4-ZVI system under different conditions was investigated and the experimental data were fitted to adsorption kinetics and isotherm models. As(III) could be removed by both physisorption and chemisorption through mixing adsorbents in a very short time (minute scale) with high removal ratios (more than 99.5%) over a wide range of pH (1-9) and concentration (20-100 mg/L). The removal of As(III) by the Fe(II)-KMnO4-ZVI system agreed well with pseudo-first-order reaction kinetics and pseudo-second-order reaction kinetics. The Freundlich isotherm provided a good model of the adsorption system, indicating that the Fe(II)-KMnO4-ZVI system has heterogeneous structure. The results show that the Fe(II)-KMnO4-ZVI system exhibited a high removal efficiency for As(III), which suggested that it might be an effective material for As(III) remediation.
