Tuberculide papular o tuberculosis cutánea paucibacilar: reporte de caso / Tuberculids papular or paucibacillary cutaneous tuberculosis: case report

RESUMEN

La tuberculide papular es una variante de tuberculide cutánea caracterizada por pápulas y nódulos en cara, pabellones auriculares, cuello, tórax y extremidades, que se presenta en pacientes jóvenes con prueba de tuberculina positiva; además se observan granulomas tuberculoides perianexiales en la biopsia de piel. Al igual que otras tuberculides tiene prueba de PCR positiva en piel, por lo que se le puede considerar como una forma paucibacilar de tuberculosis cutánea. Se presenta el caso de una mujer con tuberculide papular de inicio durante la gestación y se revisa la literatura.

ABSTRACT

Papular tuberculid is a cutaneous tuberculid variant characterized by papules and nodules on face, ears, neck, chest and limbs, occurring in young patients with positive tuberculin test, in addition to periadnexal tuberculoid granulomas in skin biopsy. Like other tuberculids is PCR positive on skin, and for that reason it must be considered as a form of paucibacillary cutaneous tuberculosis. We present the case of a woman with papular tuberculids starting during pregnancy and review the literature.
